KENNY CHESNEY - BEYOND THE STADIUMS

Announcing 21 Amphitheaters for the More Intimate Experience

Everyone knows: nobody does stadium shows like Kenny Chesney! With an armful of No. 1s, a high-energy band and the energy to throw his songs to the seats at the top of the other end zone, The Wall Street Journal crowned him “The King of the Road.” But for the songwriter/superstar from East Tennessee, there is an intimacy – and an exhale -- that comes with amphitheater shows that offer an equally important experience the No Shoes Nation demands.

“Nothing’s like the energy of a stadium show,” Chesney admits. “But there’s also something about the amphitheaters, where the people are all so close. It’s like being with your friends somewhere back home, singing songs and hanging out, and having the best party of the year. For us, it feels like the people are so right there, and the songs are driving the night. It’s an experience we know No Shoes Nation loves and misses when we don’t do it, so this year, we’re going to make sure there are plenty of opportunities to see us under the pavilion or out on the lawn.”

While the tour kicks off April 21 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, look for the more intimate amphitheater plays to begin May 10 at Virginia Beach’s Farm Bureau Live, May 11 at Charlotte, NC’s PNC Music Pavilion and May 12 at Raleigh, NC’s Coastal Credit Union Music Park. The 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour will thread between massive stadium shows and the more streamlined concerts throughout the summer – and see Chesney create two very different kinds of concert experiences.

“Part of the fun of mixing the venues is riding the energy, letting the music breathe in different ways and really giving the audience dynamics that are so intense without being the same show across America,” Chesney explains. “The amphitheaters all have their own vibes, their own attitude – and those experiences shift very specifically. Darling’s Waterfront in Bangor, Maine is one thing; Mountain View, California’s Shoreline Amphitheater is something else altogether, just like the folks in Toronto at the Molson or Austin’s Austin360 Amphitheaters.”

With Chesney returning to a full touring calendar after creating more seats at Boston’s Gillette Stadium – to break the attendance record with 121,624 people over two nights – Chesney’s passion to play is at a new high. Energized by the response to Cosmic Hallelujah, The Big Revival, and the hits “American Kids,” “Noise,” “Save It for a Rainy Day” and “All the Pretty Girls,” the 8-time Entertainer of the Year is fired up and focused.

“I feel like this summer, we’re going to take those songs on Live in No Shoes Nation, and lift them even higher,” Chesney says. “Listening to it over and over, hearing everyone’s voices raised… It’s what makes coming out to see us special! When you get to hear all that heart, all that fun, and life, and love coming towards the stage, it really takes our breath away. So, get ready America: we’re coming! Stadiums, amphitheaters, and a whole lot of music.”

Keeping the focus on songwriting and crowd-pleasing, Chesney tapped Old Dominion, the 2015 Academy of Country Music New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year winners, for his amphitheater evenings.

KENNY CHESNEY'S LAST FOUR OF 2017

Final 2017 Shows Presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum On Sale April 14: 2 Shows for the South, 2 for the Northeast

With a second Gillette Stadium show added and close to sold-out, the hunger for that live Kenny Chesney summer experience is pronounced. Though there’s a handful of festival plays on the calendar for this year, Chesney announces four more intimate shows to round out his 2017 live schedule: Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on Aug. 4 and The Wharf Amphitheatre in Orange Beach, Ala. on Aug. 5, followed by two nights at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. on Aug. 10 and 11. All shows this summer are presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum.

“As long as we’re rehearsing and I’ve got new music in the pipeline, I can’t imagine not playing a little bit,” says Chesney. “I know that it takes time off to create and make records… to write and find songs like ‘American Kids’ and ‘Noise,’ but that doesn’t mean I don’t miss the fans. There is nothing that feeds me more than hearing the sound of the No Shoes Nation singing these songs, seeing those faces and knowing this is gonna be one of those nights.”

