REMEMBERING TOBY KEITH

Toby Keith passed away Monday (2/5). He was 62. The news was shared on his website and social media accounts. "Toby Keith passed peacefully last night ... surrounded by his family," the statement reads. "He fought his fight with grace and courage. Please respect the privacy of his family at this time." In June 2022, Keith revealed he was battling stomach cancer, saying he had been diagnosed in Fall 2021 and had undergone chemo, radiation and surgery. He performed three shows at Park MGM's Dolby Live in Las Vegas last December.

The country music community and fans alike came together on social media to pay tribute to Toby and here are just a few of the examples of the outpouring of love and respect for the country music icon:

“I was saddened to hear of Toby Keith’s passing. He really was one of the good guys. He helped a lot of people get started in the business. He loved God, he loved his family, and he was a true Patriot. He loved America. A friend to so many, including myself! Rest dear brother, you’re home at last!”

- Ricky Skaggs

"Toby did as much good off-stage as he did on it. I got to be a part of his OK Kids Korral a few years back, and we sang a few together to benefit those kids. A good man with a huge legacy that stands as tall as him."

John Anderson

"You would have rather heard how Toby Keith beat cancer this morning as the broadcasts carry the news of his passing. What I knew was that he was a patriot and expressed it in his music and conversation. His love for our country. The realization of his mortality. His decision to trust and follow Christ made him more than a cowboy last night.
Condolences to Tricia and his family. RIP, TK."

- Marty Raybon / Shenandoah

"Toby has been an amazing friend with sound advice in some key moments in my life. This loss cuts deep but I’m so encouraged at the true faith that Toby has displayed and carries with him. I will continue to pray for his family, and there is no doubt that he is now in the peace that passes all understanding. You left this world a great gift in your songs! Rest high my brother and thank you!"

- Tim Rushlow / The Frontmen Live / Former lead singer of Little Texas

“Sometimes we use the word 'friend' when we really mean acquaintance. Toby Keith was my friend, and all I know is this. My friend Toby does not have cancer in Heaven this morning. As we’d say in OKLAHOMA and TEXAS, he was a good sumbich. That’s about the highest praise a TEXAN can give to someone. REST IN PEACE, COWBOY.”

 - Larry Gatlin

"Toby Keith was his own man. He set a great example for all of us in life and in death. He had one shot at this, just like we all do, and he did it his way. I paid attention to his life and his career. He had a swagger that was a little different than most because he knew who he was. In life we have a chance to leave a mark that will not fade and he knocked it out of the park. In death we have a chance to exit this awful, beautiful life with grace and dignity. Toby just hit another grand slam and we could learn from this example. Sometimes it’s not about the elaborate production because sometimes the production is simply the actions of the man. God Bless you and your family and thank you for showing us all how it’s done."

Darryl Worley

"Toby did it 'The Cowboy Way' with courage and dignity and his work will live on. Old Cowboys Never Die, they just ride away."

- Billy Dean

“We are saddened to hear of the passing of the great Toby Keith. What an amazing talent. We lost another Real Cowboy! Gone too soon but we know where he is. Ride in Peace, TK.”

- Doug Gray / The Marshall Tucker Band

"I’m so sorry to hear of Toby’s passing. He was a great singer, and his songwriting talent was enormous. My condolences to his family."

Henry Paul / BlackHawk & The Outlaws

“We’ve lost a great one. Toby was an amazing talent and man. Sending prayers to his family and friends.”

- Aaron Tippin

"What a huge loss for the family of country music. I, like so many, loved Toby and his great songs! I was honored and proud to call him my friend. He was so much fun, always a gentleman and such a beautiful soul. Til we see you again, Rest in Heavenly Peace, Toby."

- Deborah Allen

“In 1991, we met Toby Keith just before we played a bar in Oklahoma City called Cowdaddies. We played a great round of golf with him that day and that started a friendship that lasted 33 years. We are so sad to learn of his passing, but he gave cancer a fight it'll never forget, just as he fought through his whole career. He was a great performer, writer, American and patriot, and we'll miss him terribly.”

