Written by Twisselman, "Breathe" tells the story of heart-wrenching change and the strength required to see it through. The Top 30 MusicRow CountryBreakout™ Chart hit was produced by Tyler Cain, who artfully captured the emotion in Callie's voice and the honesty of its message. Video Producer/Director Brian Harstine of Liquid Crystal Productions chose to use Nashville's historic Cordelle House as the setting for its sense of calming warmth. Accompanied by musicians Zack Runquist and Jason Brooks, Callie shines as she delivers the haunting refrain with an intriguing blend of traditional Mountain Country shaded with Pop nuances:

"I just wanna be myself again and feel the way that I once did

And make all the wrong things right and breathe in tonight

I know these things take time but I don't know if it will ever be alright

People change and that's okay, so I take it day by day

And try to forget your name but my mind doesn't work that way - no"

Callie recalls that painful time in her own life, noting, "I literally poured out my heart and tears on to a piece of paper when I wrote this one. My music is little pieces of who I am - some people write in diaries or go to therapy, I write a song." For Twisselman, this acoustic video represents a chance to share a moment of empowerment with her fans. "This is really about getting back to the person within ... your truest self. I think most people can definitely relate to it," she adds. "I've even had some folks say they felt like the song was literally written for them."

The "Breathe" video premiere follows last month's release of Twisselman's latest Country radio single, "Hung Me On The Line."

Exclusively on USAToday.com Today

Quintet to Embark on HOME FREE FOR THE HOLIDAYS Tour on December 2
Third Studio Album, COUNTRY EVOLUTION, Drops September 18

“Country radio needs you, Home Free.”
– Vulture
“…it comes down to the vocals, and Home Free hits a home run.”
– Star Tribune
“Vocally it’s clear why Home Free won Season Four… [the blend] is spot-on perfect.”
– Cleveland Plain Dealer

Columbia Records’ country quintet Home Free is set to make a splash with the world premiere of their new track and music video, “Fishin’ in the Dark / Down in the Boondocks,” exclusively on USAToday.com today (8/28). The mashup combines Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s classic #1 hit “Fishin’ in the Dark” with Platinum-selling country group Little Big Town’s contemporary “Boondocks.” The song is featured on Home Free’s third studio album, COUNTRY EVOLUTION, due out on September 18.

“When we started brainstorming about what songs evoke the spirit we want to convey on our new album, we thought, what are some of country’s biggest hits? Why not ‘Fishin’ In The Dark’ with something more recent? Little Big Town’s ‘Boondocks’! You wouldn’t think the styles would really mesh, but they do,” said the band’s high tenor, Austin Brown. “We messed around with them for a few weeks and they’re great together. The video is a blast too! We can’t wait for everyone to check it out!”

Directed by FifGen Film’s Reilly Zamber, McKenzie Zamber and Jimmy Bates, the music video splices both thematic and vintage-looking graphics creating a visually exciting pairing of the two hits. For Home Free it is important to reach out and interact with their fans through music videos.

“It’s the biggest factor in reaching the fans,” said Brown in a recent interview with Roughstock. “It’s such a massive platform to be able to showcase what Home Free is all about.”

COUNTRY EVOLUTION is now available for pre-order on iTunes, Amazon and all other major digital retailers. Fans can receive an autographed copy by pre-ordering through their website here.

In the coming months, the band will embark on the 2015 DON’T IT FEEL GOOD Tour and the just-announced HOME FREE FOR THE HOLIDAYS Tour. Kicking off December 2 in Duluth, MN, Home Free will bring fan favorites and holiday jingles from FULL OF CHEER to 15-plus cities nationwide. TASTE OF COUNTRY PREMIERES NEWCOMER DENNY STRICKLAND'S SIZZLING "HOW FAR YOU WANNA GO" VIDEO TODAY

Taste of Country premieres Country newcomer Denny Strickland's sizzling "How Far You Wanna Go" video today.  Producer/Actress Lindsey Labadie (Where The Red Fern Grows, Removed, Desert Friends) helmed the project and drew on the talents of director Caleb Kuhl (Wu-Tang Clan, Tedashii, Dylan Scott) and Emmy Award-winning Director of Photography Isaac Alongi (National Geographic, BBC, Discovery) to round out the visual feast.

Strickland looks confident crooning seductively from a towering Nashville rooftop, while a pair of comely young actors energetically engage the viewer with their on-the-road adventures throughout.  Sparse Mojave Desert and Lancaster, California scenery focuses the eye on the couple, and brings a sense of quiet urgency to the song's title.  Denny loves the video process he says, "because you're painting a picture for the listener.  I also enjoy editing; digging through eight hours of film to find the perfect 'diamond-in-the-rough' two-and-a-half minutes."  The fast chart-rising single, "How Far You Wanna Go," follows his recent Top 40 MusicRow hit, "Swerve On."

An Arkansas native, Denny made his CMA Music Festival debut this year with booth signings at the AT&T U-verse® Fan Fair X, and performances at various Music City hot spots.  He is currently on a radio promotion tour for the new single, and recent features can be found on the following sites:  Billboard, CMA Close Up, MusicRow and Country Music Matters.

