RISING NORTH CAROLINA TROUBADOUR ELI WINDERS IS BACK WITH “ANOTHER LOVE”

Rising Country singer-songwriter Eli Winders returns today with his poignant new single, “Another Love,” available now via Atlantic Records/Bad Realm Records here. The track is already proving a fan favorite on the North Carolina-based artist’s TikTok with over 5 MILLION total views prior to release.

“I wrote ‘Another Love’ in early 2022,” shared Winders. “It was one of the first songs I wrote that I thought was good enough for people to hear, now two years later and it’s finally coming out. At the time I wanted to write the saddest song I could and that was what I came up with. It quickly became a fan favorite on social media, and I am so excited for everyone to hear the full song.”

Winders will celebrate “Another Love” with an eagerly awaited run of live dates including appearances at Nashville, TN’s CMA Fest 2024 (including a Meet & Greet in Fan Fair X on Thursday, June 6 at 10:00am and a performance on the Hard Rock Stage Friday, June 7 at 6:15pm), and the Outeroo Galactic Giddy Up at Manchester, TN’s Bonnaroo (June 13-16). In addition, a very special homecoming headline show is slated for Kenansville, NC’s Duplin County Events Center on July 26 opening for Tracy Byrd. For complete details, please visit www.eliwinders.com.

Born and raised in the heartland of North Carolina, 19-year-old Winders is a classic yet fresh voice in Country music. After only having access to music through the radio until his teens, Winders’ musical exploration truly began when he received a phone for his 16th birthday – a gift that opened the door to streaming music for the first time. As he delved into a rich tapestry of melodies and lyrics, he found himself captivated by the timeless sounds of Country music’s golden era and wanting to write songs of his own.

Throughout 2022, Winders dedicated his days to working in a feed mill, attending college classes at night, and scribbling song ideas between it all. His first breakthrough arrived when he began sharing his musical talents online. By posting heartfelt covers and soul-stirring original songs, Winders quickly gained an enthusiastic following, drawing in listeners with his genuine artistry and Carolina charm. Recognizing the young artist’s exceptional talent and commitment to his craft, Atlantic/Bad Realm Records fulfilled a dream for Winders, swiftly signing him to their roster.

Last summer saw Winders making his Atlantic/Bad Realm debut with the bittersweet “Pack My Hometown.” Recorded in Nashville with producer/co-writer Eric Arjes (Tim McGraw, Kane Brown, Eli Young Band), the deeply moving track – which was heralded in a series of TikTok teasers that amassed over 2.5 MILLION views – is joined by an official music video streaming now here. “Pack My Hometown” was met by instant applause from such outlets as Countrypolitan Magazine, which raved, “‘Pack My Hometown’ has all the hallmarks of a great song: heartfelt lyrics, rich acoustic foundation, and an emotive, moving vocal performance. There’s no telling what else Eli Winders has in store, and we just can’t wait to hear what he does next.”

A string of singles have followed, including “Two Wheel Drive Cowboy” and the heartwarming “Carolina Blue,” both of which saw a swift rise in popularity across social media, as did evocative acoustic covers of songs by The Red Clay Strays, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Caamp, and more streaming now at YouTube. Recent months have also seen Winders hitting the road for a wide range of live dates highlighted by shows alongside such artists as Conner Smith, Tanner Usrey, Zach Top, and more. Now, with “Another Love” and more new music to come, Winders’ musical journey has truly begun in earnest.

EMMY RUSSELL, AMERICAN IDOL TOP 5 FINALIST, RELEASES "REDEMPTION" TODAY

Stream or Download “Redemption” Here

American Idol season 22 finalist Emmy Russell has released her original song “Redemption” today. A hushed whisper that works its way into a complete explosion of self-expressed freedom, the hooky tune celebrates the best kind of love one can possibly hope for: the love of oneself.

Written by Russell, along with Lauren McLamb and Rob Sewell, the meditative song finds the singer-songwriter reflecting on a trying past relationship and, more specifically, is a deep dive into how she’s come to find self-love and acceptance amid turmoil.

“I wrote 'Redemption' because I process life through music and this song is what came out of a painful breakup,” Russell says. “There was a time when I placed all my value in someone else's hands. But, eventually, I had to realize I was constantly being tossed between 'I love you' and 'I don't love you,’ I wrote this song with Lauren McLamb & Rob Sewell. This song represents my decision to no longer be the person you come back to when it’s convenient. My telling him 'it’s over,'. I found my redemption in being alone and admitting to myself, 'I don’t deserve this,' which lead me to a door I’d been craving to open… I finally realized my worth by looking to God, then letting the truth that 'I am loved,' sink in. Now I know, no guy, nor anyone else, can take that away from me. I am loved and, now, that’s my redemption.”