Having closed 2016’s Spread the Love Tour with 121,399 cheering New Englanders at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., along with hitting the half-million mark at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey’s Meadowlands, Chesney had one of his biggest touring years – despite playing fewer dates than he has in previous years. As he says of those shows, “I can still hear the crowds when I close my eyes at night. Just when I think it can’t get any bigger or louder, the No Shoes Nation comes at me with these songs, singing and cheering and showing me how much life we can live in three minutes.”

With “Bar at the End of the World” cresting the Top 10 in the wake of the GRAMMY-nominated two week No. 1 “Setting the World on Fire” with P!nk, Cosmic Hallelujah is continuing Chesney’s intent to sing songs that capture the lives, loves, triumphs and escapes of his fans. Raised in a small town in East Tennessee, his songs have become the soundtrack of coming of age across America. NPR praised Cosmic Hallelujah for encompassing “folk's storytelling, soul's honesty and gospel's spirit,” while Newsday deemed it “country perfection” and the Boston Globe wrote, “A country artist, he’s working a wider sonic palette, that incorporates ideas from the stadium-rockers with whom he shares dressing rooms and the rollicking Nashville bars that still loom large in country music’s imagination. Bringing the two ideas together results in the album’s best songs.”

While 2017’s shows are limited, Chesney will bring everything he’s got to these dates. For fans of the 8-time Entertainer of the Year’s high-energy concerts, Alabama and Connecticut are the places to be in August for two outdoor amphitheater and two indoor arena shows, respectively.

“We’re gonna bring a whole year’s worth of energy,” Chesney promises. “So if you’re coming, you better be ready for it, because this is our chance in 2017 to rock.”

General tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, April 14 starting at 10 a.m. local time. More information: here.

NEW DATES INCLUDE STOPS IN DENVER, NEW ORLEANS, ATLANTA, MALAYSIA

CONCERT REVIEW/EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: THE OAK RIDGE BOYS BRING THE REASON FOR THE SEASON TO ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC

The Oak Ridge Boys brought their Celebrate Christmas tour to Roanoke Rapids, NC on 12/14/16 and with them, brought the meaning of Christmas and the joy of friends and family. Joe Bonsall, Duane Allen, Richard Sterban and William Lee Golden brought harmony to a capacity crowd in more ways than one. They gave us a reason to turn off the world around us for just a little while and turn our focus back to the love of Christ, the joy of Santa Claus and the joy that being together and celebrating through music brings.

If you've never seen an Oaks Christmas show, you've missed out on one of the best live shows on the road during the holidays. They truly make it an experience and so much more than just another show. It's memories of Christmas morning and the wonder of a child, it's an excited appreciation for the meaning of Christmas and it's a warm familiar feeling of home in your heart. The children in the audience leave with smiles on their faces and the adults leave feeling like they were kids again themselves. This year's Christmas tour included 34 shows, in 31 cities, in 18 states. In total, the Oak Ridge Boys performed 161 shows in 2016. These guys won't stop and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

In the beautiful Roanoke Rapids Theater, the stage is adorned with simply lit white Christmas trees and various backgrounds of red, green and white holiday images, the Mighty Oaks Band is in place, and the Oak Ridge Boys put on a performance we won't soon forget that included hits like EVERYDAY, AMERICAN MADE, COME ON IN, GONNA TAKE A LOT OF RIVER, NOTHING BETWEEN US (BUT LOVE ANYMORE), Y'ALL COME BACK SALOON, LEAVIN' LOUISIANA IN THE BROAD DAYLIGHT, ROLL TENNESSEE RIVER and THANK GOD FOR KIDS and that was just their first set! After an hour or so of their most well known songs, they left the stage for a quick intermission and set change and then the Christmas merriment began. They delighted the audience with familiar Christmas favorites like CHRISTMAS TIME’S A COMIN’, JINGLE BELLS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, A CHRISTMAS LOVE SONG, BLUE CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS COOKIES, THAT’S WHAT I LIKE ABOUT CHRISTMAS, SANTA CLAUS IS REAL

