Huka Entertainment is pleased to announce Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, now a three-day event, has added even more amazing performers to its already stellar music line-up.  Joining country superstar headliners Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley will be: Billboard’s Top New Country Artist of 2015 and rising star Kelsea Ballerini, innovators of deep southern soul St. Paul & the Broken Bones, high-energy, straight country honky-tonker Jon Pardi, Kristian Bush, whose debut solo album was dubbed by Country Weekly as the "feel-good album of the year" and the beautiful duo Muddy Magnolias who Elle Magazine described as a “country, soul, and R&B cocktail that's heavy on harmony and candid, occasionally gritty, lyrics.”

The fourth annual festival returns to the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Florida on April 15th, 16th and 17th.  Fans will enjoy a one-of-a-kind Tortuga experience at our oceanfront event, including sun, friends, songs, and sand as well as an exclusive viewing deck with a pool for all VIP attendees.

Fort Lauderdale, FL – February 26, 2015 – Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival has added legendary rockers Doobie Brothers to its already stellar music line-up joining headliners Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band.  Doobie Brothers’ four-time Grammy Award-winning sound has become part of America’s musical firmament, sampled on dance records, reinterpreted on “American Idol,” and a fixture on radio formats from Top 40 to classic rock. With the release of their new record Southbound, a collaboration with the top country stars of today, including a version of their classic hit “Black Water” featuring Tortuga headliner Zac Brown Band, they are breaking new creative ground in the exploration of their musical connection with Nashville.

The third annual Tortuga Music Festival returns to the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Florida on April 11th and 12th. Tens of thousands of fans are expected to enjoy the sun, songs, sand and surf at this unique oceanfront event.

A limited quantity of Early Bird Presale tickets for the 2015 festival will be available online at www.tortugamusicfestival.com this Friday, November 7 at 10:00am EST. This public presale allows early supporters of the festival to purchase discounted tickets, including two-day General Admission for $139.00 each, two-day VIP for $579.00 each and two-day Super VIP for $979 each (shipping and handling fees may apply to each ticket type). With live music performances across three stages, the centerpiece to the festival is its Conservation Village, curated by Stacey, where over 20 organizations dedicated to marine research and conservation will provide interactive, educational experiences for festival patrons.

Stacey notes the Conservation Village will again offer premium content in its third outing, after featuring such notables as The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, Shark Savers, Sea Turtle Oversight Protection, Florida Fishing Academy and Bonefish Tarpon Trust, among others.

“Our Conservation Village concept has been a win-win for our conservation partners and festival fans,” elaborates Stacey. “We allow our fans to learn more about the issues affecting our oceans by using interactions that are entertaining and fun. We’re honored to have some of the foremost experts in various areas of ocean advocacy participating, and to me, folks who spend their time saving our seas are rock stars, too.”

Additionally, festival-goers will again be encouraged to collect waste at the event site to minimize the festival’s impact on the environment, as in previous years, when fans were rewarded for their efforts with various premiums given in exchange for collected trash.

“Ours is one of the only events of its kind, where fans and artists alike can hear the sound of the waves mix with the music on stage,” says Niland. “That’s a special gift, and one that helps us remember what we’re celebrating and trying to preserve.”

JOSH THOMPSON WORLD PREMIERES NEW VIDEO "WANTED ME GONE" EXCLUSIVELY ON CMT TODAY

Nashville, TN – Show Dog - Universal Music recording artist Josh Thompson has released the brand-new music video for his current single “Wanted Me Gone” today exclusively on CMT’s properties – CMT, CMT Pure, CMT Artists App and CMT.com. The video premieres on CMT’s main channel, and will air every other hour on CMT Pure. Fans can also view the video by clicking here.

The video, directed by Tom Dyer (Rack-N-Roll Audio), was shot at Thompson’s house and reflects the light-hearted nature of the single’s tongue-in-cheek response to a breakup. In the video, Thompson sits idly by in a lawn chair, beer in hand, watching all of his possessions being tossed out the window. Interestingly, no props were used in the making of the video – all the items featured are Thompson’s, including a deer target and a wall-mounted fish that he had caught during a trip to Lake Okeechobee.

"I definitely had the most fun I’ve ever had shooting this video,” says Josh of the experience. “It tells the story of the song perfectly, and you can't go wrong with spending the day sitting in a lawn chair with a beer."

