The follow up to "Tell Me Something Good," "Whole Lot Of Livin" is the newest chapter in the lives of North 40 - a creative collaboration with a tight fusion of sweet and spicy harmonies and songs that hit home with the core country listener.

Though relatively new as a music duo, the friendship of Paige Logan and Heather Looney goes back almost two decades. Both originally moved to Nashville to pursue music careers, and as life, family, children, etc., sidetracked them a bit, they never lost sight of their artistic dreams. Finally, and after realizing that the music they were hearing on the radio was not speaking to them or their demographic – the core country listener – they decided to take matters into their own hands…‘cause life begins at North 40.

JOE BACHMAN BRINGS MEANING BACK TO COUNTRY MUSIC WITH "A SOLDIER'S MEMOIR (PTSD SONG)"

Personal Note: Country music has always strived to be a genre where music has meaning, tells a story and makes those listening REALLY LISTEN to what it's saying. Joe Bachman has released a song that does just that, "A Soldier's Memoir (PTSD Song)."

Unfortunately, far too many of us can relate to the message of this song. Many of us have loved ones and friends in the military who are affected by post traumatic stress disorder. It's a terrible thing and seems to be overlooked or undiagnosed too often. Many of our troops suffer just as much coming home from being at war than they did being in the middle of it and it's something we should all pay attention to and do what we can to help, to understand. They need us.

Thank you to Joe Bachman for delivering this message in a gentle, yet emotionally effective manner. This song is amazing and if you have a heart at all, it will hit you right in the middle of it. Please go purchase this song on iTunes or Amazon and request it on your local stations. Let's show those who sacrifice for us that we care and we support.

Joe Bachman - "A Soldier's Memoir (PTSD Song)" -Impacting Country Radio on July 23rd

“Approximately 4 months ago, one of my best friends (a Psychiatrist for the US Navy) reached out to me about something he deals with on a daily basis. He spoke to me in depth about the struggles of PTSD amongst our Armed Forces and how difficult it is for most of them to speak about it. We spent several hours on the phone/email that day and he inspired me to write a song about this difficult issue that plagues so many of our troops and their families. I spoke with my father (retired US Army) and several other friends that have served or are currently serving. I wrote this song with a great buddy of mine in Nashville and we just recently recorded it. We have been playing it at every radio and live performance on our current tour and the response has been unbelievable. More than one on-air DJ actually cried during the song. Here is a link to find your local station's current Mediabase playlist. Mediabase reporting stations are very important. These are the stations that report spins which moves an artist up or down the charts. Find your station and use these as a tool when requesting your favorite artists. If your favorite artist isn't listed, this means more than likely you won't be hearing them until they are added. That's where you come in. Keep calling, emailing, tweeting and Facebooking your station and requesting. The more demand, the better chance of your artist being played!

Steve Holy is one of our favorite artists, actually our current feature artist, so seeing this news today made us pretty happy! Curb Records has officially released "Hauled Off and Kissed Me" as his new single and sent it to country radio for immediate airplay. This song has "HIT" written all over, minimal Top 10, potential #1 with enough demand. Speaking of demand, that's where you guys come in. Please contact your local stations via phone, email, texts, tweets, Facebook or any other contact that your station has established for fan contact and let them know you think this song is a hit and you want to hear it. If your station has a weekly countdown (Hot 10 at 10 - that kinda thing), start rounding up votes and get it on there! This one's been in the KRTY Hot 9 at 9 for over 2 weeks now and has been #1 for a cumulative total of 12 nights and has been in the WRNS 95.1 for over a week too.

These aren't just country stations, they are country stations with the nation's largest audiences and are Mediabase reporting stations. Below are the links to each station's "Mediabase Playlist Requests" which are for us, the fans, to let them know what we want to hear. Check up to 5 of your favorite new songs listed. If your favorite song is NOT listed, please write it in at the bottom where there is a space for handwritten song requests. The higher the demand through these lists in addition to calls, tweets, texts and emails, the sooner your favorite can get added to the playlist and the longer your favorite can stay in rotation. Huge request, if you don't see Steve Holy's new one listed, "Hauled Off and Kissed Me", please add it to one of the write in slots, there are slots for 3 unlisted songs. Let's get this song added to rotations in these major markets, along with any other new singles that you don't see. Please do not call the station's program directors or music directors unless you are officially working on behalf of the artist such as a label rep, promotions rep, publicist, management, etc. Although it seems as though this is being helpful, it can actually hurt an artist more than help and make it harder to get added.
