WILL HOGE ANNOUNCES UK TOUR DATES FOR SEPTEMBER 2015

Upcoming Trek Marks First-Ever Full Band Tour in the UK
SMALL TOWN DREAMS Hits Top 5 on iTunes Country Albums Chart

Nashville, TN (April 14, 2015) – Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Will Hoge is making his first-ever full band trek to the United Kingdom for seven headline tour dates across Scotland and England, beginning in September. Touring in support of his newest album SMALL TOWN DREAMS, the project is already garnering rave reviews and launched into the Top 5 on iTunes Country Albums chart. SMALL TOWN DREAMS is available now in the US and slated to be released to fans in the UK on June 15.

Media critics and fans alike have been buzzing about the exciting new release of SMALL TOWN DREAMS with ROLLING STONE COUNTRY lauding the 10th studio album as one that "breaks down country doors…most satisfying album yet" and CMT calling it a "masterful piece of work that takes the simple beauty of everyday life and delivers it to the listener in a way we’ve never heard it before." Taking note of Hoge's real-life storytelling, MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL praises Hoge's style and craft, "plenty of country stars have tried to emulate the blue-collar ethos of the likes of Bruce Springsteen. It takes real grind-it-out living to capture the experience, and few in the modern Nashville realm have done so as successfully as Will Hoge.”

For years, I’ve wanted to bring the band over and play full shows in the UK. I'm excited now for folks to see the live show and hear the new album,” says Hoge.

The UK edition of the tour will make its first appearance at The Stables in Milton Keynes on September 4 and continue to stop at venues including the O2 ABC 2 in Glasgow, Bush Hall in London and more.

UK Tour Dates Include:

9/4 – The Stables - Milton Keynes, England

9/5 – The Picture House - Sheffield, England

9/7 – O2 ABC 2 - Glasgow, Scotland

9/8 – Night & Day - Manchester, England

Nashville, TN (April 9, 2015) – Critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Will Hoge celebrated the release of his 10th studio album SMALL TOWN DREAMS launching to #5 on the iTunes Country Albums chart with a live performance last night for a packed house at Grimey’s Too in Nashville.

Fans crowded inside the venue for Hoge's intimate, full-band acoustic set which included lead single “Middle Of America,” “Growing Up Around Here,” “Little Bitty Dreams” and more from the new album. Following the show, he met with fans and signed autographs.

Capping off the night, the Grammy nominated hit-maker headed to Nashville venue, The Rosewall, to perform for Sirius XM’s “Heroes Behind The Hits,” which will be hitting the airwaves in the coming weeks.

The Nashville native is kicking off the first leg of his SMALL TOWN DREAMS Tour 2015 in Tallahassee, FL tomorrow (4/10) with upcoming shows in Birmingham, AL (4/21), Charlotte, NC (4/22), Asheville, NC (4/23) and Columbia, SC (4/24).

SMALL TOWN DREAMS is an authentic, genuine character story and depiction of small town life. After producing several albums on his own, Hoge handed the reins to producer Marshall Altman (Frankie Ballard, Eric Paslay, Matt Nathanson). This project follows NEVER GIVE IN, which features his wildly popular song “Strong.” Selected as the musical backdrop for General Motor’s 2014 Chevy Silverado ad campaign, "Strong" sold well over 200,000 copies. Breaking into mainstream country, the talented songwriter penned Lady Antebellum's “Better Off Now (That You’re Gone),” and co-wrote the Platinum-selling #1 smash “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” recorded by the Eli Young Band. Catapulting Hoge into the national spotlight, “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” earned nominations for the 2013 GRAMMY Country Song of the Year, 2013 ACM Song of the Year and 2012 CMA Song of the Year.

"I think it is the most representative of not only who I am as an artist but where I’m from. I think every song from the record is deeply inspired by growing up in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee, and watching this area grow and change and become something that it wasn’t 25 years ago,” shares Hoge. “And, I feel like as an artist, kinda I’ve gone through that same transformation. So I feel like it’s literally in my blood and it all came out on this record and I’m super excited for people to be able to to take that journey with us musically.”

For SMALL TOWN DREAMS, the GRAMMY-nominated artist teamed up with producer Marshall Altman (Marc Broussard, Eric Paslay, Frankie Ballard) for the first time. Producing his last three albums himself, Hoge was inspired to pass the reins to Altman after years of friendship and admiration. A writer on each of the 11 tracks on the project, Hoge collaborated with hit-makers Jessi Alexander, Chris Stapleton, Gary Allan, Hillary Lindsey and more.

The driving lead single “Middle Of America” - now climbing the Country radio charts - was released to rave reviews from music critics, radio, and fans alike. Rolling Stone Country lauded the tune recorded at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, “with echoes of Mellencamp, both sonically and in its ‘Jack & Diane’ depiction of small town life, ‘Middle Of America’ is both relatable and reassuring.”

Fans can get in on the action early with the album pre-sale, including merch bundles and a limited edition print, now available on www.willhoge.com.