They left nothing out, including snow falling from the rafters and a visit from Santa Claus himself who handed out presents to the youngest fans who were more than eager to accept and get a hug from the man in red and then once Santa headed back to his workshop, there was yet another set change. The crew rolled out a huge roaring fireplace complete with stockings on the mantle, large green decorated Christmas trees and 4 rocking chairs. Joe, Duane, Richard and William Lee sat in front of the fireplace and shared their favorite personal Christmas memories and sang SILENT NIGHT, BEAUTIFUL STAR OF BETHLEHEM, and THAT’S CHRISTMAS TO ME. This is everyone's favorite part of the show, we shared laughs and some of us even shed tears thinking of our own personal memories. The night unfortunately had to eventually come to an end with a few final songs - REST IN YOU TONIGHT, MARY DID YOU KNOW, COME TO THE MANGER, JESUS IS BORN TODAY and JOY TO THE WORLD. This may have been the end of another year for the Oak Ridge Boys, but with the start of the new year comes a beginning of even more shows, more fun, more friendship and more love. It's just another page in the story of the Oak Ridge Boys and each chapter leaves fans anxious for the next one.

There truly is something magical about an Oak Ridge Boys Christmas show. I don't know if it's the nostalgia for the days when we were kids and didn't have a care in the world other than ripping wrapping paper off beautifully decorated boxes to see what waited inside or if it was the feeling of love that seems to wrap the entire audience in a warm embrace or maybe a little of both. What I do know is that there's no other show like an Oak Ridge Boys Christmas and my Christmas wish for you is that you take the time to experience it if it comes to your town. It is a gift in itself and one of the best gifts you can give yourself.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

COLLIN RAYE CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF HITS ON U.S. TOUR

25 years after Collin Raye shot to fame with the timeless No. 1 hit “Love, Me,” the country sensation is still considered one of the hardest working acts in the business, with a heavy multi-state touring schedule, including a Mexican Riviera Cruise, remaining in latter part of 2016. Raye is bringing his exciting and uplifting live show across the U.S. to celebrate a quarter-century of success in the industry.

Further proving his staying-power and impact on the genre, Collin Raye was recently named to the list of Billboard’s ‘Greatest of All-Time Country Artists.’ Considered one of the greatest voices of our time, his aforementioned hit “Love, Me” was also named No. 68 on Billboard’s ‘Greatest of All-Time Country Songs.’

On The Big 25 Tour, the energizing showman performs vivid rockers like “My Kind Of Girl,” “I Can Still Feel You,” “That’s My Story” and “Little Red Rodeo.” Fans can also look forward to hearing his smooth tenor on iconic ballads like “In This Life,” “One Boy, One Girl” and many more.

Raye has built a career on songs with an emotional connection to listeners that other acts of the era can only dream of. In 1994, the music video for the poignant hit “Little Rock” led to more than 100,000 calls to Alcoholics Anonymous from people seeking help for their addictions. The song and video for “I Think About You” exposed the exploitation of women and children, earning Raye the award for “Video of the Year” from the Academy of Country Music in 1997.

In addition to impacting lives with his issue-oriented music, Raye has utilized his stardom to advance social causes through his tireless charity work. He has supported organizations like Special Olympics, Parade of Pennies, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and The Tennessee Task Force Against Domestic Violence, as well as founding the Haley Bell Blessed Chair Foundation to honor the memory of his granddaughter.

Fans are anxiously awaiting Raye’s soon-to-be released “Silver Anniversary Album” to commemorate his 25 years in country music, featuring new recordings of his greatest hits. Most recent projects for the ten-time Male Vocalist of the Year nominee include a tribute to Glenn Campbell, Still On The Line, an inspirational album, His Love Remains, and his first autobiography A Voice Undefeated. BELLAMY BROTHERS GLOBAL CAREER CONTINUES DURING 40TH ANNIVERSARY

Iconic Duo Only U.S. Country Music Act Ever to Perform in India, Sri Lanka, New Caledonia and Qatar

2016 Stops Include Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and More

2016 marks the 40th anniversary of the release of “Let Your Love Flow,” the 1976 classic that launched the recording career of The Bellamy Brothers. Since that iconic song was first issued, Howard and David Bellamy have created one of the most successful careers in the history of Country Music. With 27 Top 10 and 14 No. 1 singles among a catalog that includes “Redneck Girl,” “Old Hippie,” and “Kids Of The Baby Boom,” the duo have consistently released hit after hit over the past four decades in the United States.