A 25-year-old Nashville native, Russell – a descendant of music royalty as the granddaughter of the late country legend Loretta Lynn – became an instant fan-favorite on Idol following the viral audition performance of her evocative, self-penned and incredibly revealing song “skinny.”

The winner of American Idol will be announced on May 19.

AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 22 FINALIST WILL MOSELEY RELEASES ORIGINAL SONG “GOOD BOOK BAD” TODAY

Stream or download "Good Book Bad" Here

American Idol season 22 finalist Will Moseley has released his original song “Good Book Bad” today.

A spirited and heartfelt tale of redemption, the deeply-felt song with a decidedly classic country sound is concocted with the perfect recipe: honesty, forthrightness and supreme melody.

Written by Jordan Walker, Lalo Guzman and Thomas Archer, “Good Book Bad” — a narrative-driven song of second chances amid life’s turbulent ride — instantly spoke to the husky voiced troubadour: as soon as Moseley heard the demo, he felt a deeply personal connection to the song’s resonant message.

“‘Good Book Bad’ is a song that just instantly connects,” says Moseley. “From the first time I heard a demo of the song I knew the guys that wrote it had something very special, and I was honored to be a part of it. It’s a song that takes you through bad decisions, unexpected blessings, and the trials of life while always reminding you where the answers are found. I’ve had friends in these exact situations and have had my fair share of screw-ups and I think that’s what makes the song so special to me.”

A 23-year-old Georgia native with a raspy drawl and a soulful delivery, Moseley is a finalist on American Idol season 22. A former collegiate football player, Moseley first picked up the guitar while attending his alma mater, Georgia Southern University.

The winner of American Idol will be announced on May 19.

COLIN STOUGH CAN'T GET AN EX OFF HIS MIND IN THE OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR "MAKES TWO OF US"

“The music video for ‘Makes Two of Us’ is about how your mind keeps wandering to your ex after a breakup. So, in the clip, you see these two characters living their daily lives while constant flashes of memories between them keep happening,” shares Stough. “It shows how often you’re just doing whatever, yet you find yourself completely lost in thought – thinking about the other person. It starts happening so often that you get to a point where you’re just kind of like, ‘Well, if I can’t get ‘em off my mind, what could it hurt to just go there again?’”

Directed by David Dutton with DP Alan Fisher, the Mississippi native stepped back into a real-life job he had during high school as a welder for the footage shot at Glenn Machine Works in Columbus, MS. The strong visuals add to the explosive temptation of the on-again-off-again romance as depicted in the roller-coaster lyrics penned by Stough with Alex Maxwell and Cole Taylor. Intrusive thoughts capture a conflicted heart caught in a feedback loop of heartbreak and loneliness, and about to give in just one more time.

Showcasing a complex artist-writer who continues to hone his lyrical craftsmanship, the pitch-black production from Maxwell further helps put the growing urge in sonic terms – while also eclipsing the power of Stough’s Promiseland EP debut. With a heavy-handed Rock foundation, distorted guitars thunder alongside pounding drums and streaks of steel guitar lightning, but Stough weaves in tender moments to explore the emotional conflict as well – all while his volcanic Southern vocal fights confusing signals. On the one hand, he should resist what’s surely the start of another toxic cycle. But on the other, the craving for connection is real, and, hopefully, coming from both sides. Listen here.

With more new music promised soon, Stough’s stacking music festival appearances this summer like CMA Fest 2024 on June 8 on the Hard Rock Stage in Nashville, TN. The same day, the Season 21 finalist on American Idol will also join a program at Fan Fair X inside Music City Center on the CMA Close Up Stage for “Idol Hour with Chayce Beckham, HunterGirl, Colin Stough and ‘American Idol’ ‘24 Winner and Runner-Up.” Find additional details here.

QUINN BAUDUCCO, SENIOR MANAGER, BUSINESS & LEGAL AFFAIRS, BMG; JOJAMIE HAHR, EVP, RECORDED MUSIC, BMG NASHVILLE

Hitmaking duo LOCASH is adding a whole new dimension to their independently minded Country universe, announcing the formation of Galaxy Label Group.

Distributed by BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and featuring LOCASH as the first act signed, the new Galaxy Label Group was revealed last night at the 2024 Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, and officially announced via Billboard (2/28). Read the story here.

