THE FRONTMEN'S SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM ARRIVES TODAY VIA BBR MUSIC GROUP/BMG NASHVILLE

Stream and Download "The Frontmen" HERE

THE FRONTMEN, three of ‘90s country’s most recognizable voices — Richie McDonald, formerly of Lonestar; Tim Rushlow, formerly of Little Texas; and Larry Stewart of Restless Heart — today release their self-titled debut album via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.
The Frontmen, produced by two-time GRAMMY-nominated Mickey Jack Cones, features nine original songs, as well as three Lonestar, Little Texas and Restless Heart No. 1 hits, re-recorded Frontmen-style. The trio tag team lead vocals throughout.

"It's super cool to release brand new Frontmen music as a full album," says Stewart. "I'm so excited about this music, these songs and how this project represents the three of us so perfectly. Mickey Jack Cones did a magical job capturing Richie, Tim and myself from top to bottom. I can’t wait for the world to hear it and I couldn’t be more proud!"

Original tunes on the project ("Beatles and Eagles," "The Radio Played," "Layin' Low in Mexico," "It Was Always You," "Rattlesnake," "I Need You," "Goodbye Beautiful Goodbye," "Should've Run Out of Angels" and "Left Their Mark") were hand-picked by the trio and Cones. Classic tunes on the album are songs most will instantly recognize: Lonestar's “Amazed (The Frontmen Edition),” Little Texas' “God Blessed Texas (The Frontmen Edition)” and Restless Heart's “I’ll Still Be Loving You (The Frontmen Edition).”

"I feel like a kid on Christmas morning, waiting to unwrap the presents," notes McDonald. "We’ve been anxiously waiting to unwrap this new Frontmen music and share with the world for awhile now. Thanks to everyone involved for help making this dream a reality."

“It feels quite surreal to finally let the world in on what we have been cooking in the kitchen with The Frontmen," adds Rushlow. "For 14 years playing select shows at home and overseas for our men and women in uniform, it's time to see what the world thinks of us! I am more proud of this record with Larry and Richie than any music I have ever been involved in making. Mickey Jack Cones is a true believer who totally knew where to navigate this new sound and yet still be reminiscent of our past successes. We are so grateful to Jon Loba and his team at BMG Nashville for this opportunity. Let's GO!"

THE FRONTMEN RELEASE LONG AWAITED NEW MUSIC

"Left Their Mark” and "Amazed (The Frontmen Edition)”
Available for Streaming Today

Download or Stream Here

The Frontmen (Larry Stewart of Restless Heart; Richie McDonald, formerly of Lonestar; and Tim Rushlow, formerly of Little Texas) today released two fresh songs through their new label home, BMG/BBR Music Group. “Left Their Mark” and “Amazed (The Frontmen Edition)” are available now through all digital streaming music providers.

These debut songs from The Frontmen feature McDonald singing lead on “Left Their Mark,” which gives a heartfelt nod to our men and women in uniform, and “Amazed (The Frontmen Edition),” a re-record of Lonestar’s 1999 No. 1 smash hit.

With Memorial Day approaching, McDonald feels the timing is right for the world to hear the red, white and blue drenched, “Left Their Mark.” The song was written by McDonald and hit tunesmith James Dean Hicks.

“It’s crazy to think a song that me and James Dean Hicks wrote over thirteen years ago now has a chance to touch some hearts and leave a mark on the world," says McDonald. "That’s what I love about making music.”

The national television broadcast premiere of "Left Their Mark" happens this Memorial Day weekend on the Tunnel to Towers Dallas Never Forget Concert Country Music Salutes America’s Heroes TV special. Stewart, McDonald and Rushlow join an all-star lineup of Jelly Roll, Tanya Tucker, Ian Munsick, Dennis Quaid, Krista Marie and more, in saluting our nation's military heroes and first responders. The program will air across multiple broadcast partners in the coming months, beginning with this weekend's premiere across major FOX affiliate markets. Click here for broadcast details. Watch the sizzle reel here.

