RANDY TRAVIS, KENNY ROGERS, BIG & RICH, THE KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS AND MORE MAKE BILLBOARD'S "GREATEST OF ALL-TIME COUNTRY ALBUMS CHART

There's a reason the best in country music put their trust in the best in
country music public relations and Webster PR.

Congratulations!

Webster PR clients are once again recognized for their trailblazing success in Billboard’s ‘Greatest of All-Time Country Albums’ chart. The full chart can be viewed on Billboard’s website here and listened to on Spotify.

“We’re thrilled our artists are getting the recognition they deserve! From Randy Travis to Big & Rich, these acts defined how to entertain and make music for decades to come,” said Webster Public Relations president Kirt Webster.

Billboard’s list includes current and deceased Webster PR clients:

No. 5 - Always & Forever - Randy Travis
No. 17 - Storms of Life - Randy Travis
No. 25 - The Gambler - Kenny Rogers
No. 36 - For The Good Times - Ray Price
No. 43 - The Best of Charley Pride - Charley Pride
No. 45 - Kenny Rogers’ Greatest Hits - Kenny Rogers
No. 47 - Old 8 x 10 - Randy Travis
No. 75 - Kenny - Kenny Rogers
No. 90 - Pickin’ On Nashville - The Kentucky Headhunters
No. 92 - The Best of the Statler Brothers - Jimmy Fortune
No. 94 - Horse of a Different Color - Big & Rich

According to Billboard, the Greatest of All-Time Country Albums are based on weekly performance on Top Country Albums (from its Jan. 11, 1964 inception through June 4, 2016). Titles are ranked based on an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at lower spots earning the least. Due to changes in chart methodology over the years, eras are weighted differently to account for chart turnover rates over various periods.

PRICELESS LEGACY OF "BEAUTY IS ..." PROVES RAY PRICE'S RELEVANCY IN A NEW GENERATION OF MUSIC

"Offstage, he was just the guy I love. When that red light went on in the studio, or when he stepped onto the stage and they handed him that microphone, something happened. It was a higher power. This transformation took place in him. He turned into RAY PRICE." – Janie Price

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 16, 2014) – Beauty Is…the final sessions, the last recordings of Country Music Hall of Fame member Ray Price, debuted on the Billboard Country Album chart at #22 in April 2014 marking his highest album debut week since the 1981 release of Town & Country (which entered at #17).  Produced by Grammy award winning hit maker and friend Fred Foster, Ray Price’s, Beauty Is… highlights the timeless, signature string and shuffle sound of Price and features duets with Vince Gill and Martina McBride.  Released on AmeriMonte Records, this iconic project is available at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations as well as Hastings, Walmart, and online retailers including Amazon.

“Graceful to the end, Price takes a final bow with an elegant collection that nicely caps a great musical legacy.”
 Michael McCall, Associated Press

“Beauty Is… is the sound of a man in full, looking back on the life and love that fulfilled him.  It is the most graceful of exits.”
Peter Cooper, Tennessean

“After one listen of this remarkable album, you will note that Price’s flawless phrasing, vocal resonance and burnished warmth of tone create a glow that lingers long after the final notes have sounded.”
Robert K. Oermann,  Music Row

“Price recorded this 12-track farewell that eschews self-pity for warmth, compassion and a vibrancy of spirit that reverberated until his last days. With a voice that lost none of its luster and a full complement of strings and big melodies on tracks like An Affair to Remember with Martina McBride and No More Songs to Sing, Price crafted a final love letter to his wife, Janie, that will leave fans loving and missing him even more.”
Erik Ernst, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

“We are extremely delighted and honored to have released Beauty Is…,” says AmeriMonte Records President Steve Popovich, Jr. “This album falls nothing short of a true masterpiece and you'll understand why he believed this to be of his best work. He captured true perfection and left a huge void not only in Country music, but in music in general. There will only be one Ray Price and through Beauty Is...his legacy will live on forever.”
