RYAN HURD REVEALS PERSONAL SIDE IN NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “LOVE IN A BAR”

Black-and-white video shot at Hurd’s family lake house in Michigan offers an intimate glimpse at life off-the-road with fiancé Maren Morris

Emerging singer/songwriter Ryan Hurd partnered with VEVO and Rolling Stone for the premiere of his personal music video for “Love In Bar” featuring his new fiancé, Maren Morris. Filmed at Hurd’s family lake house in west Michigan where the GRAMMY & CMA-nominated songwriter spent summers growing up, the video offers an intimate, behind-the-scenes glimpse at life off the road for the two country stars who met and fell in love as songwriters in Nashville, Tennessee. Earlier this year on a trip to the lake house, Hurd popped the question to Morris while on a trip out on the canoe boat featured in the music video.

“This video means so much to me because this song is the story of how Maren and I met and fell in love. Returning back to my family’s lake house where Maren and I got engaged was really special. It’s cool to have such a special place, special person and special song all come together in one spot,” shares Hurd. “While the song is our story about falling in love in a bar, I love that we got to make a music video about what happened after that and hope that people can see their own love stories in these moments.”

“Love In A Bar” serves as the lead single from Hurd’s self-titled EP released earlier this year and offers fans a preview of the singer/songwriter’s forthcoming debut album. Heralded as “one to watch” by Pandora, Huffington Post and Billboard, Hurd broke through this year with his debut EP and his non-stop touring schedule delivering his new music live to fans across the country. In 2017, Hurd joined Florida Georgia Line on the 2017 Smooth Tour, Thomas Rhett on his Home Team Tour and Maren Morris on her HERO Tour. After CMA Awards week, Hurd returns to the road with Morris for the European leg of her THE HERO TOUR.

RYAN HURD RELEASES HIS FOURTH MUSIC VIDEO IN FOUR MONTHS

Singer/songwriter Ryan Hurd releases his FOURTH music video for the sincere “Hold You Back,” available everywhere today. The Ryan Hurd/Will Weatherly/Nicole Galyon co-written and Jeff Ray directed video was given its world premiere yesterday by CMT.

With the “Hold You Back” music video release, Hurd, who is touted as an artist to watch by The Huffington Post, VEVO, Rolling Stone Country and CMT, boasts FOUR music videos in FOUR months to his credit.

Hurd, who is no stranger to doing things his own way, has steadily released a new song to his ever-growing fan base every month via online streaming services, beginning this past September. About Hurd’s approach of releasing his new music Billboard says “…Hurd has been impressively attracting a variety of listeners, solidifying himself as an emerging artist-to-watch with each single he releases.”

Four months ago Hurd released his first song “We Do Us,” followed by a music video for the same song two weeks later. That began a self-release schedule that ran like clockwork. The next to come was “Love In A Bar,” in October, “City Girl” in November and now “Hold You Back” which hit the inter-webs in December. Right on schedule the music video is now available. Each song of the four collection has racked up between 3 to 7 million streams a piece.

Hurd hits the road in early February with Maren Morris on The HERO Tour 2017 with sold-out dates in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia and Athens, Ga. Later the same month, Hurd joins the star-studded lineup on Thomas Rhett’s 2017 Home Team Tour alongside Kelsea Ballerini and Russell Dickerson for a 15-show run ending with two sold-out nights at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheatre on April 20 & 21.