These new songs from The Frontmen are but a taste of what’s to come from the three legendary voices of '90s country. More tunes, all of which will be included on an upcoming album, will be released in the coming months, with Stewart, Rushlow and McDonald tag-teaming lead vocals. Two-time GRAMMY-nominated Mickey Jack Cones is producing the project.

"LOVE LIVES ON" SINGLE FEATURING LONESTAR, VINCE GILL AND FRIENDS SET TO RELEASE MARCH 20

A RECOLLECTION AND MUSICAL DEDICATION TO OUR MEN AND WOMEN OF SERVICE
WHO HAVE MADE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE
AVAILABLE FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2020
• Single Poised As “Vocal Event Of The Year” •
• Proceeds To Benefit TAPS •

Roots & American Music Society (RAMS), a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and record label based in Memphis, Tennessee, has teamed with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) to orchestrate and create a meaningful recording project titled LOVE LIVES ON. The combined creative endeavor aligned TAPS military families, who have endured the loss of a loved one, with some of the music industry’s most gifted and renowned songwriters to pen the family members’ intimate and personal stories in music and song. The title track, “Love Lives On,”* and debut single will be released as an early introduction to the 10-track collaboration and available via all major digital retail and streaming outlets (Amazon/iTunes/Pandora/ Spotify/Tidal) on Friday, March 20, 2020. Pre-sale event begins Friday, February 21, 2020.

Written by TAPS Founder and President, Bonnie Carroll, alongside Richie McDonald (Lonestar), and producers Frank Myers (Richie McDonald/Kenny Loggins/Michael Burrows/Eddy Raven/Andy Griggs) and Jimmy Nichols (Reba/Faith Hill/Andy Griggs/Mindy McCready), “Love Lives On” opens with dancing piano keys that gently give way to an introspective and true-to-life storyline. Inspired by Carroll’s husband, Brig. Gen. Thomas C. Carroll, a lifelong Alaskan and commander of the Alaska Army National Guard who lost his life when his National Guard plane crashed, the recalling and captivating tune touches on the hardship of unexpected and untimely death, and learning to live again, in faith, love and with hope.

“Richie, Jimmy and I attended the TAPS 25th Anniversary Gala last year and the idea was inspired by Bonnie Carroll’s opening remarks,” introduced co-producer Frank Myers.“The song is a moving mid-tempo that not only speaks to Bonnie's personal story, but embraces the stories of so many TAPS survivors. This is by far the most meaningful project I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of."

Poised to be a "vocal event,” Richie McDonald (Lonestar) performs lead vocals complemented by Grammy®-winning artist Vince Gill; the tune is livened by a powerful chorus (signatured by an award-winning group of recording artists and songwriters) to shine “light at the end of the tunnel” symbolizing “hope” for those who carry the burden of grief.

LOVE LIVES ON - EVERY DAY EVERY NIGHT

IN OUR HEARTS IN OUR MINDS LIKE AND OLD CLASSIC SONG

LOVE LIVES ON - WHERE WE WORK WHERE WE LIVE

IN THE EYES OF OUR KIDS AND EVERY PICTURE ON THE WALL

I CAN STILL FEEL YOU WITH ME EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE GONE

LOVE LIVES ON, LOVE LIVES ON

“I’m honored to be a part of this song that was inspired by Bonnie’s touching story,” said “Love Lives On” co-writer and lead vocalist Richie McDonald. “She poured her heart out, and as writers, we just took her emotions, put them to rhyme and reason to create a song that will hopefully help others to ‘remember’.”

“This song…the entire project…with these incredible artists, gifted songwriters and beautiful families, is our chance to tell the story of service and sacrifice in our military, and among our military families,” said Bonnie Carroll, TAPS Founder and President. “I am so very proud of, and grateful for, all those who offered their hand, talent and heart to bring my personal story, and vision, to life.”