Named for the infinite possibilities the pair envision, Galaxy Label Group will allow LOCASH’s Preston Brust and Chris Lucas to begin a bold new creative chapter, while also extending the spirit of Country brotherhood at the core of PLATINUM smash “I Love This Life” and GOLD, #1 hits “One Big Country Song” and “I Know Somebody” to a new constellation of artists.

"Launching our own record label has been a part of our plan since day one,” explains Brust. “And with the ever-changing landscape of modern music, now is the perfect time. As seasoned artists, it's really important for us to do what we know how to do and do it well. Confidently moving forward with creative control is the natural next step for us."

Lucas adds, “I haven’t been this excited since moving to Nashville years ago! With the relationships we’ve built in the industry along the way, it’s time we add a new chapter to the LOCASH book. We are in control of ourselves as artists and are ready to help aspiring artists as well as the songwriters succeed in today’s music world.”

Built as a natural extension of the LOCASH artistic vision, Galaxy Label Group will help guide the duo into a new musical era while allowing Brust and Lucas to pay it forward as mentors, creating the space for other unique artists and sharing the ideals of Country togetherness and unbound creativity.

Launching in partnership with music industry veterans Skip Bishop and Butch Waugh’s Studio2Bee Entertainment, Galaxy Label Group has key executive staff in place with more artists to be added to the roster.

“We're extremely grateful to Jon Loba and his executive team for helping us create such a modern, forward-thinking and artist/writer-friendly distribution arrangement,” says Bishop of Studio2Bee Entertainment. “It's this kind of imaginative insight that will elevate the level of shared success."

In celebration of the new label, LOCASH has been in studio working on their next project, with their first single “Hometown Home” expected for release this spring.

CHARLES ESTEN MAKES DEBUT ALBUM PERFORMANCE ON NBC’S THE KELLY CLARKSON SHOW

TV PREMIERE OF “WHEN LOVE AIN’T LOVE” FROM ACCLAIMED FULL-LENGTH INDEPENDENT PROJECT
CELEBRATES "LOVE AIN’T PRETTY"
HEADLINING SOLD-OUT SHOW AT NASHVILLE’S EXIT/IN

KEVIN JAMES (GUEST), RENATA NOTNI (GUEST),
CHARLES ESTEN (GUEST), KELLY CLARKSON

Multi-talented entertainer Charles Esten brought his acclaimed independent debut album, "Love Ain’t Pretty", to NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show yesterday (1/29) for the rocking television premiere performance of “When Love Ain’t Love.” Written by Esten and Jeffrey East, listen to the cautionary tale of a romantic fallout produced by Marshall Altman here.

After his headline-making appearance last spring in Los Angeles, Esten made a coast-to-coast reunion with host Kelly Clarkson for a sit-down chat about the long-awaited full-length project alongside fellow guests Kevin James and Renata Notni in New York City. He also connected onscreen with Clarkson’s “Rad Human,” 15-year-old cancer survivor and inspiring singer Elana Koenig. With personal connections to childhood cancer after his daughter Addie survived leukemia when she was 2 ½ years old, Esten was moved to invite Koenig to perform at his 11th Annual Light the Late Night benefit concert in the fall. Serving as the National Honorary Spokesperson for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Esten’s “Team Addie” has surpassed over $2.2 MILLION in cumulative funds raised over the last 10 years. Watch the sweet surprise on NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show here.

Featured by Parade, Cowboys & Indians, CMT, and more, Esten’s "Love Ain’t Pretty" is being lauded by critics everywhere:

“the album is the purest representation of his artistry possible.” – GRAMMY.com

“being his true self has brought some of Esten’s biggest success, and that same spirit now
powers a remarkable debut album.” – Nashville Lifestyles

“loose, rough-cut country” – Billboard

"An emotionally connective album” – The Tennessean

“charismatic creator” – MusicRow

“Esten dares to get deep” – American Songwriter

“Written with the wisdom and breadth that comes with time, Esten captures the dimensions of love, loss, growth, and hope.” – Forbes

Esten celebrated "Love Ain’t Pretty" with a SOLD-OUT first-time headlining concert at Nashville’s Exit/In for his album release show (1/26). Playing songs from the 14-track compilation (co-writing all with acoustic guitar credits), he further surprised the jam-packed house with a pop-up from former Nashville co-star Sam Palladio. With a follow-up appearance Saturday (1/27) during his 169th performance at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, he then took the Whiskey Jam stage for the 13th Anniversary show last night (1/29) at Nashville’s Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row.

