DREW PARKER ANNOUNCED AS SIRIUSXM HIGHWAY FIND

This week on The Storme Warren Show, SiriusXM The Highway (ch. 56) announced Drew Parker as their newest 'Highway Find.' The Highway has been an avid supporter of Parker’s most recent single, “While You’re Gone” - adding it On The Horizon in September to great feedback from country fans across North America. On October 21, Parker will release an EP, fittingly titled While You’re Gone and featuring the hit-in-the-making single along with new music. "While You're Gone" can be listened to here.

“I moved to Nashville dreaming and praying for opportunities like this. Thanks to SiriusXM for believing in me as an artist and for believing in this song. I am honored to be a Highway Find alongside so many of my biggest influences before me. It’s been amazing to get feedback from country fans responding so well to this song, I can’t wait to see what the future holds,” says Parker.

Drew Parker has had a year to remember. The same week his baby girl was born, he had his first No. 1 as a writer with Jake Owen’s “Homemade'', which was recently awarded NSAI’s 10 Songs I Wish I’d Written. Having co-written multiple Luke Combs songs including, “1, 2 Many ft. Brooks and Dunn,” “Lonely One” and “Nothing Like You,” Parker is set to open for Combs on his “What You See Is What You Get” tour in 2021.

The ‘Highway Finds’ spotlight on SiriusXM’s The Highway channel is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to discovering, introducing and breaking new artists. Over the past decade, The Highway has helped to launch acts such as Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Maren Morris, Old Dominion, Sam Hunt and many others, as a part of the channel’s ‘Highway Finds’ feature.  Other past ‘Highway Finds’ artists include Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Chase Rice, Cole Swindell, Dan + Shay, Maddie and Tae, Maren Morris, and more.

KENTUCKY MUSIC HALL OF FAME MEMBERS, EXILE, FEATURED ON SIRIUSXM PRIME COUNTRY

Kentucky Music Hall of Fame members, Exile, joined host, Storme Warren, during a special Prime Country performance with SiriusXM subscribers sharing stories and songs on their most recent release, The Garage Tapes. The music takes listeners back to Exile’s hometown of Lexington, Kentucky and the very garage they re-purposed into a recording studio where their acclaimed musical journey began. The special airs on SiriusXM channel 58 online at https://player.siriusxm.com.

Wednesday 1/29 3 pm
Thursday 1/30 3 am and 9 pm
All times listed Eastern Standard Time

Exile has enjoyed much unexpected demand for the 30 song, two CD compilation released by Big Horse Records late summer 2019. Watch the video to learn more about The Garage Tapes from the voices that made the songs famous here.

“What fun this project has been. When we started, we really did not grasp the reaction fans and industry would have, as these songs are not fully produced,” shares Exile. “We are elated that people love sharing the journey with us and have embraced the music from our humble beginnings.”

“The liner notes with this project are superb. Forget Wikipedia. Leave Google alone. This is far better. These are words coming straight from the source. Some of the best liner notes I’ve seen in recent years. I’d love to keep telling you more fun factoids about Exile, but just buy the album. It’s 30 tracks of listening luxury. That’s not something you get everyday anymore.” Think Country - Patti McClintic

Capturing these songs from the original tapes required an intricate process and remastering to bring it up to current technical standards.

A little over forty years have passed and over 8 million records have been sold, including three Gold records and eleven number one hit songs, along with numerous hits on the pop and country chart since Exile band members, Steve Goetzman, Marlon Hargis, J.P. Pennington, Sonny LeMaire and Les Taylor began making music and gathering in a small garage in Lexington, Kentucky making demos of their songs. Until now these recordings have remained unheard by anyone outside the small circle of the band. These particular garage tapes were recorded between 1979 and 1982 at LEMCO studio in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Garage Tapes Track List:

The longest running American self-contained vocal group kicked off their “No Limits Tour” in 2018 while celebrating 40 years of their hit song Kiss You All Over which hit No. 1 in 1978 and stayed No. 1 for four weeks, charting for 23 weeks. The group  has sold over 8 million records, including three Gold records and eleven number one hit songs, along with numerous hits on the pop and country charts. HIT SONGWRITER BRYAN WAYNE FEATURED ON SIRIUSXM THE HIGHWAY BRINGING AWARENESS TO ALS THROUGH ALBUM “WHILE YOU WAIT”

Hit singer/songwriter, Bryan Wayne, best known for penning the debut hit single by Tommy Shane Steiner, “What If She's An Angel,” was recently featured on SiriusXM The Highway in an interview with on air host Storme Warren bringing awareness to ALS through his album, “While You Wait.”

Watch the video of the interview on demand here.

Bryan Wayne had to quickly learn to live out the lyrics from his single, “Simplify,” when he was diagnosed with terminal ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in 2017 and faced with the possibility of losing his ability to speak or sing, opted to keep a positive outlook and recorded his first ever full-length album, “While You Wait” dedicated to shed light and increase awareness to ALS. "I wanted to put my own voice on songs I have written, so that my wife and two boys, friends and family and who knows maybe even the world could hear me forever no matter what.”

“While You Wait” is available for streaming and download on all digital music platforms here.