The release of the title track serves as a commencement leading to the release of the LOVE LIVES ON CD compilation highlighting 10 original songs that honor the dedication and lives of our servicemen and women, and the sacrifice of fallen military heroes. Vince Gill, Billy Ray Cyrus, John Rich, All-4-One, Gatlin Brothers, Lonestar and many others lent their time and vocal talents to perform on the project. A stellar grouping of A-list studio and touring musicians also appear on the album including Vinnie Colaiuta, Eric Darken, Dan Huff, David Hungate (Toto) and David Pack (Ambrosia) among numerous others. LOVE LIVES ON (the album) is set for a 2020 Memorial Day weekend release. Net proceeds from both the single and CD release will benefit TAPS. Ed Gertler, Digital Retail Services, will spearhead the digital retail and streaming services.

“My very first performance for TAPS was one of the most moving and rewarding experiences of my career; I immediately felt compelled to share the organization's passion,” added co-producer Jimmy Nichols. “My hope is that this project helps make that happen—that the TAPS' mission is on the minds, lips and in the hearts of folks across the country. For all those we’ve lost, and for those who have suffered for our freedom, we dedicate this magical musical tribute to you; because love (truly does) lives on."

CURRENTLY SPINNING NATIONWIDE AT COUNTRY RADIO AND AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON ALL DIGITAL RETAILERS

FIRST SINGLE OFF THE BAND’S FORTHCOMING ALBUM DUE OUT THIS FALL ON THEIR OWN 4 STAR RECORDS

2012 MARKS LONESTAR’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY AND THE RETURN OF ORIGINAL VOCALIST RICHIE McDONALD

 NATIONAL HEADLINING TOUR CONTINUES

“They prove that they can still put on a top-notch concert even after twenty years in the music business. Richie McDonald’s vocals were superb and versatile, and he proved that he is one of the greatest balladeers that country music has to offer since Gene Watson. Keech, Dean and Michael were exceptionally talented and the band as a whole interacted well with the audience.”

LONESTAR is back--and shining.

The multi-platinum country quartet has released their new single, “The Countdown,” currently spinning nationwide at country radio. The melodically sparkling and lyrically urgent track is available for purchase now on all digital retailers and will be featured on LONESTAR’s forthcoming yet-to-be-titled album due out this fall on their own 4 STAR RECORDS, in partnership with The Orchard. Download “The Countdown” now here: http://bit.ly/lonestar_countdown.

2012 marks a big year personally and professionally for LONESTAR--MICHAEL BRITT, lead guitar & backing vocals; RICHIE McDONALD, lead vocals & piano; KEECH RAINWATER, drums; and DEAN SAMS, keyboards and backing vocals--as they celebrate their 20th anniversary as a band and the return of revered original vocalist RICHIE McDONALD.

Of being back together in the studio working on the new album, McDONALD told the Dunkirk Observer (Dunkirk, NY), “The music is still country no matter how you look at it but there are some songs that have more country elements to them. We kind of mixed it up. It's always good to give the fans a little bit of everything.” He went on to say, “The music feels like us more than it ever has in our 20 year career. We think it’s the best album we've ever made." (7/9/12)

SAMS explained the inspiration for “The Countdown” to The Villager (Cattaraugus County, NY), “It’s a great up-tempo song that talks about this guy trying to get home to the girl he loves. It’s about all the miles, all the red lights, all the cities (along the way) just to get to her. Although ‘Countdown’ is one of the most driving songs done by Lonestar as a band, it is a very passionate love song.” (7/5/12)

LONESTAR is currently on a national headlining tour performing the new music for their fans, including “The Countdown,” “Pretty Good Day,” and “I Miss When.” Carly Weber of The Gazette (Cedar Rapids, IA) attended a recent show and noted, “…the catchy ‘[It’s a] Pretty Good Day [to be Me]’ is certainly a potential hit. The new songs fully energized the band, suggesting that the group is excited about the fresh material.” (7/5/12).