CHARLES ESTEN FUELS EXCITEMENT FOR DEBUT ALBUM WITH TWO NEW RELEASES: “MAKE YOU HAPPY” + “WHEN LOVE AIN’T LOVE”

With his highly anticipated independent debut album, Love Ain’t Pretty, out January 26, multi-talent Charles Esten reveals the true dichotomy of matters of the heart with two new releases from the full-length project. Available now across all streaming platforms and digital retailers, listen to “Make You Happy” and “When Love Ain’t Love” here.

Both co-written by Esten, as his pen is credited on all 14 songs on Love Ain’t Pretty, “Make You Happy” – written by Esten, Gary Burr, and Jon D’Agostino – finds a stand-up guy lost in love. Soaked in an irresistibly romantic and restless desire, Esten offers a playful proposition with a hard to resist spirit. Produced by Marshall Altman with an upbeat mix of honky-tonk, beachy Doo-Wop and funky Soul, “Make You Happy” also features a bouncy Caribbean beat and a touch of whirring organ, plus Esten’s love-drunk vocal and a spirit-lifting hook. All along, he promises not to ask for the world – just to see a smile.

Like the album title suggests, “When Love Ain’t Love” – written by Esten and Jeffrey East – taps into the opposing side of love, as it explores the slow-motion unraveling of a relationship. Serving as a cautionary tale of a romantic fallout and the inevitably hard truths that accompany it, the Altman-produced confessional boasts Esten’s raw vocal cutting through the ‘80s Rock atmosphere, with reverb-soaked guitars that further create the woozy, disoriented feeling of a world turned upside down. The steady back beat continues to pound on like a desperate heart, hoping things might one day turn around, even through the stark resignation of the final chorus lyric: “When it ain’t like before, but there ain’t no because. Love ain’t love no more. It just is what it is, when it ain’t what it was.”

Vividly detailed and filled with the emotional daring of a celebrated storyteller – both onscreen and onstage – Esten dives into wide-ranging themes of earth-shattering romance, big-picture reflection, and beyond, in Love Ain’t Pretty. Spotlighted as the High Note in Nashville Lifestyles’ The Music Issue on stands now, the diverse and richly textured full-length project was also just featured by GRAMMY.com and Parade. In addition, it’s been spotted on anticipated albums of 2024 lists by The Tennessean, STEREOGUM, Men’s Journal, and Taste of Country. More than 10 years in the making, Esten explores life, love, and the passing of time through the lens of a traveled and tested everyman, who has never lost his innate sense of wonder, or his wide-open soul, with a rollout of already released songs including “One Good Move,” “A Little Right Now,” “In A Bar Somewhere,” “Down The Road (feat. Eric Paslay),” and “Somewhere In The Sunshine.”

Come join Charles and celebrate "Love Ain’t Pretty" with an album release show at Exit/In on January 26 - limited tickets are remaining. Fans can purchase here.

COLIN STOUGH KEEPS THE FAITH WITH “I STILL TALK TO JESUS (ACOUSTIC)”

STRIPPED-DOWN RENDITION OF A FAN-FAVORITE IS OUT NOW!
NEXT SET TO HIT THE ROAD WITH CHASE MATTHEW

Available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers, listen here.

19 Recordings/BMG artist Colin Stough starts the new year off with a powerful message of resilience, as he offers up a fresh rendition of one of his biggest hits with “I Still Talk To Jesus (Acoustic).”

A Country-Rock ballad of unshakable hope, “I Still Talk To Jesus” was originally part of Stough’s standout time on ABC’s American Idol in 2022. Eventually finishing third on Season 21, Stough released the aching anthem alongside his fellow Top 5 finalists, showing fans a moving example of inner toughness – and one heart’s weary-yet-determined refusal to give up on love.

Produced by Sean Rogers, Stough’s new acoustic take of the track further highlights that message. Using only guitar to back his dynamic Mississippi vocal, the rising star dials down his million-watt intensity for a captivating blend of wounded soul and falsetto grit, cutting straight to heart of one of his most popular songs. Meanwhile, a raw performance of the all-natural track – penned by Stough, Sean Thomas Rogers, and Francisco Martin – was captured and edited by Mike Rodway.

“I wanted to share this track to start the new year off right!” Stough says. “This was one of my biggest songs last year and a fan-favorite, so I hope everyone enjoys this acoustic take. It’s just one of them records where the words cut deep, and I think this version really lets ‘em shine.”