But, that only tells a mere fraction of the story of The Bellamy Brothers. A close look at their concert schedules over the past two decades reveals one of the most global careers in the history of country music. The duo has taken their music to a wide variety of countries across the world over the years – including stops in Germany, Norway, and Sweden. The Bellamy Brothers performed a sold-out string of shows with Swiss superstar Gola – adding his name to a list of collaborators over the years that has included Neil Diamond, Dolly Parton, George Jones and Blake Shelton. In Switzerland, their crowds numbered into the 35,000 range, as well – demonstrating their international appeal.

In addition, the Bellamy Brothers have taken their music to places where no other country act has ever performed, such as Qatar, Sri Lanka, New Caledonia and even India. In fact, one of their classic hits there made an impact on the audience unlike any the duo has ever seen in the states.

In a 2014 interview with Billboard, David recalled that on one of their India visits that “People came up to us and asked 'Are you going to do the 'first dance' song? We weren't sure what they were talking about, but it was 'Beautiful Body' because they use it as the first dance song at weddings. You never know how someone will interpret a song, I guess," he said. Of course, the song that he is referring to is their first number one Country hit, 1979’s “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me).”

And, as The Bellamy Brothers gear up for their next forty years, they are keeping their close ties with their fans abroad. In 2016, the duo will be returning to Switzerland, as well as making stops in Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and Norway. Howard and David take a lot of pride in pleasing the audience – regardless of which continent their feet are planted on.”

“We have been very blessed to have taken our music to a lot of venues and destinations that have always surprised us,” said Howard Bellamy. “Regardless of where we might be, what makes each night special is that relationship with the fans, and getting to hear them sing along. After all,” he reasons, ‘Redneck Girls’ are everywhere.

KENNY CHESNEY NAMED ONE OF BILLBOARD'S TOP 5 TOURING ACTS OF 2015

Only Country Act Along w Taylor Swift, 1-D, U2 & the Stones

Credit: Jill Trunnell

NEW YORK, N.Y. – (Dec. 15, 2015) - When Kenny Chesney took his 2015 The Big Revival Tour on the road, he wanted to rock as many people as humanly possible. With just 57 dates, albeit 23 stadiums, the man The Wall Street Journal called “The King of the Road” was the only country act making Billboard’s Top 5 Touring Acts of 2015 – alongside Taylor Swift, One Direction, U2 and the Rolling Stones.

Beyond the dollars, Chesney played to the third highest number of fans – 1,335,022 – after list-topper Swift’s 1,982,076 for 71 shows and No. 2 One Direction's 2,337,938 for 80 shows. Summer after summer, the 4-time Country Music Association and 4-time Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year remains focused on rocking the No Shoes Nation for all they’re worth.

“Every year when we hit the road, I’m trying to figure out how to bring it harder, play more music and make it a night the people who live their lives in the songs will remember,” says the high-impact songwriter who’s sold in excess of a million tickets each of his 13 headlining tours since 2002. “We’ve been doing this enough years, that you know you have to really bring it to just compete with what you’ve already done. And it’s about the music you’re making now, as well as the ability to bring it when you hit the stage every night.”

Hailed as “Two parts Mick Jagger, one part Bruce Springsteen and one part Billy Graham” by The Dallas Morning News, Chesney’s The Big Revival broke nine records this summer – including several of his own – one being 120,206 fans over two nights at Gillette Stadium, marking his 12th and 13th show at the home of the New England Patriots.

“People want to rock, to have a good time and forget their problems,” Chesney explains. “But they’re not looking to mindlessly spend the night. They come to remember the moments that mattered to them – and maybe make a few more memories in the process – and I’ve been lucky that my songs have reflected how the No Shoes Nation lives their lives on every level.”

