NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (March 30, 2015) – Rodney Atkins is celebrating his birthday this year by celebrating a good cause – and one that hits particularly close to home. On Tuesday, March 31, Atkins and his wife, fellow singer/songwriter Rose Falcon Atkins, will host “Rod & Rosey's 2nd Annual Livin' Room Live Show” on StageIt to benefit the Holston United Methodist Home for Children.

Joined by special guests The Himms, the Atkinses will perform an intimate two-hour show via livestream starting at 7:30 p.m. CST. Fans can buy tickets for $5 with all proceeds going to the Holston United Methodist Home for Children in Greeneville, Tenn. Atkins spent a portion of his childhood at the home before being adopted.

The night’s biggest tippers will win prizes donated by musicians and athletes. The top donation will earn a 30-minute live StageIt concert with the Atkinses on a mutually-determined date. Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Josh Thompson, Bon Jovi, Brett Eldredge, Alison Krauss & Union Station and NASCAR drivers Kevin Harvick, Danica Patrick, Elliott Sadler and many others donated items to the cause.

“I’ve been so blessed in my life and my career, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without the people at Holston Home helping me along and placing me with my adoptive family,” Atkins said. “Giving back is important no matter how much you have. I try to live that and to teach my son to do the same, and to have so many come out and support this cause for my birthday means the world to me.”

Atkins released his fifth Curb Records album, Rodney Atkins – Greatest Hits, in February and his new single, “Eat Sleep Love You Repeat” is impacting country radio. He’s a longtime supporter of adoption services and is a former spokesman for the National Council for Adoption. He often returns to Holston Home to visit.

SINGER-SONGWRITER ROSE FALCON TO PERFORM ON THE CW’S HIT SERIES HART OF DIXIE ON DECEMBER 4 AT 8 PM ET

FALCON TO RELEASE 19TH AVENUE (VOLUME 2) ON JANUARY 29

NASHVILLE, TN – Show Dog Universal Music recording artist Rose Falcon will have a featured performance during tomorrow night’s episode of the hit TV series Hart of Dixie, airing on the CW network at 8 p.m. ET. Rose will be performing “You Stole My Heart,” which is a new song from her upcoming five-song EP entitled 19th Avenue (Volume 2) that will be released on January 29, 2013.

“We had such a great time on the set of Hart of Dixie,” says Rose. “This is a first for me to perform on a drama series and we’re doing a brand new song too. I’ve always loved the feeling of sharing new music with people. It is a very vulnerable feeling but exciting at the same time.”

To see a preview for the December 4th episode of the CW network’s Hart of Dixie, click on the link below: http://www.cwtv.com/shows/hart-of-dixie

Rose says, “The best advice I’ve ever heard was ‘If you want to be an artist, you can’t have a Plan B.’ I really believe that with all my heart. I have no Plan B.”

So far, Plan A has been pretty successful for Rose Falcon, who in just the past three years was signed to a writer and artist development deal with Cal IV Entertainment; has had her songs cut by Faith Hill and Lady Antebellum and featured in the film “Country Strong”; signed a recording contract with Show Dog-Universal Music; was featured on the national Country Throwdown Tour and recorded her first EP, 19th Avenue, with her new label in the summer of 2012. The New Year kicks off with the release of 19th Avenue (Volume 2), comprised of five new songs written and co-written by Rose.

Currently, two songs from the new EP are available at iTunes.