WATCH THE VIDEO FOR "I STILL TALK TO JESUS (ACOUSTIC)" BELOW

“I Still Talk To Jesus (Acoustic)” follows the recent release of “Sleep Tonight (Acoustic)” – another reimagined favorite revealing Stough’s heartfelt lyricism – and a gravelly rendition of the Elvis Presley holiday classic, “Blue Christmas.”

In October 2023, the emerging artist released his six-track debut EP, Promiseland, and has since captured the attention of both critics and fans alike. Country Now praises, “Promiseland showcases a deep level of honesty and authenticity,” as they further named him among their Country Next: Artists To Watch In 2024 list. Likewise, Stough made Holler’s New and Upcoming Country and Americana Artists You Need to Know roundup, hailing that he’s a “singer who was born to do this,” with a voice that’s “equally at home singing grungy Southern rock as it is twangy old school country.”

Spending last year headlining while also supporting artists like Kidd G and Drake White, he’s next on deck with Chase Matthew starting in February. Find upcoming show dates here.

DRAKE WHITE CELEBRATES HIS WIFE IN HEARTWARMING “MAKIN’ ME LOOK GOOD AGAIN (WEDDING EDITION)” VIDEO

FEATURING REAL FOOTAGE OF THE COUPLE’S WEDDING, THE TRACK AND VIDEO SHINE A LIGHT ON SUPPORTIVE PARTNERS EVERYWHERE

Country-Soul troubadour Drake White celebrates supportive partners everywhere in the new music video for “Makin’ Me Look Good Again (Wedding Edition),” releasing a heartwarming real-world clip today (11/3).

Basking in the glow of true love’s grace, the deeply personal video features footage from White and his wife Alex’s wedding ceremony in 2014, and finds the singer-songwriter spotlighting his own behind-the-scenes hero – a woman who has meant so much to his life, especially in recent years.

Written by White with Monty Criswell and Shane Minor, the romantic track was originally released on White’s 2016 album debut, SPARK, but has since found renewed meaning. A new, stripped-down edition was included on White’s EP, 'The Bridge' (released 10/6), and as White continues to recover from a life-altering onstage stroke suffered in 2019, he says the song’s theme has evolved.

“The original edition came out seven years ago, and since then, the inspiration for this song, my wife Alex, has certainly made me look good again,” White tells CMT. “She helped me walk again, gave birth to our child, and started her own business. She continues to be one of the finest examples of a lady and love on this beautiful planet. She loves me for me, and she loves the simplicity of this edition. This is an offering to her and all the people out there making the world look good again.”

White also spoke about the track’s new spirit with All Country News, and now, its video will help viewers lift up their own unsung better halves.

Marking the video’s official release on YouTube, White joined fans live for a Q&A, chat and more before "Makin’ Me Look Good Again (Wedding Edition)" officially premiered.

Enhancing White’s 'The Bridge' EP, the project features a total of seven songs filled with inspiration, love and conviction. Co-writing each one with a cast that includes Maren Morris, Ryan Hurd, Leslie Satcher and more, White delivers a set combining all-new tracks with reimagined versions of fan favorites, plus a collaboration with GRAMMY Award winner Colbie Caillat.

Four years after recovering from an on-stage stroke, Country-Soul artist-songwriter Drake White hosts his first ever sold-out charity concert “Benefit for the Brain” at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Monday night (8/28). Performances from White and other friends including Riley Green, Randy Houser and Jamey Johnson, PLUS a surprise appearance from Colbie Caillat, lit up the Mother Church of Country music.

White kicked off the night with a medley of songs including “The Coast Is Clear,” the song White was unable to finish performing four years ago on stage in Roanoke, VA due to his stroke. He told his inspiring account of the story to the crowd before singing and finished by stating he would make it through the song tonight.

DRAKE WHITE

More special moments graced the packed-out pews last night, including Jamey Johnson inviting Riley Green on stage to sing Johnson’s 2008 award-winning hit, “In Color.” GRAMMY-winning artist and White’s good friend, Colbie Caillat surprised the audience for a special duet of White’s compelling
“Power of a Woman.” And White delivered a delicately booming stripped down acoustic version of “The Optimystic” to a captivated audience resulting in a standing ovation.

White explained to the audience, “After my stroke all I wanted to do was get back to the stage. This is what I was born to do, and this is what God put me on Earth to do. To stand on this Ryman stage and host this charity concert.”

