SCOTTY McCREERY PERFORMS “DAMN STRAIT” FROM SAME TRUCK ON NBC’S “TODAY”

New 12-Song Collection Available Everywhere Now

North Carolina Native Surpasses 1 Billion Career Streams on Pandora

Current Single “You Time” Nears Top of the Charts at No. 2

On the heels of releasing his latest album Same Truck on Friday, Sept. 17, multi-platinum selling Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery joined the third hour of NBC’s “TODAY” to perform “Damn Strait,” already a fan-favorite since its release last week ahead of the album’s full release. Watch McCreery perform the song HERE.

Earmarked to be the next single from the album, Rolling Stone has named the song a “Pick of the Week” calling it “clever songwriting, delivered by one of the genres’ best King George disciples. While Billboard praises, “Another ace is the clever track ‘Damn Strait,’ a rare outside cut on the project, penned by Trent Tomlinson and Jim Collins, in which McCreery name checks several of King George's greatest hits.” The Grand Ole Opry debut of the song has garnered over 43K views since its release.

“I had an email from Kevin Herring at my label and he said, ‘Hey, take a listen to this song. It just came through for you,’ and I kind of had a little mini freak out session because I’m a huge George Strait fan,” McCreery shared with Billboard. “I love the different tidbits in there of songs of his... It’s a classic country breakup song, but [it’s also] paying homage to George Strait throughout the song. It’s so cleverly written. If you’re a country fan, a George Strait fan, this song is so cool.”

In addition to celebrating the release of Same Truck with today’s interview and performance, McCreery also talked about being recognized recently with one billion career streams on Pandora and receiving his Billionaire Plaque. Also, McCreery now has been added to the Pandora Country Billionaires station.

On his fifth studio album, the Garner, North Carolina native shifts his perspective to reflect on the last decade of his career and life with wife Gabi and dog Moose, with Tennessean sharing, “McCreery walks a sonic tightrope that leans into his country influences while not abandoning modern Music Row hitmaking,” while Sounds Like Nashville observes, “with 12 tracks in total, those songs ended up showing more maturity than ever, and exploring everything from the common bonds his fans share to the eternal flame of romance.”

Lead single “You Time,” co-written with producers Same Truck producers Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis, follows McCreery’s three consecutive No. 1’s from 2018’s Seasons Change, and continues climbing the charts at Country radio at No. 2 on both the Billboard and Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart.

Same Truck was produced by Rogers, Eshuis and Derek Wells, the team who produced his previous project, the RIAA Gold certified Seasons Change that has sold more than 700,000 copies to date, debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart, and contained his three consecutive No. 1 hits: the Double RIAA Platinum certified “Five More Minutes,” Platinum certified “This is It,” and Gold certified “In Between.” McCreery co-wrote every song on that album.

Track list for Same Truck:

1. Same Truck (Scotty McCreery, Ashley Gorley, Taylor Phillips, Zach Crowell)
2. You Time (Scotty McCreery, Frank Rogers, Aaron Eshuis)
3. It Matters To Her (Scotty McCreery, Rhett Akins, Lee Thomas Miller)

Following his 3rd annual Veterans Day show at City Winery Nashville over the weekend, country music star and 17-year Army and Army Reserves veteran Craig Morgan will travel to New York City to share “The Father, My Son, And The Holy Ghost,” his faith-filled tribute to his son, Jerry, on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna. Watch Craig’s TODAY appearance on Tuesday, November 12 on NBC and find tickets to his Sunday, November 10 City Winery Nashville concert HERE. That same week, Craig will appear as a presenter at “The 53rd Annual CMA Awards,” airing live Wednesday, November 13 at 8/7c on ABC.

“The Father, My Son, And The Holy Ghost,” which Music Row proclaims as a “breathtaking reminder of just how moving great country singing and songwriting can be,” has twice topped the country charts since its release on August 30. The song first made national news this fall, hitting No. 1 on iTunes All Genres Top Songs chart in addition to the Top Country Songs chart with the support of longtime friend and fellow Opry member, Blake Shelton. Shelton launched an unprecedented twitter campaign in support of the song he says he would “gladly give up (his) spot on country radio for.” The viral push gained support from several other artists and celebrities including Blanco Brown, Kelly Clarkson, Luke Combs, Carson Daly, Ellen DeGeneres, Charles Esten, Larry The Cable Guy, Angie Harmon, Gwen Stefani, Cole Swindell, The Today Show and more. In September, Craig reunited with BBR Music Group’s flagship label Broken Bow Records, his record label home for more than six years, and the song again returned to the #1 position on Nielsen Soundscan’s Digital Country chart following his October performance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

TRACE ADKINS CELEBRATES THE RELEASE OF NEW MUSIC WITH A PERFORMANCE OF “WATERED DOWN” MARCH 31 ON “TODAY”

Throughout his decades-long career, Trace Adkins has told his truth and lived with the consequences, so it comes as no surprise that he delivers one of the most raw and honest observations on life on the “other side of 40” in “Watered Down” the first single from his BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records LP, Something’s Going On March 31 on “Today.”

