"Most of us have been touched by it, a loved one, a friend, a co-worker dealing with this disease. Our desire to help comes from a real place, from real loss," said lead singer Ken Block. "It gives us the energy and ambition to fight back. We ARE fighting back! It's a personal mission of ours to foster and create events that are fun, cool, exciting, and ultimately meaningful to this vital cause. Together we can make a real difference."
Lyrics for Life has donated approximately $250k over the years to Gainesville's STOP Children's Cancer Charity. They have also benefited other Cancer Charities around the country including Children's Cancer Center of Tampa and Camp Sunshine in Atlanta.

“We Got It All Tonight,” was co-penned by award-winning songwriters Chris Destefano (Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan), Ashley Gorley (Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney), and Rodney Clawson (Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum). The video, directed by Savage Films Producer/Director Christian Breslauer, was shot around Tampa, FL and features the band performing live for the perfect backdrop to the song. Sister Hazel, who recently celebrated their second country Billboard charting album with "Unplugged From Daryl's House Club," is hitting the road this summer on the "We Got It All Tonight" tour playing fairs, festivals, and clubs nationwide. "We got it all Tonight" was one of the very first songs that stood out to us, it just screamed Sister Hazel," said Mark Trojanowski, Sister Hazel’s drummer. "It reminds me so much of one of our song called "Change Your Mind." We started playing this song live and even before we recorded it, fans were already getting into the song singing the lyrics back. It only made sense for it to be on the record. We are really excited about how it turned out and hope fans really like it."