“I have decided that instead of being angry and bitter about my diagnosis, I am going to take this opportunity to remind my friends and family how fleeting life is, and how important it is to appreciate every second,” stated Bryan Wayne. He shares inspiration and positive messages online at www.thegoodstuff.org “...a place where people can go when they just need to restore their faith in humanity…”

Bryan still fears what lies ahead, but he’s facing it with an omnipresent smile and an unparalleled grace that touches everyone he comes in contact with.

When Bryan began selecting songs from his catalog for his album, “While You Wait”, he took a different approach than most. He wasn't looking for a three minute up-tempo smash that everyone can party and dance to, although he has those in his catalog. He was looking for songs that connect, songs that would allow him to interact with those who face their own challenges and with those who love a song with a deeper, positive meaning.  Mostly, he wanted to provide his family with an eternal piece of his heart, and the sound of his voice.

TG SHEPPARD TO HOST NEW WEEKLY SHOW ON SIRIUSXM'S ELVIS RADIO

One of Billboard's "Greatest of All Time Top Country Artists", TG Sheppard has been tapped as the new on-air personality for SiriusXM's Elvis Radio on Channel 19.

The TG Sheppard Show will air weekly on Fridays from 3:00-6:00 p.m./ET, making its SiriusXM debut on July 5. The three-hour show will feature Sheppard spinning the best of Elvis, as he revisits his personal, behind-the-scenes memories that he shared with the King of Rock-n-Roll.

Sheppard will also visit with old friends of both he and Elvis. Guests will include some of the most iconic and legendary names in music.

"I am very excited for the opportunity to join the SiriusXM team on Elvis Radio," says Sheppard. "My record executive days with RCA and my association with Graceland through the years as well as my past friendships with my dear friend George Klein and Elvis made the decision to do a radio show on SiriusXM Elvis Radio channel 19 a natural one for me."

Sheppard first met Elvis when he was a 16-year-old runaway, out on his own and chasing his dream of becoming an artist. The two met one night at a skating rink in Memphis, where Elvis recruited some of his friends for a game of "kill" — basically football on skates. Elvis needed another man, and Sheppard was in the right place at the right time. Who would've thought that once-in-a-lifetime meeting would've sparked a lifelong friendship that lasted until Elvis' passing.

Years later, Sheppard was given the opportunity to work alongside his friend as head of southeast record promotion at RCA, which enabled him to travel on Elvis' tours. Later though, Sheppard was finally given the push he needed to pave his own career path — as an artist. Elvis gifted Sheppard with his first tour bus, giving him the confidence he needed to work even harder to breakout as an artist.

An artist to his core, Sheppard has banked 21 No. 1 songs throughout his tenure in music, and the country music legend isn't changing his ways any time soon. In-between his new on-air personality role, Sheppard will still be completing his first new country solo album in more than 20 years as well as fulfilling his already hectic touring schedule.

"Mixing radio along with my touring schedule will hopefully give me the chance to reach more people with everything that I'm doing and keep the legacies of my friends Elvis and George Klein always in the forefront," adds Sheppard.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (May 29, 2015) – Rising singer-songwriter Tyler Reeve is taking over SiriusXM The Highway’s “On The Horizon” show this weekend in celebration of his new single, "Come On Sunshine," being played on the satellite radio channel.

The hourlong “On the Horizon” will be played at noon on Saturday, then repeated seven times over the weekend. And that’s not the only chance to catch the exciting new voice in the near future. Reeve also will appear on “Hitting the Right Note,” a television special airing June 6 on WKRN. The special will be replayed at other Media General-owned stations across the nation this summer.

Reeve will also join Tracy Lawrence for a free outdoor fan appreciation show on June 9 at one of Nashville's favorite watering holes, Losers Bar and Grill parking lot.

Included on the album is a duet with Tritt’s 15-year-old daughter, Tyler Reese. The song, “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough,” is a cover of the 1980s pop hit. Together, they released a video for the track, which is available for viewing here. Four of the songs on the album, co-produced by Randy Jackson, were either written or co-written by Tritt. The Calm After… is currently available on iTunes and other major digital retailers.

Travis Tritt’s twenty-five year career has produced millions in album sales, two Grammy award wins and multiple No. 1 singles on the Country radio charts, including “Help Me Hold On,” “Anymore” and “Best of Intentions.”

Among his eleven studio albums and numerous charted singles are nineteen Top 10 hits including “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde,” “Love Of A Woman” and “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive.” Tritt formed Post Oak Recordings in 2012 and is currently on the road with his band performing dates across the United States.

As far as future plans, Tritt will release a live DVD later this year and he and Marty Stuart have an album in the works.

Brothers Brad (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Bryan (harmony vocals, bass guitar) and Curtis Rempel (harmony vocals, mandolin), all in their twenties, make up High Valley. The sibling trio initially found inspiration in the music of country music icons Alabama, Rascal Flatts, Diamond Rio and Shenandoah while growing up listening to their older sisters’ records. After sixteen years of touring and opening for the likes of superstars Little Big Town, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Reba McEntire in their northern homeland, Canadian CMA Awards reigning Interactive Artist of the Year winners High Valley just made their U.S. debut with the release of their EP Rescue You on November 19, wherever digital music is sold!
