Runaway June will be performing this Friday (7/12) on Fox & Friends as part of the show’s All-American Concert Series. Runaway June’s long-awaited debut album, Blue Roses made its premiere this week as a Top 5 album. Produced by Dann Huff and Ross Copperman the album includes the Top 15 and rising anthemic sing along, "Buy My Own Drinks.” The band will perform that hit this Friday, which recently became the first Top 20 radio single by a Country female band or trio in 14 years, along with other fan favorites.

Since Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne formed four years ago, Runaway June has become an ACM and CMT nominated band, been named to CMT’s “Next Women of Country,” scored major tours and opening slots with some of the biggest names and icons in music (including Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and Carrie Underwood), performed on national TV including the CMA Awards, ACM Awards, CMT Awards and TODAY, and received high praise and raves from dozens of critical outlets, all while constantly digging deeper to fill out a sound that connects them to the tradition of Country music and its devoted fans.

Runaway June is on the road through the fall, supporting seven-time Grammy winner and Pollstar’s three-time top female country touring artist Carrie Underwood on the Cry Pretty Tour 360. The members of Blackberry Smoke are no strangers to hard work and its starting to pay off in big ways. The band, who typically plays up to 250 tour dates a year, will make their late night TV debut TOMORROW, JULY 10 on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Mother/Daughter Duo From Season Three of NBC’s The Voice (Team Blake) To Debut Their First Single “Train Wreck”

 

 

NASHVILLE, TN - May 6, 2013 - Allison and Krystal Steel, the mother/daughter duo 2Steel Girls, will be celebrating Mother’s Day a little early when the independent singer/songwriters get the opportunity of a lifetime to debut their first single “Train Wreck” on NBC’s TODAY on Friday, May 10. Allison co-wrote “Train Wreck” with hit songwriter Bridgette Tatum (Jason Aldean’s “She’s Country”).

The country/rock duo, who Rolling Stone claims “their voices are gorgeous together,” has created and continues to build an extremely loyal and supportive fan base from their memorable time on NBC’s The Voice to their performances on Hallmark Channel’s popular “Home and Family” show to singing on CMA Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton’s recent Christmas album. They eventually made it through over 45,000 of other contestants and found themselves as contestants on “Team Blake.” Since their season of The Voice ended in December 2012, the duo has been writing and recording new music for their debut album which is expected for an early summer release.