Denny's early career was guided by The Statler Brothers' longtime manager (and Bass player for Johnny Cash), Marshall Grant.  Strickland soon found himself sharing the stage with legends Kris Kristofferson, Rosanne Cash and George Jones.  With Grant's passing in 2011, he took a brief hiatus; regrouping and re-focusing his efforts.  An accomplished guitarist and keyboardist, Denny has firmly thrown his hat back in the ring.  He's touring regularly and rising to national prominence with the success of hit single/video "Swerve On."  A former American Quarter Horse Association World Champion Western Pleasure winner (2007), Strickland enjoys riding for pleasure - on both his beloved horses and in his cherished 1968 Camaro.

#VIDEOPREMIERE - OLD DOMINION’S MUSIC VIDEO FOR “BREAK UP WITH HIM” AVAILABLE NOW ON CMT

Old Dominion's music video for their single “Break Up With Him” is out NOW via CMT and on demand across all CMT digital platforms including OldDominion.CMT.com, CMT Pure and the CMT Artists app.

The thematic music video was shot in Nashville, TN during the annual CMA Music Festival in June and was directed by the aptly titled, Director Steve.

Old Dominion is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their debut album set to release via RCA Records Nashville late 2015. The untitled album comes on the heels of the gut-punch self-titled EP, which Rolling Stone Country says is dashed with “fuzzy guitars, catchy licks and even a little rap” and features the back porch smack of the undeniable first radio single “Break Up With Him” and the bruising “Shut Me Up,” and is the product of the five-piece band, which includes singer Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers. They’ve spent eight years honing their craft, each making a name for themselves in Nashville by penning songs for the likes of Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, The Band Perry, Dierks Bentley and Tyler Farr. Now the band that The Tennessean describes as “a humble group of songwriters and musicians who earned their way in the music industry” is out on the road on Kenny Chesney’s The Big Revival Tour for 18 stadium performances plus over 170 tour dates of their own in 2015.

SUNNY SWEENEY PREMIERES “MY BED” VIDEO ON CMT AND CMT.COM ON MARCH 24

Sweeney’s heart-wrenching duet with Will Hoge is the second single off her third studio album Provoked

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (March 24, 2015) – Sunny Sweeney, known for unapologetically real lyrics, bears it all in her vulnerable new single “My Bed,” featuring Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Will Hoge. Sweeney will release the “My Bed” music video as the first video off her album Provoked, and it will premiere exclusively on CMT and CMT.com today, March 24, beginning in the 6 a.m. ET hour. Check out the video here.

Directed by Michael Poncé, the video gives an intimate look into the deterioration of a marriage, portrayed by Sweeney and Hoge. The video features flashback video clips of romantic, happy moments juxtaposed against current footage of the couple as distance grows between them.

“Obviously, I love a song if I’ve ever recorded it. But, not everything becomes a single and even fewer singles become a video,” explained Sweeney. “Will [Hoge]’s vocals really took this song to another level in the studio and now his performance on camera is piercingly captivating for me. Director Michael Poncé captured our vision for this song and we had a great day making this video.”

"Sunny has one of the finest voices around,” expressed Hoge. “I love her songs and how they always seem to paint a picture. The video perfectly captures the true sadness of a relationship falling apart right before your eyes. She's also someone I consider a close friend so the opportunity to get to work with her on this track was an absolute no brainer for me.”

“My Bed” is the second single from Sweeney’s critically acclaimed third studio album, Provoked, which was named as one of the Top 10 Country Albums of 2014 by Rolling Stone.

“It was a great experience working with Sunny and Will on the video for ‘My Bed’,” said Poncé. “Their chemistry together really brought the song and lyrics to life during their performance."

Alan Cackett, editor of Maverick Magazine, gave Provoked rave reviews, writing: "Excellent songwriting abounds ... each song is made with nuggets of intelligent original creativity, and the rootsy production perfectly captures the essence of the songs. It sounds like real, handmade country music, from some world-class makers."

The Washington Post notes, “On her third album, Sweeney sings about lonely hearts, cheating hearts and busted hearts with her chin up, proving she still belongs alongside Miranda Lambert and Gretchen Wilson on Nashville's A-list of no-guff-takers" and No Depression observes that Sweeney “gives voice to a reality lovers often can’t bring themselves to acknowledge — that the intimacy between them has hardened into strangeness.”

Sweeney just came off the road with Miranda Lambert where she opened for select dates on Lambert’s Certified Platinum Tour. The run included a hometown show at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas where Amy McCarthy of The Dallas Observer called Sweeney “an artist who deserves the same type of fame that Lambert has achieved after working it out for years on Texas' stages. [. . .] Sweeney's similar badass Texas girl brand is infectious and enjoyable to listen to... If there has ever been stronger proof that Texas grows the most badass women on the planet than this bill, I'll eat my hat.”

Sweeney is the only female to take the top spot in the last 10 years on the Texas Music Charts, with her last single “Bad Girl Phase.” The single was named No. 12 on Rolling Stone’s Best Country Songs of 2014.

