TUNE IN REMINDER - OLD DOMINION TO ROCK THE ELLEN SHOW TODAY, JANUARY 20

Reigning ACM New Group of the Year, Old Dominion, will perform their latest No. 1 “Song For Another Time” off their debut album for RCA Nashville, Meat And Candy, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, January 20.

"Song For Another Time,” “an anthemic number that name-checks generations of popular odes to getting caught up in the moment” is, as NPR’s Jewly Hight puts it, “a songbook populated by Neil Diamond and Tom Petty, Van Morrison and John Mellencamp, George Strait and Katy Perry,” Hight adds, “that's the lineage Old Dominion wants to claim.” The single follows multi-week No. 1 Platinum-selling debut single “Break Up With Him” and RIAA certified-Gold Top 5 “Snapback.”

"'Song For Another Time' had been such a big song for us and has opened so many doors for us," said Old Dominion lead singer, Matthew Ramsey. "We are so excited to perform it on Ellen;  2017 is off to an amazing start."

With two years of solid touring finally affording them the opportunity, the band’s debut Ellen performance comes just weeks after wrapping their first headlining tour, which boasted sold-out shows in New York, L.A., Chicago, Boston and dozens more. The road-built band, known for putting its fans first, surprised Nashville with a free pop-up show last week (Jan. 12) to thank its fans for an incredible year filled with ACM, Music Row, AIMP and ACCA awards recognition.

Later this month, Old Dominion will join Miranda Lambert on her Highway Vagabond tour. Until then, the band is rehearsing before they hit the road and can be found in studio with GRAMMY Award-winning producer, Shane McAnally, (producer of Meat and Candy) working on its forthcoming follow-up album due later this year.

BRANDY CLARK MADE HER DEBUT ON “ELLEN”

Photo: Courtesy "The Ellen DeGeneres Show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – March 25, 2014 – Country singer/songwriter Brandy Clark made her debut performance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Monday, Mar. 24, performing “Stripes” from her critically-acclaimed album, 12 Stories. View the performance HERE.

“Performing on ‘Ellen’ was a bucket list item for me, and I was thrilled to be there,” said Clark. “I appreciate her support of new artists and music from all genres, and hope to have the opportunity to return to her show some day.”

Clark is currently touring with Jennifer Nettles, and will perform at The Wiltern in Los Angeles this Saturday, Mar. 29. In an interview with journalist Tricia Despres for Country Weekly, headliner Nettles had this to say about Clark: “[Brandy] feels to me as someone country music needs right now. It’s been a joy watching the audience realize that they know her and her music, but I also just love that she is coming out with us now to support her own music. I have been a fan of hers for a long time. She is the real deal.

Journalist Melinda Newman recently interviewed Clark for Hitfix.com, writing, “Clark’s clear, silky voice carries the tales of people that you either recognize yourself or your neighbor in they are so richly drawn and cinematic in their detail. There’s a realness to the characters.” Earlier this year, Hitfix named Clark “one of 5 country artists to watch.”

In addition to writing and performing her own songs, Clark also writes for other artists. Miranda Lambert took her song “Mama’s Broken Heart” to No. 1, as did The Band Perry with “Better Dig Two.” She’s also had songs recorded by Sheryl Crow, Reba, Kenny Rogers, Darius Rucker, and frequent collaborator, Kacey Musgraves.

BRANDY CLARK TO MAKE HER DEBUT ON “ELLEN” THIS THURSDAY, MARCH 20

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – March 17, 2014 – Earlier this year, Ellen DeGeneres danced to Brandy Clark’s song “Stripes” during the Beats Music Super Bowl commercial. This week, the two entertainers will meet when Clark makes her debut appearance on the nationally-syndicated “Ellen DeGeneres Show” this Thursday, Mar. 20. During the appearance, Clark will perform “Stripes,” which can be found on her first album, 12 Stories.

“It was incredible that my song was used in the Beats Music commercial starring Ellen earlier this year, and now I am going to perform ‘Stripes’ on her show,” said Clark. “I am so excited, and I look forward to meeting her.”

Since being released in October 2013, 12 Stories has received tremendous critical acclaim. Hitfix’s Melinda Newman wrote that Clark was “the best new artist country radio isn’t playing” and that 12 Stories “made almost every music critics’ best of 2013 list for its heart, wit, smart wordplay, and Clark’s expressive vocals.” When reviewing 12 Stories, Randy Lewis of the Los Angeles Times wrote, “This is the country debut of the year.” Rolling Stone’s Will Hermes noted, “Her debut is all airtight craftsmanship, sly wit and precise detailing that treats mainstream style like artisanal fast food.” New York Magazine’s Jody Rosen named 12 Stories his favorite album of 2013 remarking, “She’s a brisk, vivid, witty storyteller; her tunes unfold in old-fashioned weepers and chugging honkytonk, with fiddles, pedal steel, and vocal harmonies driving home the punch lines and pathos.” The Tennessean’s Peter Cooper observed in a cover story last November, “She is about expression, not impression. Which is why she's impressive” before noting an already remarkable feat: “As voiced through others, her songs have moved two or three million other people. Now, Clark's songs may be heard in her own rich voice.”