- Little Texas

“Toby was a true American success story and never forgot what America stands for. He was an icon. God bless his family at this sorrowful time. R.I.P.”

- T. Graham Brown

“My friend Toby Keith was a legend not just in the country music format but all music.
He was also a great patriot who’s love for God, Family and Country was displayed in his music and more importantly in the life he lived. He will live on in the hearts of those lives he impacted and changed. His presence will forever be missed.
Praying for God’s peace for all who loved him.”

- Craig Morgan

“Our self titled debuts came out on the same day, April 20, 1993. Toby and I spent quite a bit of time together early in our careers. We had a lot of good times and conversations about what we wanted out of our careers and our lives. He was a maverick. He did things his way, on his terms, a true artist. I always have and always will have tremendous respect for his artistry, dedication and fearlessness to do his thing.
We all will miss you, brother.”

- Tim McGraw

“It breaks my heart to hear about the passing of Toby Keith. I’ve known Toby since I was a kid. He used to run around in the same circle as my dad. When I signed my first record deal in 2012, Toby was the very first person to take me on tour I watched his show every single night just trying to soak up as much as I could. I learned so much about how to write songs, how to perform, and how to entertain from Toby Keith. I am so honored to say that I got to share the stage with him. Toby. I hope your soul rests easy brother.”

 - Thomas Rhett

“This is a heart breaker.. Toby Keith was one of the first to believe in us Flatts boys. He took us on the road and took a chance on us. We were fast friends and it still remains as one of the best tour experiences of my career. However, I got something even better out of it in the end, a lifelong friend. Rest in peace Toby, I’m sure gonna miss you.”

- Jay DeMarcus

“Saddle up the horses, Jesus, ‘cause a true blue COWBOY just made his ride up to heaven!!! Introduce him to all the Okies and sign that boy up for the choir! We’re gonna miss you, Toby, but my heart has no doubt that you are standing in the presence of our King right now!!! See you again someday, friend.”

- Carrie Underwood

“A troubadour gone too soon. We played together, we sang together. He was a friend, ornery, rough, tough, kind and loyal… if he liked you. A rascal, an outlaw with a big heart. He was opinionated, usually his way or the highway. A patriot that acted, didn’t just talk it. He was a loyal husband and proud loving father. He was a big man, a fighter… in the end life wins. Give ‘em hell up there my friend !!! Our love, prayers and condolences go out to his lovely wife Tricia, daughters Krystal, and Shelley and son Stelen.”

- Ronnie Dunn

“Toby was a real friend. I looked forward to visiting with him every time we talked together. A true superstar who was down to earth. His last email to Kelly and I broke our hearts. I loved Toby. I will miss his larger than life personality.
To his family I send my prayers for comfort in this loss of my friend."

- Randy Owen / ALABAMA

“Very few artists have the trifecta of excellent songwriter, excellent singer and a big heart for other people. Toby had all three. He also is one of the great American heroes that I have, personally.”

- Teddy Gentry / ALABAMA

"I woke up this morning and heard the bad news. Our Country Music Family has lost a monster singer, songwriter, entertainer and a true American Patriot in TOBY KEITH! I loved him as a friend and will miss him greatly! Rest in Peace, Toby."

- Ronnie Milsap

“Toby Keith wasn’t only an amazing singer-songwriter, a pioneer of truth-telling and a legend in his own right, but he was also a lover of God and Country. And above all, a Patriot. God bless Toby Keith and his family. Sending thoughts and prayers to his family and millions of fans around the world.”

- Aaron Lewis

"Toby Keith was a tried and true, red, white, and blue, AMERICAN BADASS! RIP TK, sure gonna miss ya Big Dog. Thanks for the music and all the great memories."

I had the privilege of working with Toby Keith when recording our "Stars and Stripes" album.  Toby’s big booming voice brought Be True to Your School to life in ways I’d never imagined. Toby was great to work with, a deep and kind spirit really devoted to music.  He had a way of communicating  the full range of human emotion so poetically through song.  Thank you Toby for the gift of your music and musicianship."