Having a new record that yielded four consecutive No. 1’s doesn’t hurt. In addition to the GRAMMY- and CMA-nominated, multiple-week No. 1 “American Kids,” he had “Til It’s Gone,” the CMA Musical Event nominee “Wild Child” with Grace Potter and the three week chart-topper “Save It for a Rainy Day,” all songs that show his creative fire matches his unrelenting passion for his near legendary live shows.

The Big Revival also is the eighth time Chesney has won Top Package at Billboard’s annual Touring Awards. The man, who has brought Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Zac Brown Band and Dierks Bentley out with him, tapped Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Old Dominion, Cole Swindell and Chase Rice out this summer. His sold out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field with Miranda Lambert inspired Chesney to tap his former tour mate for his upcoming 2016 tour of stadiums, amphitheaters, arenas and a few festivals.

“Making records is incredible,” Chesney offers about the music’s spark. “But it’s onstage where the connection happens and the spark pops. You take the songs out to the fans, and you realize how much they mean. When you bring all you’ve got, and they throw even more energy back at you, there’s nothing like it! We don’t tour for this kind of recognition, but it’s sure nice to know when you have fans as committed as the No Shoes Nation, they’re being recognized for how much they bring to our tours! They fly all over… meet up… and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”

KENNY CHESNEY AND BAND HEAD TO SPRING TRAINING THIS WEEK

With Chesney’s The Big Revival Tour Set to Kick-Off March 26, Musicians Are Gearing Up

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 18, 2015) - It’s not just baseball players shaking off the off-season. As the sport’s biggest stars head to the Cactus and Grapefruit Leagues to gear up for the Major and American League Baseball season, country music’s biggest star is bringing his band together for their first musical rehearsals in over two years.

With The Big Revival Tour slated to be one of Chesney’s biggest and most musical yet, the 4-time CMA and 4-time ACM Entertainer of the Year is locking down for four full weeks before the band kicks things off with a sold-out two night stand at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena March 26-27. Nearly two-dozen NFL-sized stadiums plays slated will be part of this year’s tour – and the songwriter/superstar can’t wait to get back out there.

“I’ve always said we’re a lot like a baseball team,” Chesney admits. “We’re six months on, six months off... and a lot of time to get ready. But you know, when it’s all heart and so physically demanding, there’s really no other way to do this.

“When we rolled into Pensacola last year for the FloraBamaJama, I was amazed how well we all came together. But it also showed how hungry everybody was to play. I knew when we all got back together, it would rock. So I can’t wait to get into the room with everybody.”

Having spent a year creating The Big Revival, his 13th No. 1 Billboard Country release, Chesney has been able to devote the same time to crafting this year’s show. Look for new songs, old songs and some surprises as well as the inclusion of the Academy of Country Music Single, Song and Video of the Year nominee “American Kids.”

“It’s funny how much energy this new music has brought to everybody,” Chesney marvels. “You don’t realize until you stop what the treadmill feels like, and when you really challenge yourself to push the music... You find things like ‘American Kids,’ ‘Rock Bottom’ and write things like ‘Wild Child.’ That freshness in the music is something I think every single band member has commented to me about.”

Having already yielded his 25th and 26th No. 1s with the two week chart-topper “American Kids” and “’Til It’s Gone,” “Wild Child,” Chesney’s duet with hippie rocker Grace Potter, moved ten spots – from No. 36 to No. 26 at Billboard and No. 43 to No. 33 on Mediabase – in only its third week.

Rolling Stone recognized the renewed verve of The Big Revival, writing it “continuously brings a sense of emotional urgency.” Certainly it’s something the man The Wall Street Journal called “The King of the Road” is sensing.

“When we were talking about what songs to play, a couple of us were imaging how the fans are going to respond to the new stuff – and everyone was like ‘Oh, yeah...’ Because I think as fired up as the crowds have always been, this year’s set is going to take everything to a whole other level. And that’s one thing about the No Shoes Nation: they come to have the time of their lives – and the beauty of my band is they’re determined to make it the best night of the summer.”