Clark is currently touring the country opening for Jennifer Nettles. In addition to writing and performing her own songs, Clark also writes for other artists. Miranda Lambert took her song “Mama’s Broken Heart” to No. 1, as did The Band Perry with “Better Dig Two.” She’s also had songs recorded by Sheryl Crow, Darius Rucker, and frequent collaborator, Kacey Musgraves.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country music singer/songwriter Kellie Pickler released her new album, The Woman I Am, on Monday, and has been making the media rounds with appearances and performances on several television shows this week. The Woman I Am was produced by Luke Wooten and Frank Liddell and features her current single “Little Bit Gypsy.” This is her first album for Black River Entertainment.

On Monday, Nov. 11, the reigning Mirror Ball champion appeared live on ABC Television’s “Dancing with the Stars” to cheer on this season’s contestants. During her chat with host Tom Bergeron, it was announced that Pickler will return to “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday, Nov. 25 to perform during the show’s Finale Week. Click HERE to view the appearance.

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, Pickler appeared on the syndicated “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Watch the interview HERE and performance HERE. Later that night, she appeared on “Late Night with Craig Ferguson.” Watch that interview HERE and performance HERE.

The Woman I Am has already received praise from music critics, including:

“Continuing to mature into a top-class country singer, [Pickler]…has grown from a competent interpreter of others' songs into an artist with her own vision and style. As a songwriter and vocalist, she's held onto the charm of her back-country personality while growing into a confident stylist …Add Pickler's name to the list of women making outstanding albums in a year where men dominate country radio and the media.”
 – Michael McCall, Associated Press

“Too bad Pickler's best known for her personality, because her albums are as much fun as hearing her talk. (Three stars)”
– Brian Mansfield, USA Today

"On a dozen new tracks, that sound spans the sonic country landscape between the lead-off single, the pining ballad 'Someone Somewhere Tonight,' and its breezy, country-rock follow-up, 'Little Bit Gypsy.' The guitar-heavy, shuffling song, which Pickler says is the record's poppiest moment, sounds like her take on Tom Petty covering Elvis Costello's 'You Belong To Me."
– Adam Gold, Rolling Stone

“Pickler's growth is impressive, but she is still at her most charming when she lets that sassiness out. With The Woman I Am, Pickler shows how the next phase of her career may be bigger than she ever dreamed. Grade: B+”
– Glenn Gamboa, Newsday

“…Pickler is still one of the most exciting and underrated voices in country music. The Woman I Am is rooted in classic sounds, with a few nods to contemporary country, but none of it comes across as pandering…. The Woman I Am is the autobiographical declaration of a talented North Carolina native who continues to channel the sounds of Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire.”
– Erik Ernst, Journal Sentinel

After performing on “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday, Nov. 25, Pickler will travel to New York City to perform on ABC Television’s “The View” on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Two days later, she will make her debut appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, Nov. 28 (broadcast live on NBC Television), where she will ride on a float and perform. The following week, she will perform on “CMA Country Christmas,” airing on Monday, Dec. 2 on ABC Television.

In between media appearances, Pickler is also performing at venues across the nation, including the following dates:

Nov. 16 - Jacksonville, Fla.
St. Johns Town Center Holiday Celebration

Nov. 18 - Fayetteville, N.C.
Crown Theater

Nov. 19 - Asheville, N.C.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 5, 2013)- Country music’s Kellie Pickler announced today on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she and her dance partner, Derek Hough, will dance to a very special song on Monday night’s Dancing With The Stars. In honor of the show’s theme of the week, “Most Memorable Year,” Pickler chose to dance to one from 2011— the year she married her husband, Nashville songwriter, Kyle Jacobs. Click here to watch her reveal the announcement to Ellen.

Pickler and Hough will dance the rumba to “Say I Do,” a romantic ballad written by Jacobs for Pickler shortly before their wedding day – and to top it off, Jacobs will perform the song in person on the show Monday night with the help of the Dancing With The Stars house band.

“It’s going to be an 100 percent emotional moment, and I’m just hoping I can keep it together,” Jacobs says. “Kellie’s doing so well on the show, and she’s having so much fun. The fact that she’s dancing to this song, our song, means so very much to both of us… it honors the love that we have so much.”

When asked how Jacobs feels about his wife dancing with Hough each week, Pickler sweetly told Ellen, “My husband knows he’s always going to get the last dance.”

Tune in to Dancing With The Stars on ABC on Monday at 8 p.m. EDT / 7 CDT to watch.

Fans won't want to miss it, as Pickler will make a very special announcement that can only be heard on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