-Mike Love (The Beach Boys)

I'd like to extend my heartfelt condolences to Toby’s family. I think I’ll stay up a little longer and listen to Toby’s “Red Solo Cup“ and “How do you like me now.” RIP Toby. Even though I knew about your battle these last few months, I still never imagined this day. Anyone who knew you knows what I mean. You were the toughest man I ever met. Thank you brother for being a friend, a hero and an inspiration. There will never be another Toby Keith."

- Sammy Kershaw

"Toby Keith did things his way - amazing artist, songwriter, patriot and man of faith. I admired him and how he rolled. He and I shared a deep love for our military and I’m proud that he took his music to dangerous places in order to give American spirit to those protecting freedom. I was pleased that he called me the OG and was honored to work with him a few times through the years. Please join our family in praying for the Covel family. I am confident that Toby was met at the pearly gates by patriots who have gone before and is resting in the arms of Jesus."

- Lee Greenwood

"We are saddened by the passing of Toby Keith. He dedicated years of his life performing for the troops, with 11 overseas tours with The USO and many performances, charity events, and tributes here in the United States."

- @USArmy on X

"Toby Keith meant what he wrote and what he sang. His music moved people. For years, I’ve walked out to “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue” at major speeches. Few songs like it capture America’s fighting spirit. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Toby will be missed, and our prayers are with his family."

- @KristiNoem on X

"I met Toby for the first time when Mercury Records president Harold Shedd asked me to attend a showcase for Toby and two other acts he had just signed to the label. Toby had a great sense of humor and through the years would show up at our shows out of the blue and jump on-stage with us to sing 'Dumas Walker!' He just loved to surprise people and have fun. I especially remember one time in New York City, which was about as far from Oklahoma and Kentucky as you can get, we were playing the Lone Star Roadhouse. And out nowhere, here comes Toby out of the audience and jumped on-stage! I always loved the fact that he was a country act but was not afraid to add a horn section to his songs and live show. He broke a few rules but made certain things were OK for those who came after him."

- Richard Young / The Kentucky Headhunters

"Toby Keith was pro-America without apology. He wrote songs about the values our nation was founded upon - faith, family, hard work, patriotism. He refused to bow to toxic cancellation or anti-Americanism. Our country is better because of men like Toby Keith. Rest in peace."

@VivekRamaswamy on X

"Toby Keith story time. This is the only story I have because I only met him once. Back in 2010, Toby was on the USO tour in Iraq. (He went on 11 of them.) During his set, indirect fire was coming into the base. It was probably just 107mm rockets or mortars. The alarm came on “Incoming, incoming, incoming…” Everyone got down. A few explosions could be heard in the distance; they probably just hit the airfield. Then Toby Keith came back on stage and said…. “HEY AL QAEDA, YOUUUUUU MISSED!” 🀣🀣🀣 The amount of laughter that erupted after he said that could probably be registered on the Richter scale.  This one stings me personally because he did more for Veterans and outreach than I think even our federal government has. To the ones mocking his death, sincerely go f**k yourselves."

BRANTLEY GILBERT PREMIERES THE WORST COUNTRY VIDEO OF ALL TIME

Georgia-Native Readies Fans for New Music On the Horizon

Following the release of his latest single “The Worst Country Song of All Time” via The Valory Music Co., multi-Platinum selling country rocker Brantley Gilbert ups the ante with the worst country video of all time, directed by Gilbert and Brian Vaughn, featuring his collaborator on the track HARDY, with a special appearance from Toby Keith. The video premiered exclusively on
Facebook.com with Gilbert joining live ahead of the video’s initial screening.

Starring a rowdy crew of recognizable political figures, including a saxophone-wielding Bill Clinton, the video, like the song, parodies the genre with an elaborate approach, featuring electric cars and minivans along with some questionable fashion choices, proving Gilbert and his co-writer know how to poke fun at themselves while also spotlighting all they love about the format.

