CHRIS LANE ROCKETS INTO THE TOP 5 OF MACY’S iHEARTRADIO RISING STAR CONTEST

Lane's New Song “Her Own Kind Of Beautiful” Exclusively Streaming

Nashville, TN (May 4, 2015) – Hot country newcomer Chris Lane rocketed into the Top 5 of Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star contest. Vying for the opening performance slot at the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Festival 2015, fans can exclusively preview Lane’s new song “Her Own Kind Of Beautiful,” at Macys.iHeart.com.

“To compete with artists of all genres in the Top 5 is completely mindblowing. I can't thank my fans enough for going to bat for me," says Lane.

Voting is open now through May 24 at Macys.iHeart.com or on Twitter using the hashtag #RisingStar and Lane’s Twitter handle: @iamChrisLane. The winner will be revealed on May 27.

Superstar duo Florida Georgia Line showed their support across their socials, tweeting “Y’all make sure to tweet or retweet @iamchrislane and #RisingStar.”

Lane will be making a special appearance at his hometown Macy’s in Winston-Salem, NC at Hanes Mall on Saturday, May 16.

Starting the year off in high gear, Lane was named an “Artist To Watch” on Spotify, #CMChat, Tasteofcountry.com, TheBoot.com and Teen Vogue, Glamour and The Tennessean have been buzzing about him.

Lane’s breakout single “Broken Windshield View” hit country radio and iTunes last summer, shattering digital sales with over 11,000 downloads in the first week. The single also reached Top 10 on iTunes US, Top 5 on iTunes Canada and Top 3 on iTunes Australia, and the music video for the infectious tune premiered exclusively across CMT, CMT Pure, ChrisLane.CMT.com and CMT Artists App.

Becoming known for his standout vocals and energizing live show, Lane has played well over 500 shows in the past few years and has toured with Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann, Florida Georgia Line, among others.

Currently, Lane is in the studio recording his first Big Loud Mountain project with acclaimed producer Joey Moi.

NASHVILLE, TN (May 4, 2015) – Big Spark Music Group powerhouse vocalist-songstress Olivia Lane recently made a visit to iHeartRadio Music Studios in New York City, where she performed an acoustic set, including her upcoming single “You Part 2,” which will hit Country radio on June 8th. iHeartMedia Executive Vice President and General Manager of National Programming Platforms, Clay Hunnicutt, and staff heard the prominent newcomer’s debut single, “Steal Me Away,” along with other tracks off her STEAL ME AWAY EP while enjoying pizza and sushi.

Lane was recently selected as one of only five emerging Country music acts for the Top 25 prestigious Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star national campaign. In correlation with the contest, the singer released the lyric video for “You Part 2,” where she takes the reigns in the sassy video for the carefree track, written by the singer, Ilya Toshinskiy and Danny Myrick.

The newcomer is on the rise with the release of her debut single, “Steal Me Away,” garnering national attention -- Country Weekly’s 2015 Who's New list and CMT’s Listen Up Discovery Music Program 2015. The talented singer is working on new music with producer and musician Ilya Toshinskiy and has been writing with some of Nashville’s top tunesmiths including Catt Gravitt (Jake Owen, “Alone With You”), Danny Myrick (Jason Aldean, “She's Country”) and Laura Veltz (Eli Young Band, "Drunk Last Night”). She is currently traveling nationwide on radio tour and previously opened for artists such as Wynonna Judd, Frankie Ballard and Randy Houser. The fresh-faced newcomer made the move to Nashville, TN, over a year ago to pursue music, eagerly following in the footsteps of her mother who was a country singer. Ever since she can remember, the 23-year-old has been immersed in the craft and tradition of country music and knew that Music City was where she would land after graduating from USC with a focus in music, songwriting and acting.

SARAH DARLING WINS AMERICA'S HEARTS ON RISING STAR

Darling Advances to the Next Level on Rising Star Reaching 89% Positive Votes

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 23, 2014) – Sarah Darling is becoming "America's Darling" taking 89% positive votes on ABC’s new competition series, Rising Star, including the three experts, Ludacris, Kesha and Brad Paisley. Rising Star premiered last night where artists performed with the chance of raising the wall and moving to the next round of the competition. Shining through the votes, Darling was one of six who raised the wall.

"What a rush," states Darling after her performance. "It's truly an amazing opportunity and I'm so grateful for all the support. Now I can't wait to show the experts and America what I can do!"

Darling represented Country music as the only country-contestant performing Kacey Musgrave’s hit, "Merry Go Round." Paisley had the first vote, thrusting his arm in the air with excitement soon to be followed by Kesha and then Ludacris. After the wall raised, the experts raved on their excitement to see Darling continue as she held back tears of joy.

Next week, Darling will be able to relax as new contestants take the stage.

Nashville, TN (June 20, 2014) – “Nashville’s Darling” is soon to become “America’s Darling” when country music singer Sarah Darling performs on this Sunday’s premiere of ABC’s hotly-anticipated new series, “Rising Star,” Sunday, June 22, (9:00-11:00 p.m. ET; check local listings) on the ABC Television Network.