In total, “Benefit for the Brain” raised over a whopping $253,000 with proceeds benefitting 501(c)(3) organizations CreatiVets, Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee and the Miracle Hope Foundation. These organizations were hand-picked to reflect the three specific pillars White was focused on benefiting: military personnel and their families with a focus on PTSD and other related issues; child and adolescent brain health; and progressive research into alternative brain and stroke treatments.

The audience heard inspiring stories from special guest speakers throughout the night. Having performed seven brain surgeries on White, Nashville-based neurosurgeon Dr. Mericle, was the first guest speaker of the night, who was followed by Beth Torres from Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. Other guests included Ed Clay, founder of Cellular Performance Institute, and Richard Casper who co-founded a non-profit for wounded veterans, CreatiVets. The heartfelt evening was emceed by Miles Adcox, founder of Onsite a wellness organization focused on life-changing therapeutic framework.

#COUNTRYGIVESBACK - DRAKE WHITE ANNOUNCES INSPIRATIONAL “BENEFIT FOR THE BRAIN” CONCERT FEATURING RANDY HOUSER, RILEY GREEN, JAMEY JOHNSON AND MORE

SET FOR AUGUST 28 AT NASHVILLE’S RYMAN AUDITORIUM

PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT RESEARCH AND SUPPORT NETWORKS IN THE FIELD OF BRAIN AND MENTAL HEALTH

Four years after surviving his own traumatic brain injury, Drake White looks to support and inspire “the battle between your ears” with a new charity concert.

Announcing his “Benefit for the Brain,” White and a star-studded cast of fellow performers will share the stage for one night only at Nashville’s famous Ryman Auditorium on August 28.

Seeking to advance research and support networks in the field of brain and mental health, White will lead a lineup which already features Randy Houser, Riley Green and Jamey Johnson, plus more special guests from the worlds of Country, Rock and Americana who will be announced soon.

Through his Big Fire Fund 501(c)(3) charity organization, all proceeds raised will be gifted to a handpicked slate of benefit partners representing three pillars: military personnel and their families with a focus on PTSD and other related issues, child and adolescent brain health, and progressive research into alternative brain and stroke treatments.

A cause near and dear to White, brain health became important to the acclaimed entertainer after suffering a stroke and collapsing onstage in 2019, being subsequently diagnosed with Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM). The rare vascular disorder forced him to relearn how to do almost everything – including playing guitar and singing – but White has since returned to the life he loves and is determined to help others battle their own brain issues. White recently gave The Tennessean an exclusive interview on his fundraising event, "Benefit for the Brain." Read the full story here.

“This will be a night of music and conversation shining light on brain and mental health,” White explains. “Through music and community, our goal is to raise awareness and resources to foster innovation in adolescent brain health, empower veterans and their families, and bridge the gap between alternative medicine and public perception. Together, we hope to inspire a community of understanding, improve quality of life, and give courage to face the battle between your ears.”

News of the empowering benefit concert comes at the start of a brand-new creative chapter for White, who released his heartfelt new single “Spirit” at the end of June. A swaying traveler’s anthem with a hard-won sense of inner peace, the track was co-written by White with Leslie Satcher and Phil Pence, and marks the first taste of an upcoming project.

TRACE ADKINS DEBUTS INSPIRING “SOMEWHERE IN AMERICA” MUSIC VIDEO

This Fourth of July holiday, MULTI-PLATINUM entertainer and TV/film actor Trace Adkins captures the spirit of the U.S.A., exclusively premiering the official video for his single “Somewhere In America” across CMT, CMT Music, and CMT.com today (7/7). Airing every hour during morning video hours and throughout the day on CMT Music, the inspiring clip will also broadcast directly into the heart of New York City, on Paramount’s Times Square billboard at 12pm and 5pm EST. Check out the music video here.

Directed by Mike Stryker and co-produced by Stryker and Andrew Rozario, the video was filmed on location at Adkins’ “SOMEWHERE IN AMERICA: A Concert For Mayfield” presented by KIOTI Tractor, which took place on May 20. Helping lift up this Western Kentucky region after a deadly 2021 tornado claimed more than 50 lives and displaced thousands from their homes, Adkins shines a light on the rebuilding of Mayfield and a resilient community that is getting back to living.

In the clip, Adkins leads a massive crowd at Mayfield High School’s CFSB War Memorial Stadium, as they celebrate the bonds no disaster can break. Featuring vignettes of the community coming together, strangers becoming neighbors and the true American spirit on full display, it was a concert that embodied the heart still found “Somewhere In America” – with Adkins providing the soundtrack. For a special behind-the-scenes look at the Mayfield concert and music video, check out the segment on CMT Hot 20 here.