Chesney, who has sold over a million tickets each of his headlining tours, is the only country act in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years. The Big Revival Tour, presented by Corona Light and sponsored by Blue Chair Bay, looks to be no exception.

AMERICAN LEGACY TOUR LANDS IN BIRMINGHAM NOV 8 - FEATURING RONNIE MCDOWELL, CONFEDERATE RAILROAD, THE FLORIDA BOYS, LEE GIBSON, AMBER HAYES, KALISA EWING, MATT HOGGATT, DOYLE GRISHAM AND TARA PRIEST.

PRESS RELEASE

Birmingham, AL – October 31, 2014 - The American Legacy Tour comes to Workplay Theatre in Birmingham, Saturday, November 8 (Veteran’s Day weekend). The tour features national touring talents Confederate Railroad, Ronnie McDowell, The Florida Boys, Amber Hayes, Kalisa Ewing, Matt Hoggatt, Lee Gibson, Coral Reefer Doyle Grisham and Tara Priest. The event is hosted by Horizons Financial Insurance Group.

“Here’s an event that is just plain fun,” said organizer Jim Nix of Horizons Financial Insurance Group. “Plus, it’s for a great cause! All profits plus $5 of every ticket goes directly to ‘Singing for a Change’, a charity started by Jimmy Buffett 15 years ago to help communities make positive change.”

The concert begins at 8:30pm.

“It’s a concert filled with hit after hit after hit,” said Mike Mashburn of Horizons. “Just take Confederate Railroad. Songs like ‘Elvis and Andy’, ‘Trashy Women’, ‘Queen of Memphis’, ‘Jesus and Mama’ and ‘Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind’ just to name a few has made this band legendary!

“Then, you have Ronnie McDowell with over 11 million records sold. Songs like ‘Older Women, ‘Watching Girls Go By’, ‘The King is Gone’, ‘Personally’, ‘Unchained Melody’ has made him one of the most successful music artists ever.”

Jim Carter of Horizons continued, “The Florida Boys will be there as well. Since 1947, the group has been at the top of southern gospel music. Then you have the Buffett influence of Coral Reefer Doyle Grisham who has worked with Jimmy since 1971. Also on Jimmy’s Mailboat Records label is Matt Hoggatt, who received national recognition with his song, ‘Dear Jimmy Buffett.’

“Nashville newcomers Amber Hayes, Lee Gibson, Tara Priest, and Kalisa Ewing are also on the bill to round out one incredible night.”
American Legacy Tour producer Danny Rasberry said he had a reason for putting the acts on the road.

“It’s about positive change. Last year, we gave money to the ‘homeless veterans’ cause. We run the tour around Veteran’s Day to honor their service and to show our grateful appreciation for their sacrifice in making our world safer and free. In addition, we’re thrilled to have Horizons Financial Insurance Group host our event.
“This concert is fast moving and is full of great music and national talent. Hard to find this type of entertainment on any stage and we’re happy to bring it to WorkPlay in Birmingham this November.”

Tickets are on sale by going to www.americanlegacytour.com or at www.workplay.com. For additional information call 205-871-7743.

KENNY CHESNEY TAKES THE BIG REVIVAL ON THE ROAD

Get Ready for the Eight-Time Entertainer of the Year’s Biggest Tour Yet

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 24, 2014) – After a year making The Big Revival, his 13th #1 Country Album debut, Kenny Chesney is ready to get back to the fans. With the multiple week #1 “American Kids” and “Til Its Gone” currently sitting at #18 on Billboard’s Country Singles chart, his new music has reinvigorated the No Shoes Nation.

Now Chesney returns to where he draws inspiration, energy and a reason to believe in the power of music: his 2015 tour! The man The Wall Street Journal deemed “The King of the Road” mixes it up playing arenas, amphitheaters and stadiums. He kicks off on March 26, his birthday in Nashville -- and also teams with presenting sponsor Corona Light to do it.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate,” Chesney, who confirmed he’s bringing The Big Revival Tour to America today on ABC's Good Morning America, says. “I’ve been ready to get out there for a long time. Now that we’re announced I’m fired up! This new music brings a new energy to the show, and it’s gonna take what we do to a whole other level.

