SAVED BY GRACE: SPOTIFY PLAYLIST

Sometimes in this chaotic changing world, we need a reminder that there is something bigger than all of us and a little personal forgiveness. Regardless of how you believe, it never hurts to have faith and believe that there is something better out there for each of us.

We need to be reminded of the goodness that surrounds us regardless of how dark it might seem.

Here is a playlist of songs that always seem to have a way of bringing me back to that place and I thought I'd share it with you in case someone needs it.

DEAR DADS, THIS "MIXTAPE" IS FOR YOU: SPOTIFY PLAYLIST FOR FATHER'S DAY

Father's Day is coming up quickly, this Sunday, June 19. Thank you to the fathers out there and to those who have stepped up to the role in the absence of biological fathers. Thank you for the love, the shelter, the trust, the warnings, the "loans" we never could afford to repay, the lessons, the "how to drive a stick shift" experience, the singing in the car, the whippings when we needed them, the late night pacing when we didn't come home on time, the comfort after having our hearts broken and the struggles you endured so your families wouldn't have to. Sunday is your day. We love you and appreciate all of you. These songs are for you.

You might wanna grab some Kleenex.

CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY - GRAMMY AWARD WINNING SONGWRITER, ARTIST AND PRODUCER, FRANK MYERS ANNOUNCES SPOTIFY RELEASE OF NEW HOLIDAY SINGLE, “IF EVERY DAY COULD BE CHRISTMAS”

Pre-save “If Every Day Could Be Christmas” on Spotify https://orcd.co/dj0y1x0

With many #1 award-winning songs to his credit, Grammy award winning songwriter, artist and producer, Frank Myers, announces the Spotify release for “If Every Day Could Be Christmas.” The new holiday song, tagged as a new Christmas Classic, will be released on all digital music platforms on Nov. 5. The feel good tune was written by Frank J Myers, Gary Baker and Anthony Little, Produced by Jimmy Nichols and Frank Myers in Nashville at Horse Tracks and Starstruck studios with mastering by Andrew Mendelson at Georgetown Masters.

The official video in support of the project was filmed on location at Roberts Christmas Wonderland and Clear Tracks Studio in Clearwater, Florida and produced by Dave Geralds for Mandalay Video Productions with additional video footage and still photography by Bill McClintic of 90 East Photography.

“To me, there is not a more magical time of the year than at Christmas! People are more loving, caring and giving than any other time. If we could just carry that feeling “all through the year” I think the world would be a much better place,” expressed Frank Myers.

“I thoroughly enjoyed making this little piece of Christmas magic with Frank,” shared co-producer Jimmy Nichols. “I hope every time it plays, it brings the world a little closer to peace and love.”

“Christmas lights up the city
Rooftops covered in snow
Lover’s sharing a sleigh ride cuddled close and their eyes seem to glow
Window shopping on main street
Bundled up head to toe
Children ice skating ‘round a Christmas tree I see smiles young and old
If every day could be Christmas
What a wonderful world it would be
We could carry this feeling within us all through the year
If every day could be Christmas
Church bells ring in the distance
Peace on earth fills the air
Sidewalk Santas handing out candy candes
I feel love everywhere
If every day could be Christmas
What a wonderful world it would be
We could carry this feeling within us all through the year
If every day could be Christmas
It’s that time
We open up and give from our hearts
And let love shine brighter than any star”

SONGS YOU SHOULD BE LISTENING TO - FRIDAY, JUNE 25

Some good stuff available at digital outlets everywhere this week - check 'em out and #sharethemusic! If you are able to leave a review on the outlet you use, please do so and let them know how you like the song. These reviews are so helpful to an artist and their team. If you don't like the song, be constructive in your review, not rude. The point is to help these artists, not discourage. And yes, I know there are LOTS of good songs that have been released the past week or two and they're not all listed here. What I choose to list are songs by artists that aren't saturating corporate country radio but are just as good, if not better, than those that are and artists that don't get the push they should.

Be sure to check out the artist's websites and find out more about them and the latest tour dates. Connect with them on social media.