“I honestly never thought we’d get this far with this song,” chuckles Gilbert. “It really started as a goofy idea that we were having fun with, and we’ve been glad to bring a laugh to folks this summer after such a rough year. We can’t wait for BG Nation to see what else we have in store later this year.”

Released earlier this summer, Entertainment Tonight calls “The Worst Country Song of All Time” “tongue-in-cheek,” while Barstool Sports praises it as a “rambunctious, boot-stomping good time.” Billboard shares that the song is “a sendup of every other stereotypical one, slagging the lifestyle linchpins in the genre…and celebrating the stuff that country’s songs typically try to escape.”

“If you take it seriously enough to criticize it,” Gilbert shared with Billboard, “you're missing the whole point.”

With three No. 1 albums and seven No. 1 singles, Gilbert has been writing and recording during his time off from the road, readying his fans for more new music later this year.

“We’ve had a lot of great writes over the last few months,” Gilbert says. “We got outside of our box a little bit. As artists and writers, we have a group of people that we’re extremely comfortable writing with, that we know we’re going to be productive with and we know what kind of song we’re going write. But we branched out a little bit and wrote with some folks we haven’t written with before, just to see what would happen and what would come out of it.

“I have to say, I’m extremely proud of what we got on the way,” he concludes.

“The Worst Country Song Of All Time” is the first taste of new music following the release of Fire & Brimstone (Deluxe Edition), an extended version of his fifth studio album which explores love and family, redemption and life in a small town, with all 17 tracks written or co-written by Gilbert. Lead single “What Happens In A Small Town” featuring Lindsay Ell marked his fifth No. 1 as an artist, seventh No. 1 as a songwriter and earned nominations for the 2019 CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year and 2020 ACM Award for Music Event of the Year.

Earlier this year, Gilbert held his inaugural trail ride with partners including Polaris, Gander Outdoors, Camping World, Brimstone® Recreation, Traeger Grills, Whiskey Jam and Appalachia Made Co., raising $75,000 to benefit ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund to support those in the entertainment industry who lost work due to the pandemic.

Gilbert continues to raise funds for the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music with the “Garage-full of Awesome Giveaway.” Fans who donate $10 or more will be entered to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to meet Gilbert in person for a trail-riding adventure; a RZR Trail S 1000 Ultimate in Ghost Gray, courtesy of Polaris; 2021 Heartland Fuel 362, courtesy of Camping World; and $5,000 cash. NASHVILLE SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME TO INDUCT AMY GRANT, TOBY KEITH, RHETT AKINS, BUDDY CANNON AND JOHN SCOTT SHERRILL

THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR WORDS, YOUR EXPERIENCES, YOUR HEARTBREAK AND YOUR JOY. YOU CHANGE LIVES WITH EVERY WORD.

The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (NaSHOF) has announced its Class of 2021: Amy Grant, Toby Keith, Rhett Akins, Buddy Cannon and John Scott Sherrill. The five will be inducted into the Hall this November, according to an announcement made today by Sarah Cates, chair of the organization’s board of directors, and Mark Ford, its executive director.

The five new inductees-elect will join the 213 previously inducted members of the elite organization when they are officially inducted during the “50/51” Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala on Monday, November 1, at the Music City Center. Because the organization’s 50th Anniversary celebration was postponed last year, this year’s event will honor two classes in a special double-sized event that will also spotlight NaSHOF’s previously named Class of 2020: Steve Earle, Bobbie Gentry, Kent Blazy, Brett James and Spooner Oldham.

"Today is one of my favorite days of the year, as we begin our journey to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala in November with the announcement of our upcoming class,” says Cates. "Nashville has always been the home of legendary songs written by the world’s finest songwriters – and this class is no exception. It’s our great honor today to welcome our class of 2021: Rhett Akins and Buddy Cannon in the songwriter category; John Scott Sherrill in the veteran songwriter category; Toby Keith as our songwriter/artist and Amy Grant as our veteran songwriter/artist.”