Impressive considering each of his headlining tours since 2002 has sold over a million tickets– making him the only country act in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Past 25 Years. That’s a strong showing, given Chesney’s only been headlining half that time.

“We’re going to be mixing up the line-up, too: different markets will have different acts playing with us. A few will be on all the stadium shows, some doing pieces – but I promise everybody who’s coming out rocks hard, and understands turning a crowd on.”

Chesney knows how to pick’em. Over the years, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood have supported Chesney’s full-tilt tours, as well as beyond genre artists Grace Potter and Uncle Kracker.

“This is really about us and the fans... the fact that every year, so many people make their summer about coming to see us. I’ve missed that sense of community and that passion for the music. There’s gonna be some stuff from the new record and songs people haven’t heard in a while. There’s gonna be a whole lot of music and some surprises…

“I didn’t know if I could take the music as far as we were able with the album. That’s the beauty of giving things time to be what they’re meant to. We’re already working on next year’s video. I’ve seen the stage – and the lights. As the set list comes together, and we start locking down rehearsals, this is gonna be a wild night. I hope the fans are ready.”

Rolling Stone echoes that, saying The Big Revival “continuously brings a sense of musical energy and emotional urgency...” and Billboard raved it “captures the zeitgeist of American youth in a way that John Mellencamp once owned.” Look for this year’s tour to offer the same kind of energy, intensity and excitement.

“Because of the number of artists we’re pulling into this tour, the roll out is a little trickier, but I think it’s going to be worth the wait and the finding out. Rather than locking in one thing, I wanted to make each market the best it could be. People will be fired up when they see who’s playing where. That means, there’s more news to come... A lot of our favorite cities are on the list, so are some places we’ve never been. Get ready!”

Initial 2015 Tour Dates Announced; Church to make triumphant return to the iconic Madison Square Garden stage October 17

Church to perform “Talladega” from The Outsiders tonight on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (11:35p ET/10:35 CT)

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Wednesday, Oct. 15 – Eight long years ago, Eric Church stepped foot onto the stage of the legendary Madison Square Garden and changed the trajectory of his career forever. At the time, his debut album Sinners Like Me was receiving critical acclaim and his debut single “How Bout You” was climbing the charts and as opener for a country trio on a chilly October 14, 2006 evening, Church was ready to play long and loud and late into the night…or at least that’s how the story goes.

The Chief hasn’t been back since.

Fast forward eight years, and the EMI Nashville recording artist is ready to recreate that long and loud and fateful night. Except this time, the Chief is in charge. Now holding the deserving title of headliner, Church is preparing to take the MSG stage once again on October 17, 2014 in celebration of his top selling album The Outsiders, his rising single “Talledega” and the unveiling of the second leg of Eric Church: The Outsiders World Tour.

The much anticipated and long overdue show in New York City is just one of the many highlights of a year that has found Church tirelessly touring the country, consistently at the top of the charts and serving as the toast of a bevy of award shows. To commemorate his return performance in The Big Apple, Church will also perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Oct. 15 on NBC at 11:35 pm ET/10:35 CT. At the upcoming 48th Annual CMA Awards, airing live on November 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, The Outsiders is nominated for CMA Album of the Year and has also earned Church three additional CMA nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year, as well as both Single of the Year and Song of the Year for his No. 1 hit song “Give Me Back My Hometown.”

Church told The New York Times earlier this year, “I always say that we don’t make these songs for Music Row, we make them for the front row," and both fans and critics agree. A Rolling Stone cover artist, the publication raves The Outsiders World Tour packs "a serious punch," and SPIN Magazine notes "he's the most exciting, sonically fearless singer in Nashville."

And based on the staggering success of The Outsiders World Tour, Church will take on the New Year with the launch of the second leg of the tour in New Orleans on January 8, 2015. The second leg of the 2015 tour will proceed as follows:
