Performances by Chris Stapleton, Idina Menzel, Lady A, Lionel Richie, Little Big Town and Reba McEntire, Plus a Special Duet Featuring Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers

The life and legacy of country music legend Kenny Rogers is honored in a new star-studded concert special, “Kenny Rogers: All In For The Gambler,” to be broadcast Thursday, Sept. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Filmed at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville before Rogers’ untimely passing, the live concert features on-stage tributes, artists’ anecdotes and inspiring songs performed in front of the music icon himself, as he bid farewell to performing and announced his retirement.

Featured artists, including Chris Stapleton, Idina Menzel, Lady A, Lionel Richie, Little Big Town and Reba McEntire, sing some of Rogers’ greatest hits, such as “The Gambler,” “Lady,” “She Believes in Me,” “Through the Years,” “Lucille,” “We’ve Got Tonight” and more. In a special tribute, Rogers’ dear friend and longtime duet partner, global superstar Dolly Parton, takes the stage to share touching memories and anecdotes about Rogers, performing a series of songs that culminate in an emotional finale featuring Rogers himself.

“Kenny Rogers’ enormous impact on Country music was matched only by the love all the artists and fans showed Kenny on this incredible night. We are so thrilled to share this special with his friends, family and fans all around the world as he will remain forever in our hearts,” said Executive Producers Keith Wortman and Ken Levitan.

#NOWPLAYING - SONGS YOU SHOULD BE LISTENING TO ... FRIDAY, APRIL 5

If you're looking for new artists and you're getting tired of the same old Top 40 repetition on today's country radio, check out these names you may or may not be familiar with. Some songs listed are new, some may have been out a little while, but good music doesn't have a shelf life.

If you find yourself liking someone, follow them on social media and let them know you enjoy their music. Please be sure to talk about and share any of the songs and artists you like on this list. I'm sure they'd appreciate it! One more thing, if you purchase and download a song, please be sure to leave a review. These help the artists and their teams more than you realize. If you like the song, let them know why you love it. If not, be constructive and honest (not mean) about why you don't like it so much.
"Working on a Love Song"

"Raise the Bar"

"More Hearts Than Mine"

"Tammy Wynette Kind of Pain"

"If You're Lucky"

"Mr. Lonely"

"My One and Only Weakness"

SINGLE REVIEW: "UNTIL THEY DON'T LOVE YOU" - REBA

SINGLE: "Until They Don't Love You"
ARTIST: Reba
REVIEWER: Maria Talamo
Follow Maria on Twitter at @Maria_Talamo

Is there anything Reba can’t do!? I mean seriously, she can act, she can sell out Vegas residencies, she has her own beauty line and the ever obvious…she can sing! She recently announced that her second single off of “Love Somebody” is going to be the fast paced “Until They Don’t Love You.” There is so much energy in this song.  Reba co-produced the song with Tony Brown and was written by Shane McAnally, Lori McKenna and Josh Osborne. The key line of the song is “Sometimes you don’t love somebody until they don’t love you” which goes along the lines of the whole you never know what you have until its gone idiom. In the song shes realizing how much she loved someone once they decided to leave and in a last ditch effort to try to keep him from leaving, gets down on her knees and begs him to stay.  It’s another reminder that we should never take things for granted and that sometimes the grass isn’t greener on the other side. I highly suggest listening to this song if you haven’t done so already!

SINGLE REVIEW: "GOING OUT LIKE THAT" - REBA MCENTIRE

Single: "Going Out Like That"
Artist: Reba McEntire
Reviewer: Alyse Smith
Follow Alyse on Twitter at @ASmith1300

Throughout her career, Reba has exemplified several phrases. “Empowering woman”, “Dynamic performer” and “Vocals as strong as her personality.” are a just few that have been bandied about. Not only has she exemplified these things in her life and career, but frequently in her music as well.  She’s had a string of hits with the topic being strong women and this song is no different.  A woman who refused to let herself be felled by the pain of a breakup gets out and gets over it.  This is by no means an original story, Reba herself has done it before as have Brooks and Dunn.  However, does anyone really do it like Reba does? I don’t think so.

Going Out Like That” is the consummate “Welcome Back Reba” song that we’ve all been waiting for after having not heard any new Redheaded Legacy music for a couple years.  A “get off your ass and put on some heels, the time for grieving’s gone” song, “Going Out Like That” does not disappoint.  Reba once again shows us why we love her and her latest single will attract new fans and delight the millions she already has.  Reba has proven year after year what it means to show up and work your ass off with a smile on her face the entire time.  Of course, the absurd talent and incomparable stage presence helps as well.  “Going Out Like That” is an anthem for the broken-hearted, showing formidability instead of fragility.

Reba has intermittent shows until her Vegas Caesar’s Palace residency with Brooks and Dunn, starting in June.  She will also have a new album coming out under the newly-formed Nash Icons label.