Rhett Akins’ songwriter credits include his own “That Ain’t My Truck,” as well as “Honey Bee” (Blake Shelton) and “It Goes Like This” (Thomas Rhett). Buddy Cannon’s resume is known for “Set ’Em Up Joe” (Vern Gosdin), “I’ve Come To Expect It From You” (George Strait) and “Give It Away” (George Strait). John Scott Sherrill’s hits include “Wild And Blue” (John Anderson), “The Church On Cumberland Road” (Shenandoah) and “How Long Gone” (Brooks & Dunn). Amy Grant popularized many of her own compositions, including “Baby Baby,” “That’s What Love Is For” and “Tennessee Christmas.” Toby Keith recorded many of his self-penned hits, including “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” “How Do You Like Me Now?!” and “As Good As I Once Was.”

The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala is one of the music industry’s premier events of the year. The evening features tributes and performances of the inductees’ songs by special guest artists. In recent years artists such as Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Jimmy Buffett, Ronnie Dunn, Emmylou Harris, Alan Jackson, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Marty Stuart, Taylor Swift, Josh Turner and Trisha Yearwood have performed at or participated in the event.

The Hall of Fame Gala benefits the nonprofit Nashville Songwriters Foundation. Starting in September, select public seating may be purchased as available by contacting Executive Director Mark Ford at mail@nashvillesongwritersfoundation.com or 615-460-6556.

NEW VIDEO FROM TOBY KEITH FEATURING CLINT EASTWOOD - "DON'T LET THE OLD MAN IN"

Great new song and video from Toby Keith as he has teamed up with legendary actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood - "Don't Let The Old Man In."

"Don't Let The Old Man In" came into being while the two shared a cart at Eastwood's annual golf tournament in California. When Toby asked Clint how he is able to continue be so active with new movies and projects, Eastwood told him, "I just don't let the old man in." Keith took this sentiment to heart and penned a song around the line and sent it to Eastwood. After hearing it, Eastwood decided to feature the song during the final scene and closing credits of his upcoming film The Mule (playing in theaters nationwide on Dec. 14th.) The new music video focuses on Eastwood's character and features scenes and clips from the upcoming movie. The clip premiered on Parade.com this morning,

TOBY KEITH DISCUSSES HIS BUSINESS VENTURES, SUPPORT FOR THE MILITARY, AND HIS STRONG WORK ETHIC ON THE BIG INTERVIEW, AIRING OCTOBER 16

The “Big Dog Daddy” rolls into the “Trailerhood” as Country icon Toby Keith sits down with Dan Rather in an all-new episode of The Big Interview on Tuesday, October 16 at 9:00 pm ET. As he prepares to celebrate the 25TH Anniversary of his signature first single “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” from his self-titled 1993 debut album—which is being re-released by Universal with a new music video and three all-new tracks—Keith joins Dan to reflect on his life and legacy as one of Country’s most beloved artists.

During the episode, Keith discusses his highly successful business ventures ranging from the popular Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill restaurant chain, to the Wild Shot Mezcal tequila company, as well as staking a claim in the Big Machine record label, which represents some of Country’s biggest names including Taylor Swift. His work ethic is second to none, and he attributes this to a childhood spent on the oilrigs in Oklahoma, where his father worked for much of his life. Additionally, Keith reflects on his deep love for the military, and performing over 200 shows for the USO; opens up about his charity, the OK Kids Korral, which helps children with cancer; gets candid about his independent political views; and shares a high-spirited tale of smoking with Willie Nelson on a tour bus during an unforgettable night in Las Vegas.

In this exclusive look at the upcoming episode, Keith talks about life on tour and the love he feels being out on the road with his band and his crew, comparing the lively atmosphere to “a big party” that he could do “year-round.” While every show is a party now, it took a lot of hard work to get there, fueled by an unstoppable ambition that drove the megastar to outwork everyone else. “I didn’t take many vacations the first 20 years of my adult life, because my head was on the line,” he explains. “When I came out and my song hit, I was doing 28, 29 shows a month because I didn’t know I was gonna get a second hit let alone an 85TH hit.” It wasn’t until he had achieved sustained success that Keith allowed himself some downtime to enjoy the fruits of his labor, as he charmingly recalls, “After about 15 years, my family finally went, ‘Hey, are we ever gonna go to DisneyWorld?’”