In the slow-burning rumination on achieving insight with age, Adkins is fully aware of the adjustments and boundaries, but still maintains his edge, grit and power as an artist. It is the cut Adkins points to as the truest reflection of his career and life to date.

“That’s one of those songs where I smacked myself on the forehead and went, ‘Wow, I should’ve written that!’” Adkins says of hearing the song for the first time. “It is all autobiographical. It really is. I’ve never done a record and finished it and said, ‘OK, this is my favorite cut off this album.’ But this time, there’s no bones about it. This is my favorite cut. It just is. It speaks to my soul.”

With lyrics as emotionally clutching as, “We still fly like gypsies/Just a little closer to the ground” fans will hear Adkins’ conviction for themselves on March 31 when Adkins premieres “Watered Down” on “Today” (9:00 AM-hour). The new single “Watered Down” debuted immediately on the Billboard Country Single Chart this week and was the fourth most-added song on the Mediabase Country Airplay Chart.

It is a milestone song and album worth celebrating. Adkins has sold more than 11 million albums, received three GRAMMY nominations and collected dozens of major motion pictures and television credits. His latest music, the much-anticipated Something’s Going On – his 12th studio album – marks Adkins’ first album release on his new label, BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records. Fans can view the lyric video HERE, featuring Adkins enjoying a simpler life and slower pace on his Nashville farm.

It’s been four years since Adkins’ last studio album Love Will… released in 2013, which debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, and fans have eagerly awaited this follow up ever since. Some of Nashville’s favorite and most respected songwriters contributed to the range and inspiration of Something’s Going On, boasting credits such as Tyler Farr, Craig Campbell and Shane McAnally to name a few. Something’s Going On was produced by Mickey Jack Cones.

Adkins is in the midst of his 2017 tour where he is on track to play more than 75 dates this year. VIP packages are available for select tour dates. As a gift to his fans, Adkins is offering a physical copy of Something’s Going On with each ticket order. Visit www.traceadkins.com for full details.

In recent years, Adkins has performed for our service men and women across 11 USO Tours, with his 12th scheduled for spring 2017. In his 2007 autobiography, A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck, he recounted his rise to fame, brushes with death and battles with personal demons. Adkins has played a tough-as-nails biker in The Lincoln Lawyer (starring Matthew McConaughey), a desperate father in Deepwater Horizon (starring Mark Wahlberg) and a wise oracle of a tattoo artist in the family-friendly film Moms' Night Out (starring Patricia Heaton, Sean Astin, Sarah Drew).

LOCASH MAKES MORNING SHOW DEBUT ON NBC'S TODAY SHOW WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH AND LATE NIGHT DEBUT ON ABC'S JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE! WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16TH

One of the feel good stories in country music during the past year is the success story of Reviver Records recording duo LOCASH. Consisting of Preston Brust and Chris Lucas, they've watched as “I Love This Life,” has climbed all the way to No. 2 on the Billboard airplay chart.

Watching the rise of the song, which was co-written by veteran songwriter Danny Myrick and Academy of Country Music Awards nominee Chris Janson, has been a moment that the duo will never forget.

“Hard work is really starting to pay off for us,” says Chris Lucas. “We have been seeing the response live. People are singing it back to us. It’s an amazing feeling, for sure.” Brust agrees, adding, “Every day is so exciting. I know this sounds like a cliché, but dreams do come true. We have worked so hard to get to this point. It’s so surreal.”

And, with 2016 in gear, the good times are only going to get better. On February 24, LOCASH will make their network morning show debut on NBC’s The Today Show from New York City, and will guest on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live just a few weeks later, on March 16.

The Today Show is one of the most iconic network shows of all time,” says Brust. “When you think about all of the artists that have gotten a chance to showcase their talents on that platform, you realize just how lucky you are.” As far as the Kimmel appearance, Lucas says it’s just more of their goals being realized. "Come on, late-night network television, man! Who doesn’t dream of that? We’re just so blessed and grateful for everything that is going on right now with our careers, and our team that has gotten us where we are. I think if you talked to Preston or me, either one of us would definitely say… 'I Love This Life.'"

LOCASH has also just released their follow-up to their smash hit, with “I Know Somebody” beginning to make an impact at radio.