19 Country Artists to Sing 'The Choice' Benefitting Soles4Souls

Charity single brings together 18 Top Country Music Artists for international shoe charity Soles4Souls. Billy Gilman spearheads historic project to sponsor 500,000 pairs of shoes.

Join them in in their quest to donate 500,000 pairs of shoes to those who need them worldwide. Download 'The Choice' from iTunes. One Download=One Pair.

Artists include: Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Craig Morgan, Rodney Atkins, Kenny Rogers, LeAnn Rimes, Steve Holy, Billy Gilman, Kellie Pickler, Keith Urban, Wynonna Judd, Amy Grant, Montgomery Gentry, Diamond Rio, Vince Gill, Ronnie Milsap, Richie McDonald, Randy Travis, and Josh Turner

Nashville, TN ‚ Multi-platinum selling artist and Grammy nominee Billy Gilman, will make his much anticipated return to music with the April 16th release of 'The Choice,' a charity single that will benefit Soles4Souls. In addition to Gilman, the song features 18 of country music's top artists, including Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Josh Turner, and Keith Urban (see entire list of artists above). Through the strong support of CMT and Regal Entertainment Group, the music video associated with the song will get great national exposure with its premiere on April 16th.

Gilman, who has sold more than six million albums worldwide and garnered awards and nods from the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, Billboard Magazine, and the American Music Awards, was in the process of writing material for his upcoming music project with two of his co-writers, Dan Murph and Philip Douglas, when the idea for 'The Choice' was born. The group watched a YouTube video in which Soles4Souls challenged people from all across the country to start their own shoe drives in their communities and do something to benefit those living in adverse poverty and in need of footwear. But instead of setting up a collection bin on a crowded street, they got the idea to do what they do best--write a song. They agreed that every penny generated from the song, including the songwriters' and publishers' shares, would go to Soles4Souls. Within one week, the trio penned 'The Choice' and pitched the idea to the charity organization.

'This pretty much started out as just a song for Billy,' said Murph. 'Then he called and asked a fellow artist to sing on it with him. And that led to another artist. And before we knew it, all of these amazing iconic country artists were lining up to volunteer their time and talent to this song and this amazing cause. The support for Soles4Souls among the country music community has grown beyond our wildest expectations.'

'The Choice' was recorded in a Nashville studio one week following the meeting between Gilmanís team and Soles4Souls. It is being released on the Cotton Valley Records (CVR) label through the generous support of recording studio veteran J. Gary Smith. 'Having partnered with some of the world's finest talent, CVR is proud to participate in this amazing project,' said Smith. Soles4Souls is a wonderful organization and 'The Choice' a truly inspiring song. One hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to Soles4Souls.'

In addition to premiering the music video, CMT is putting its muscle behind the song with an extensive marketing campaign that will include promotion on the CMT main channel, CMT mobile, CMT Insider, CMT Radio and CMT blogs. Regal Entertainment Group, the largest movie cinema company in the United States, will air an exclusive 30-second clip of 'The Choice' for a two-week period beginning April 13th on all of its 6,775 screens. The clip features a performance by Gilman and a special message urging people to download the song and bring the goal of placing 500,000 pair of shoes one step closer to reality.

'Soles4Souls is a very worthwhile cause and Regal Entertainment Group is proud to support this initiative by featuring the message on our screens to be viewed by moviegoers all across the country,' said Dick Westerling, Senior Vice-President, Regal Entertainment Group.

Gilman burst onto the national stage in 2000 at the age of 12, releasing the hit single 'One Voice' and becoming the youngest singer to land on the Top 40 country charts. His debut album was certified double platinum in the United States, and he was included in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest singer to ever reach #1 on the Billboard Top Country Album charts.

Dedicated to providing shoes to children and adults around the world who live in adverse poverty, Soles4Souls has donated more than 17 million pairs of shoes across 129 countries since its inception in 2004.

About 'The Choice'

Never in the history of country music have so many stars united on one single song. 'The Choice' was co-written by multi-platinum-selling GRAMMY nominee Billy Gilman to bring attention to the world wide plight of children in desperate need of shoes. One hundred percent of the proceeds from digital downloads of 'The Choice' go directly to Soles4Souls, one of the fastest-growing nonprofits in the country whose goal is simply to put shoes on people in need. 'The Choice' came to life through the contribution of the voices of Gilman and fellow country artists Rodney Atkins, Montgomery Gentry, Amy Grant, Steve Holy, Alan Jackson, Wynonna Judd, Richie McDonald, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Ronnie Milsap, Craig Morgan, Kellie Pickler, LeAnn Rimes, Diamond Rio, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, Josh Turner and Keith Urban. Scheduled to be released on April 16, 2012, the objective of The Choice is to put 500,000 pairs of shoes on children in need.

About Soles4Souls

Based in Nashville, Tenn., Soles4Souls collects new shoes to give relief to the victims of abject suffering and collects used shoes to support micro-enterprise efforts to eradicate poverty. The organization also provides clothing and other necessities under the names Clothes4Souls and Hope4Souls. Donating parties may be eligible for tax advantages.