Watch the clip below:

CRS FEATURED SPEAKER REVEALED - TOBY KEITH: MY WAY AT #CRS2017

Discussion to reveal Toby’s unique approach in developing his career and serving his audience

Toby Keith will appear as a featured speaker at Country Radio Seminar 2017. Sponsored by BMI, Toby Keith: My Way at CRS 2017 will take place Friday, Feb. 24 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. CT.

The discussion will explore Keith’s career, what inspired him to take control of his recorded and live music, form his own label and build a business empire on his terms. Keith will also talk about his strong relationship with men and women of the military, and his dedication to charitable initiatives. Leading the discussion will be RJ Curtis and Beverlee Branigan.

The appearance marks Keith’s return to the seminar since being recognized with CRB’s Artist Humanitarian Award in 2007; the same year he was the headline artist on Country Radio Seminar’s Music City Jam.

The familiar maxim of the triple threat – singer, songwriter, musician – doesn't begin to cover it for Toby Keith, one of the modern era's most complete self-directed hit makers. And Keith's most recent several months are a remarkably accurate representation of his entire career. He wrote, produced and released his latest single "A Few More Cowboys" to Billboard Hot Shot Debut status and the song is continuing to round up some amens and good-calls on its way up the charts. The release heralds new music following the successful and acclaimed 2015 album 35 mph Town. Toby continues to fill venues coast-to-coast on his current Interstates & Tailgates Tour presented by Ford F-Series. National television performances include kicking off the 2015 season of PBS' Soundstage, and paying tribute to Merle Haggard on the April, 2016 FOX telecast of the American Country Countdown Awards as well as to Glen Campbell and songwriter Jimmy Webb on the September, 2016 CBS telecast of ACM Honors. Even closer to his heart was last year's performance on TBS' Neighborhood Sessions and being recognized with the Atlantic Council's Distinguished Leadership Award for "remarkable musical contributions and support for US troops around the world." Capping it all is this year's Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic which raised another $1.175 million to aid sick children and their families in Oklahoma.

From the moment Toby's debut single "Should've Been A Cowboy" shot up the charts to become his first No. 1, the engine driving everything else has been the music. He writes it. He arranges and produces it. And he releases it on his own record label, Show Dog Nashville. At the core is his songwriting, as recognized in his 2015 induction into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in New York City. The Nashville Songwriters Association International named him Songwriter/Artist of the Decade and he is a three-time BMI Country Songwriter/Artist of the Year. His songs have received more than 87 million BMI performances on commercial radio stations worldwide. Keith's albums have sold more than 40 million copies. His tours have drawn more than a million fans each year for more than a decade straight, with recent expansion into Europe and Australia. The awards are too numerous to count and include Artist of the Decade nods from Billboard and the American Country Awards, as well as the ACM's Career Achievement honor.

A musician's musician, he was a last minute illness stand-in for the late Merle Haggard a few years back and responded to Merle's query about which of the legend's songs Keith knew and could cover with, "All of 'em." And there have been some unexpected highlights along the way as well, including country's most impactful viral event ever, "Red Solo Cup," the video for which has received more than 30 million views and was named ACM Video of the Year. Toby's most rewarding experiences, however, have come from giving back locally, nationally and abroad. His golf classics fund the Toby Keith Foundation and OK Kids Korral, a cost-free home for families of children dealing with critical illnesses. His 11 USO Tours to date have been recognized with the Spirit of the USO Award (2014). And when a tornado ravaged his hometown, Toby Keith was the face of the community and helped shoulder the cleanup with the 2013 OK Twister Relief Concert. Triple threat? How about singer, songwriter, musician, producer, entertainer, humanitarian, Oklahoman and patriot. For starters.

TOBY KEITH'S NEW SINGLE RAISES A CELEBRATORY GLASS TO 'DRUNK AMERICANS"

PRESS RELEASE

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Singer, songwriter and entertainer Toby Keith is making a splash with brand new music timed to wet the whistle of fans with his latest track "Drunk Americans," which releases to country radio and will also be available everywhere for digital download on October 14.