“It seems like over the last couple years we could have picked a lot of places,” Adkins explains to CMT’s Cody Alan. “I think Mayfield is representative of all those communities that have had to come together in light of these terrible storms. We just wanted to come in here and give them a pat on the back and say, ‘There are people out there that haven’t forgotten about you.’ That’s what I was hoping to do.”

“Somewhere In America” was written by Jon Nite, Hunter Phelps, Michael Hardy, and Zach Crowell, and appears on Adkins’ widely acclaimed 25th anniversary, 25-song album, THE WAY I WANNA GO (Verge Records). Produced by Mickey Jack Cones and Derek George, its lyrics are dedicated to the strength of small-town America, celebrating the unshakeable hope of dreamers everywhere – which Adkins continues to champion.

Adkins’ ongoing nationwide SOMEWHERE IN AMERICA 2023 TOUR finds him headlining in cities all across the U.S. through the end of the year. With upcoming stops in Iowa, California, New York, and Wisconsin, more dates will be announced soon. For tour dates and ticket information, click here.

#NEWMUSIC - CHARLES ESTEN'S “IN A BAR SOMEWHERE” OUT NOW

ANTICIPATION BUILDS WITH THE DELIVERY OF HIS THIRD SONG OFF DEBUT ALBUM
TO PERFORM ON PBS’ A CAPITOL FOURTH LIVE FROM THE WEST LAWN OF
THE U.S. CAPITOL ON JULY 4

Charles Esten returns to a past haunt “In A Bar Somewhere,” available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers today (6/23). Marking the third release off his highly anticipated debut album, listen here.

Co-written by Esten with Neil Medley and Jason Gantt on Zoom while the celebrated actor was on-location in Barbados for Netflix’s global hit Outer Banks in 2021, the hypnotic Marshall Altman-produced track mixes quiet beauty with a sense of secret turmoil, all in dreamlike detail. Stuck in an emotional loop, constantly replaying smoky memories of a past love that was once perfect – only to fade like a beach town sunset – its lyrics pine for an unforgettable romance and the senses it brought to life:

“In a bar somewhere
We’re still drinking and laughing
Not thinkin’ ‘bout what’s gonna happen
We’re still dancing right there.”

The track ebbs and flows like the tide, with love coming in close enough to touch … only to leave once again. Esten pairs the woozy, heartbroken theme with an equally dramatic Roots-Rock sound, vividly calling to the one who got away with deep blue vocals, ringing reverb, and a hauntingly memorable hook.

Heading out on the road co-headlining with Julia Cole on their EVERY MINUTE EVERY MILE TOUR 2023 in July, Esten next has a major performance set for July 4 on PBS’ A Capitol Fourth live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Backed by the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jack Everly, the annual Independence Day celebration is hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro with additional performances by Chicago, Boyz II Men, Belinda Carlisle, Babyface, Renée Fleming, Maddie & Tae, Broadway stars Adrienne Warren and Ruthie Ann Miles, Elmo and Cookie Monster from Sesame Street, the Northwell Nurse Choir, and the Broadway cast of A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical featuring Will Swenson and Robyn Hurder. A Capitol Fourth airs live on July 4 on PBS at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT (check local listings), as well as on the American Forces Network, NPR member stations, and will stream on www.pbs.org/a-capitol-fourth, Facebook, and YouTube. It will be available on demand from July 4-18.

“A LITTLE RIGHT NOW”: CHARLES ESTEN SEARCHES FOR FAITH IN NEXT RELEASE OFF DEBUT ALBUM

DIGS IN ON THE EMOTIONAL ANTHEM
WITH AMERICAN SONGWRITER HERE
HEADLINING NASHVILLE’S
3RD AND LINDSLEY ON JUNE 8
“NASHVILLE” THE REUNION TOUR ADDS U.S. DATES AHEAD OF IN-DEMAND INTERNATIONAL TREK WITH NASHVILLE’S RYMAN AUDITORIUM ON SEPTEMBER 25

Charles Esten captures a crisis of faith in his next release, “A Little Right Now,” off his forthcoming debut album. The single is available today across all streaming platforms and digital retailers here

First announcing the song with CMT Hot 20 Countdown host Cody Alan live from the aqua carpet at the 2023 CMT MUSIC AWARDS earlier this month in Austin, TX (watch here – start 53:34), Esten recently dug in with American Songwriter on the special nuances of the emotional anthem, from the inspiration behind the Esten, Jacob Lyda, and Brian Maher-penned track, to its distinctive tuning – read more here.