Fort Lauderdale, FL – April 8, 2014—There are only five short days to go until the second annual Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival hits the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, when headliners Eric Church & Luke Bryan and more of music’s hottest acts perform on April 12th and 13th.  Fans outside of Florida who are unable to attend this year’s festival can still catch some of their favorite artist performances via live stream. Artist performances on Saturday, April 12th that will be live will be Brett Eldredge, Ziggy Marley, Slightly Stoopid and Eric Church, while artist performances on Sunday, April 13th include Brett Dennen, Sheryl Crow, 38 Special, Brantley Gilbert and Dierks Bentley. Livestreaming is being provided by Live Media Group, whose past streaming coverage includes Live from the Red Carpet at the Oscars, Emmys and Grammys as well as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and Red Carpet premiers for The Hunger Games, Twilight and Hobbit franchises. The Tortuga mobile app is now available in both android and IOS app marketplaces. Patrons may download the app for the lineup, schedule, map, artist, vendor, conservation details and more, as well as received notifications throughout the festival.

Attending festival-goers will be allowed to bring the following items into the festival: blankets & beach towels, prescription medicines (must be in a marked bottle along with proper matching ID), baby strollers or small wagons for toddlers, non-professional cameras (detachable lenses not allowed), one empty water bottle up to 2 liters in size, factory sealed water bottle (one person, up to 1 liter), small backpacks, camelbacks (must be empty), umbrellas (small hand held), low-rise beach chairs (to be set up in designated chair zone), sunscreen and sunglasses.

Prohibited items include: weapons of any kind, fireworks or explosives, illegal or illicit substances of any kind, outside food & drink (except factory sealed water), pets (except service animals), flyers/handbills/posters/stickers (no solicitation allowed), large HIGH BACK chairs or patio chairs, beach umbrellas or tents, glass containers, skateboards/bicycles/motorized vehicles or scooters (unless ADA approved device), paint/sharpies/permanent markers, coolers of any size, professional recording devices or cameras, glowsticks, laser pointers, unauthorized or unlicensed vending, items to obstruct other fan’s views (kites, flag poles, large signs, etc). Professional-grade cameras with detachable or long-range lenses and GoPro or similar cameras are not permitted.

All guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry or re-entry. Any prohibited item that is confiscated will not be held or returned.

Parking for the festival will be located off-site and a convenient shuttle bus system will be used to transport all guests to and from the festival. The festival shuttles will be in operation 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM on Saturday 4/12 and Sunday 4/13.  All shuttles will be picking up passengers on North East 9th Street, located behind the Galleria Mall, and will drop off just north of the festival site at South East 5th Street.  Advance 2-day Shuttle Passes are $25.00, while Shuttle Passes purchased during the festival will be $30.00.

Fans who wish to purchase tickets at the gate day of show may do so by visiting the ticketing office for the following rates: General Admission 2-day $190, Single Day $110, VIP tickets $840, Super VIP for $1360, all inclusive of fees. However, advance tickets are still available at www.tortugamusicfestival.com. Single-day advance General Admission tickets are just $89.00 plus applicable fees, while 2-day advance General Admission festival ticket prices start at only $165.

LAUREN ALAINA TO RELEASE “GROWN UP CHRISTMAS LIST” FOR SPECIAL OYLMPICS ‘A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS"

Christmas will come early this year for Lauren Alaina fans, who will be able to stuff their stockings with her version of the holiday classic, “Grown Up Christmas List” on December 10th. The digital track, which was produced by Nathan Chapman, is being released on iTunes in conjunction with the 26th anniversary of the Special Olympics’ ‘A Very Special Christmas®’ holiday music series.

Since 1987, the ‘A Very Special Christmas’ album series has changed lives through generating over $116 million in royalties in direct support of Special Olympics programs, thanks to the generosity of top internationally acclaimed recording artists. Alaina has been very involved with the Special Olympics organization since she started with her local hometown chapter at just 11 years old. She is now an Ambassador for the cause and spent a week in PyeongChang, South Korea last year to participate in the Special Olympics Winter Games.

“Growing up, I was very close with a cousin who had an intellectual disability, and it upset me when people all around me treated him differently,” said Alaina. “I feel blessed that I’m able to be so involved with a cause dear to my heart. Not only am I able to record one of my all-time favorite holiday songs for a great cause, but year-round, I’m able to visit schools across the country and talk to kids about creating acceptance and respect for all kids – regardless of any disability.”

Lauren will perform “Grown Up Christmas List” as a part of the first holiday edition of CMT’s “Live @ CMT” series. The program, which launches December 2nd on CMT.com, will also feature performances of some of Lauren’s favorite Christmas songs – “O Holy Night,” “Jingle Bells,” and “Silent Night.” In addition, her performance of “Grown Up Christmas List” will air as a holiday music video, which will premiere on CMT and CMT Pure on December 9th.

Lauren is also set to perform "Grown Up Christmas List" and "Jingle Bells" during the 7pm EST hour of NBC's Christmas In Rockefeller Center, which will air in certain markets throughout the country on December 4th. Fans can check local listings to tune in.