Written by Brandy Clark, Bob DiPiero and Shane McAnally, the song celebrates those communal moments when glasses go up and the barriers that separate us all come down. "We ain't east, we ain't west. We ain't left, we ain't right. Ain't black, we ain't white ... we just came here to drink," Keith sings as the tune opens, cheering the folks who "all sing it wrong ... but we all sing along."

Also today (10/6), the #DrunkAmericans Challenge launched on tobykeith.com. Over the next four weeks, fans can enter multiple times

by completing tasks such as sharing a tailgate photo on Instagram, tweeting their favorite lyric from the song and listening to "Drunk Americans." Prizing includes a custom Toby Keith beer pong table, cornhole boards, Yeti cooler and a tailgating tent.

Like his unparalleled catalog of chart-topping music, Toby's new single will fuel a powerful machine that includes acclaimed albums, standing-room-only tours (such as his ongoing Shut Up And Hold On Tour Presented by Ford F-Series) and extended business ventures such as his Wild Shot Mezcal. But such successes pale next to Toby's passion for helping children through his foundation and his tireless work in support of America's fighting men and women.

To that end, last week Keith helped honor combat wounded veteran Damian Schuyler at his Camden, NJ show. Sergeant Schuyler's military retirement is pending following combat related injuries sustained in Afghanistan and Iraq. He was brought onstage during the show to receive a mortgage-free home courtesy of Project Rebuild, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Wells Fargo and the Military Warriors Support Foundation.

PRESS RELEASE

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Show Dog-Universal Music will release the Toby Keith CD set 5 Rounds June 10, and the chart-topping singer, songwriter and entertainer will go a few rounds with media and fans before then. If his recent Canadian run is any indication, he might pay for a few rounds, too.

The 5 Rounds set includes the iconic Oklahoman's album releases from 2008- 2012: That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy, American Ride, Bullets In The Gun, Clancy's Tavern and Hope On The Rocks. Out the week before Father's Day, the collection will be available exclusively as a physical release featuring these classic Toby hits: "She Never Cried in Front of Me," "God Love Her," "American Ride," "Bullets in the Gun," "Beers Ago," and "Red Solo Cup."

In the meantime, Keith's Country Weekly cover story bows this week (May 16) in the issue dated May 26. The Memorial Day theme includes his thoughts on the Spirit of the USO Award he received at the taping for ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute To The Troops. That show - including Toby's performance - airs May 20 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS-TV.

Toby also tells Country Weekly about his upcoming Shut Up And Hold On Tour, presented by Ford F-Series. Launching May 25 at the Tree Town Music Festival in Forest City, IA, the trek includes support from Colt Ford and Keith's daughter Krystal Keith. Fun is guaranteed, and the unexpected is always a possibility.

After one of Keith's two sold-out Mile One Centre show in St. John's, Newfoundland, he took over local bar Kelly's Pub on the famed George Street. Toby spent two hours personally pouring beer for fans ... he even picked up the tab. That may not happen at every tour stop, but adults of legal drinking age wishing for their chance to have a drink with Keith can enter the "Drinks After Work" Sweepstakes being offered by his signature Wild Shot Mezcal. Details at facebook.com/WildShotMezcal/app_143103275748075

Before Toby Keith's rolling party starts in motion, he's giving back with his 11th Annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic on May 16 and 17. Benefitting the Toby Keith Foundation's efforts in support of seriously ill children and their families, the event carries a tradition of great music and one-of-a-kind auction items.

TOBY KEITH TO DEBUT AUSTRALIAN ARENA TOUR IN 2014

Rob Potts Entertainment Edge, Chugg Entertainment and Foxtel's Country Music Channel (CMC)are thrilled to announce that American superstar TOBY KEITH will be making his first ever concert appearances in Australia in 2014, bringing his Hammer Down Under Tour to Australia for a series of massive arena concerts next March. Keith will also headline the 2014 CMC Rocks the Hunter festival at the Hope Estate in NSW's beautiful Hunter Valley.