“Everybody, in all walks of life, finds themselves at a point in time when they’re not feeling the faith they used to feel, whether it’s a faith in a greater power, in God, faith in their own abilities, or faith in things working out,” Esten shared with American Songwriter. “There are things that are out of your hands, and that’s where faith comes in—but sometimes, you’re just not feeling it.”

Looking to a higher power, “A Little Right Now” surrenders to the heavens as it arrives like a weary, Roots-rocking prayer. Wrapped in comparative and contrasting metaphors – from a farmer waiting on rain, to a dreamer whose ship has yet to come in – the gut-wrenching story finds a main character pleading for the strength to carry on, and desperate for something to give, but even with hope fading fast still strong enough to ask for more and knowing just where to turn. Produced by Marshall Altman with reverb-soaked guitars, a slow-burning gospel organ, and the raw, unvarnished vocal of honesty, he slowly builds back the spirit to face life – head on, and without giving an inch.

Showing yet another facet of Esten’s long-awaited full-length project, he first introduced the album with “One Good Move.” With high-profile appearances on NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show and CBS’ THE TALK, “the deeply personal power ballad” was hailed by Billboard, with MusicRow urging, “Lend him your ears.” As featured by Entertainment Tonight, CMT, and more, E! News further claimed it “proves the power of one good move.”

Readying to bring these new songs to the stage, tickets are on sale now for Esten’s headlining show at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville, TN, on June 8. Click here for additional details. Likewise, tickets are selling fast as “NASHVILLE” The Reunion Tour will play Rosemont Theatre in Chicago, IL, on September 23 and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, on September 25, before kicking off a U.K. run that’s seen overwhelming demand and SOLD-OUT shows. After a five-year hiatus from touring in the U.S. as a collective, “NASHVILLE” The Reunion Tour finds Esten, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson, and Sam Palladio performing classic songs from the hit series, as well as their own original material. Also, in a one-night event, Chris Carmack will join his former cast members for the Rosemont Theatre performance. Ticket information for all U.S. and U.K. shows can be found at www.nashvillereuniontour.com.

DRAKE WHITE SET TO INSPIRE WITH NEW ALBUM "THE OPTIMYSTIC" ON MARCH 11

LP AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER/PRE-SAVE TODAY WITH FANS TO RECEIVE TITLE TRACK INSTANTLY

JOINING WHISKEY MYERS ON TOUR THIS MONTH

Drake White is ready to take his inspirational spirit to new heights, announcing his upcoming album, "THE OPTIMYSTIC", set for release on March 11. The album is available for pre-order/pre-save HERE, and fans who pre-order will receive the title track instantly. Where Muscle Shoals and Nashville meet is where you’ll find White’s “smooth brand of country-soul” (Billboard), a combination of soulful vocals and Country lyrics with an R&B groove running underneath a down-home sound.

After collapsing on stage due to a stroke in August 2019, White was told by doctors that he might never perform again. After multiple surgeries and months of physiotherapy, he overcame those odds and returned to the road, pouring his journey into the music that makes up THE OPTIMYSTIC. The album is a portrait of White's lifelong optimism and resilience, following the Alabama native as he explores a new level of vulnerability to share his story.

White co-penned 12 of the 14 songs on his new project, teaming with all-star writers like Chris DeStefano, Randy Montana and Eric Paslay to explore the process of physically and mentally healing while celebrating the most important people in his life and expressing his fondness for a simple way of life. He was also involved in producing all but one of "THE OPTIMYSTIC"’s songs, producing two tracks solo and teaming with The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston for 10 others while Johnston took the reins on “It Takes Time.” The album concludes with a recording of "Amazing Grace" performed by White's grandfather's parish with his father and grandmother leading the choir.

"THE OPTIMYSTIC"’s title track was written by White with Kelli Johnson and Lauren Weintraub, and is available instantly for fans who pre-order the album. The song wraps White’s warm voice around a series of guitars as he longs for the optimistic mindset he used to have, ultimately deciding to make a return to that mentality. "It's been five years since my last album," White shares. "I've had two record deals, six brain surgeries, a hemorrhagic stroke and a pandemic that has tried to rip us all apart. Through it all, I've always fought to keep my glass half full. "THE OPTIMYSTIC" is the action of keeping that glass half full and finding faith, hope and joy in the circus of this thing we call life."