ERIC CHURCH DEBUTS MUSIC VIDEO FOR "TALLADEGA" THIS WEEK

Video Rolls Out First to Church Choir, Vevo.com, and ‘CMT Hot 20 Countdown’ as Single Rises Up Chart

Photographer: John Peets

PRESS RELEASE

Nashville, Tenn. - (Dec. 4, 2014) – This week, Eric Church debuts the music video for his latest hit single, “Talladega.”

Church Choir members will get an exclusive first look at the video today (Thursday, Dec. 4) at EricChurch.com “Talladega” will then premiere Friday(Dec. 5) on Vevo.com and Saturday (Dec. 6 at 11 AM/ET) on “CMT Hot 20 Countdown," before being released to all video outlets on Monday (Dec.8).

“Talladega” is the fourth single from Church’s critically acclaimed 2014 album The Outsiders, a CMA Album of the Year Award nominee. The poignant song looks at memory through the lens of a youthful trip taken to the iconic Alabama racetrack. Like an earlier single from The Outsiders, the chart-topping “Give Me Back My Hometown,” “Talladega” showcases Church’s softer side and his ability to filter shared universal experiences through deeply personal points of view.

The video, directed by Peter Zavadil from a concept by Church’s longtime manager John Peets, arrives as the song is set to break into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. “Talladega” is the North Carolina native’s 14th Top 20 entry on that chart.

“Talladega” weaves performances filmed at Nashville Speedway with a narrative about the passing of time that’s augmented with archival Super 8mm footage of family, celebration and, of course, racetrack scenes. The video’s release caps a stellar year for Church. The Outsiders enjoyed one of 2014’s best debuts regardless of genre and will likely appear on several year-end best-of lists. He was a top nominee at the CMA Awards as he continued to push country music in new directions,
appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone’s first country issue, and played to his largest crowds yet.
Church is on the road with his "The Outsiders World Tour" mates Dwight Yoakam and Halestorm throughDec. 13 before kicking off the 2015 leg of the tour in January. PRESS RELEASE

Nashville, TN  July 25, 2014 --  Today, CMT will premiere JT Hodges’ new music video, “Already High.”  Directed by Mason Dixon, the one take, live action video was shot on location in Nashville, and features cameo appearances by several guest celebrities, including NFL football players and recording artists (see list below). The video will premiere Friday morning on CMT, Pure, CMT.com and on the CMT Artists App.  To view the video, click here: http://www.cmt.com/artists/jt-hodges/

Additionally, Hodges will participate in a Twitter Chat with CMT at 11am CT today.  Fans can ask questions by using #CMTJT.

“This video was fun for me to do for several reasons,” Hodges said.  “First, I got to hang out with lots of friends at a bar, so how can that be a bad thing?  We even had to take a break and hunker down when one of those wild Tennessee summer storms blew through. Next, I got to work really closely with Mason in conceptualizing this video.  I wanted it to have a light hearted, fun feel to it and look like a typical night out on the town, except here, I’m just trying to say goodnight to my buddies and get home to my really hot wife! Luckily, I convinced my really hot wife Kasey to play that role in my video. It took a lot of pleading, but I finally got her to say yes.”

In addition to his wife Kasey, Hodges’ video features another family member, his Australian shepherd, Dax. “Dax didn’t take a lot of convincing and works for peanuts, or should I say jerky treats,” Hodges said. “This is old hat to him, as he’s already had a role in a movie called The Sophisticates. He loved being on set because there were so many new people to get attention from. He's such a ham.”

Those people include: Michael Roos and Brian Schwenke, the Tennessee Titans; Ryan Seymour, the 49er’s; Tim Fugger, the Jets; Wesley Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers; Kyle Cook with Matchbox 20; Stephen Liles Barker of Love and Theft; Jon Stone with American Young; Joshua Jones and Driver Williams of Eric Church’s band and singer Whitney Duncan.

VIDEO PREMIERE: LOCASH COWBOYS RELEASE HEARTFELT NEW VIDEO FOR "BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE"

Nashville, TN, Nov. 21, 2013…. “Best Seat in the House,” LoCash Cowboys’ powerful new video and emotional tribute to Chris Lucas’ late father, has just been added to CMT Pure and GACtv.com. The video, shot in Nashville at Franklin Road Academy high school, traces a boy’s journey from childhood through adulthood while all the time having his father at his side, even when he was no longer living. “Best Seat in the House” is impacting listeners at radio nationwide, and is featured “On the Horizon” on Sirius XM’s The Highway channel. The video, directed by Hideout Pictures, depicts a relationship between a father and son and follows a touching football storyline created by director Potsy Ponciroli.

Written by Chris Lucas, Preston Brust and Aaron Barker, the heartfelt song is featured on the duo’s self-titled debut album, released this past summer. Lucas, pictured in the video wearing his father’s U.S. Army-issued shirt, commented, “I'm excited for the world to see this video, it turned out amazing and I know my Dad would be proud! Believe me, I know he is watching. And for anyone else who has lost someone in their lives, they are also watching from the best seat in the house.”

The duo kicks off their “Living Loud® Tour 2014” in association with Kicker © Audio in December 2013.