Joining Keith on the tour will be special guest international stars ELI YOUNG BAND (USA) and KELLIE PICKLER (USA).

CEO of Entertainment Edge, Rob Potts said, "The Outlaws of country music have always been huge with Aussie fans. No surprise this country started out as a convict settlement. So we know why the fans are so excited about Toby's first ever tour here. They love his larrikin outlaw attitude and the fact that he doesn't take himself too seriously. We're super excited to have him touring in March and know the fans will go wild when he rolls out his incredible catalogue of hits. It's also terrific to welcome back Eli Young Band and to have Kellie Pickler on her first visit down under."

Executive Chairman of Chugg Entertainment, Michael Chugg said, "Toby Keith is one of the biggest artists in modern country music. We've been hearing about his rowdy, rockin' live show in this country for many years. One of the biggest songwriters in any genre, Aussie audiences have really connected with his irreverent humour. We still think "he's as good as he once was"- and with three international heavyweights on one bill, this is going to be the country tour of the year -  my mate Jimmy Buffett said he is not to be missed!"

Singer/songwriter TOBY KEITH is one of the most consistently successful artists in country music history, with over 35 million album sales and 31 US No. 1 singles in two decades of recording, including Should've Been A Cowboy, How Do You Like Me Now?!, Beer For My Horses, I Love This Bar, As Good As I Once Was and Red Solo Cup. Winner of multiple CMA, ACM and American Music Awards, the Billboard Country Artist of the Decade is renowned throughout the globe for his swaggering party songs, soulful ballads and rowdy, high-energy live performances.  Toby will also be performing songs from his new album, Drinks After Work, which will be released in Australia on 1 November, 2013.

The ELI YOUNG BAND honed their skills as an Eagles-esque live force in the Texas Red Dirt scene, building up an enviable fan following, before breaking into the mainstream country scene with their album, Level, in 2005. The Southern quartet blew us away in 2012 on their first trip down under and they've since moved into an even higher gear, with hits including the monster smash Crazy Girl, Even If It Breaks Your Heart and their latest release, Drunk Last Night.

Since rocketing to fame on American Idol, KELLIE PICKLER has been charming the public with her inimitable twang, cheeky charisma and powerful country pipes. Her hits include Red High Heels, I Wonder, Don't You Know You're Beautiful and Best Days of Your Life, and she has run the gamut from soul-baring vulnerability to girl power anthems and she constantly reaches for more honest, powerful and dynamic ways to tell her story. The CMT Music Award winner and ACM and CMA nominee, Pickler has also triumphed on television, as the 2013 winner of the US Dancing with the Stars.

KRYSTAL KEITH'S DEBUT SINGLE GOES TO RADIO - "GET YOUR REDNECK ON" FOLLOWS VIRAL VIDEO INTRODUCTION

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Show Dog-Universal recording artist Krystal Keith will introduce her debut single to radio, "Get Your Redneck On," this month. The first official release from her upcoming album Whiskey & Lace follows the Father's Day and wedding sensation "Daddy Dance With Me."

Co-written by Krystal and noted producer Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Shania Twain), "Get Your Redneck On" upends the familiar party anthem conventions for laid-back banjo and steel guitar-fueled river-float drifting:

            Muddy bank between my toes
Kicking back while the river flows
            Wherever the hell it goes
I don't really care to know
I just wanna hear a country song
            And get my redneck on

Keith is currently on her first radio tour in support of the song, though music fans are already becoming familiar with her work. "Daddy Dance With Me," which she co-wrote as a surprise for her father Toby Keith, debuted at her own wedding.

Response was so great, she agreed to share it with her record label and the world. A video for the song generated more than a million views during the wedding season and the Father's Day calendar window.

Recently, the Oklahoma native was honored to perform at the Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert in Norman alongside Willie Nelson, Sammy Hagar, Trisha Yearwood, Ronnie Dunn, Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood and, of course, her father.