KRISTIAN BUSH ‘GIVES IT AWAY’ ON NBC’S TODAY SHOW

Multi-Platinum Artist Performed Hit Single “Trailer Hitch”
and Announced New Partnership with Goodwill®

Debut Solo Album SOUTHERN GRAVITY Forthcoming On Streamsound Records

PRESS RELEASE

Nashville, TN (October 27, 2014) – Multi-platinum recording artist Kristian Bush performed his Top 35-and-climbing hit “Trailer Hitch” on NBC’s TODAY show this morning and announced an exciting new partnership with Goodwill Industries International.

Watch the video here: http://www.today.com/video/today/56310567#56310567.

The partnership is inspired by “Trailer Hitch,” which reminds us that we collect so many things that we don’t need, and we can’t take it with us when we go… so why not “give it away”? The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness of Goodwill’s mission to transform lives through the power of creating jobs.

“When I learned more about Goodwill® and what they do with the proceeds from donations -- how those donations help create jobs -- I was really excited to join the effort,” said Bush. “If you are interested in creating change in your community, donating to Goodwill is a great place to start. It is so much more than a thrift shop."

By using the catchy, irresistible hook of “Trailer Hitch,” Bush will join Goodwill in spreading the word that when fans “give it away” to Goodwill, the revenue from the sale of donated clothing, electronics, and small household goods goes directly to help find employment for people in their communities with disabilities or disadvantages.

“Trailer Hitch” brings Bush’s voice to the foreground and is the lead single from his forthcoming debut solo album, SOUTHERN GRAVITY (Streamsound Records), executive produced by Byron Gallimore.

Bush has been leaving his mark on music for more than two decades. The singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist started his career with folk rock duo Billy Pilgrim in the early '90s, releasing a much-lauded pair of albums for Atlantic Records (self-titled debut and BLOOM). In 2004, he exploded onto the country music scene with Sugarland, surpassing sales of over 22 million albums worldwide, achieving five No. 1 singles and winning numerous awards, including GRAMMYs, AMAs, ACMs, CMT Music Awards and CMAs. To date, Bush garnered six BMI Awards for his songwriting, and in 2011 founded the music publishing company and songwriting collective Songs of the Architect. Recent producing/songwriting collaborations include Mike Elizondo, Rita Wilson, Dia Frampton, Ellis Paul, Matt Nathanson, the dB’s, Martin Johnson of Boys Like Girls, Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, and up-and-comers including Larkin Poe, Natalie Stovall, Canaan Smith, Jaida Dreyer, Alana Springsteen, and The Voice contestant Savannah Berry.

2STEEL GIRLS TO PERFORM ON NBC’S TODAY SHOW ON FRIDAY, MAY 10

Mother/Daughter Duo From Season Three of NBC’s The Voice (Team Blake) To Debut Their First Single “Train Wreck”

NASHVILLE, TN - May 6, 2013 - Allison and Krystal Steel, the mother/daughter duo 2Steel Girls, will be celebrating Mother’s Day a little early when the independent singer/songwriters get the opportunity of a lifetime to debut their first single “Train Wreck” on NBC’s TODAY on Friday, May 10. Allison co-wrote “Train Wreck” with hit songwriter Bridgette Tatum (Jason Aldean’s “She’s Country”).

The country/rock duo, who Rolling Stone claims “their voices are gorgeous together,” has created and continues to build an extremely loyal and supportive fan base from their memorable time on NBC’s The Voice to their performances on Hallmark Channel’s popular “Home and Family” show to singing on CMA Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton’s recent Christmas album. They have garnered over one million video views on YouTube and continue to tour. 2Steel Girls’ fans have been so supportive and active that the producers of TODAY, who have named them a ‘country favorite,’ called 2Steel Girls and invited them to debut their new single. Their fans stepped up again by donating above and beyond to Allison and Krystal’s Kickstarter campaign to partially fund the making of their debut album.

“We are extremely excited to be on the Today Show!” said daughter Krystal Steel. “We never imagined something like this was possible for us right now in our career. It's not often that an unsigned artist gets such a wonderful opportunity.”

“We can not thank each and every one of our fans enough for their continuing support in all that we do,” added Allison. “We are blown away by their commitment, encouragement and unwavering support in help making our dreams come true.”

The Columbia, TN duo who MTV calls a “force to be reckoned with” was discovered when NBC talent scouts discovered a 2Steel Girls performance online in 2011 and were invited to do a private audition for The Voice. They eventually made it through over 45,000 of other contestants and found themselves as contestants on “Team Blake.” Since their season of The Voice ended in December 2012, the duo has been writing and recording new music for their debut album which is expected for an early summer release.

2Steel Girls are as solid and proven as the family ties that bind them. Some of music’s biggest superstars have weighed in saying:

“It’s power, like a freight train of angry, jilted women.” - Maroon 5’s frontman Adam Levine

“[2Steel Girls] singing is just so unbelievable.” and “I’ve got a really good feeling about [2 Steel Girls]!” - CMA Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton

“[2Steel Girls] have some powerful voices” - Christina Aguilera
