Reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year and three-time GRAMMY Award winner Miranda Lambert continues to find new ways to connect with fans, as evidenced by today’s launch of her Wanda June Home collection available now exclusively at Walmart.com.

Inspired by three generations of warm and sassy Southern hospitality, Wanda June Home by Miranda Lambert is designed to help create a warm, comfortable, casual gathering place where everyone can feel at home – at the incredible prices Walmart customers can count on.

“Wanda June Home is named after the two most influential women in my life, my mom Beverly June Lambert and my grandma Wanda Louise Coker, a.k.a. Nonny. They both taught me everything I know about being a woman and how to make a warm home full of laughter, love and memories. That's really the heart of my Wanda June Home brand,” shares Lambert. “The products are a physical representation of a long line of beautiful memories with amazing women. I am thrilled to launch Wanda June Home with Walmart where my grandpa was a greeter back in the day and where I’ve shopped all my life.”

Starting today, Wanda June Home will offer more than 80 kitchen, bar, tabletop and home décor items priced from $12.97-$170, with most pieces under $30. The inaugural collection is designed to mix, match and collect, with tabletop essentials inspired by Lambert’s own Southwestern retro farm kitchen, like the Vintage Stripe Porcelain Dish Set ($39.97), fun and feisty barware, including the Saucy Sippers Stainless Steel Stemless Set ($20.98), and home décor that features Lambert’s take on Southern charm – the Jersey Knit Fringe Pillows ($20.88) are a great example. Shop Wanda June Home now at Walmart.com/wandajunehome.

“The Wanda June Home line is a truly authentic collaboration that’s only available to Walmart customers, and we know they are going to love Miranda’s approachable, warm and charming take on entertaining essentials and home décor at fantastic values,” said Anthony Soohoo, EVP, Home at Walmart. “It’s our mission to build the easiest place to shop for home design by allowing our customers to save time, effort and money. The Wanda June collection is the latest example of how Walmart is continuing to expand and elevate our assortment to democratize style for our customers.”

Wanda June Home joins Walmart’s portfolio of popular exclusive product lines, including Beautiful by Drew Barrymore, Gap Home, The Home Edit, The Pioneer Woman, Queer Eye and My Texas House. Following this inaugural collection, new Wanda June Home items and collections will drop seasonally.

The Wanda June Home line adds to an already exciting season for Lambert, whose new album Palomino arrived as the highest debuting Country album of 2022 shortly after she was awarded the Academy of Country Music’s top honor, Entertainer of the Year. She also celebrated the finale of The Bandwagon Tour this past weekend with a performance of her Palomino album cut “Actin’ Up” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and reprised the song on ABC’s broadcast of “TIME100: The World’s Most Influential People” in celebration of her inclusion on the distinguished list of honorees. Lambert will once again take the stage this fall as her Velvet Rodeo residency takes over the Zappos Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas starting in September. HANK WILLIAMS JR 4-CD BOX SET AVAILABLE AT WALMART

Since he made his Billboard chart debut in 1964, Hank Williams, Jr. has amassed one of the most prolific catalogs in the history of the music business. On October 21st, Curb Records will celebrate that legacy with the release of Hank Williams, Jr: A Country Boy Can Survive, a four-disc box set that stands as one of the most comprehensive Williams sets ever released.

The four disc box set is available now at Walmart: http://flyt.it/HankJr

Focusing on his superstar era that kicked off with 1979’s “Family Tradition,” twenty-nine of his thirty Billboard Top-40 Country hits from 1979-1990 are featured on the collection, which also includes nine of his ten number one hits (including his first 1970’s “All For The Love Of Sunshine,” with The Mike Curb Congregation.) The set also contains fan-favorite album cuts, such as ‘”Outlaw Women,” “Dinosaur,” “The Blues Man” and concert favorite “My Name Is Bocephus,” which originally appeared on his million-selling 1986 set Montana Café. The fourth disc of A Country Boy Can Survive focuses on Williams’ legendary live show, including performances of such classics as “I’m For Love” and “If Heaven Ain’t A Lot Like Dixie,” as well as the iconic title cut – which will celebrate its’ thirty-fifth anniversary in 2017.

Williams’ run with Curb remains one of the most successful recording affiliations in Country Music history. Beginning with 1977’s One Night Stands, the singer charted thirty-seven albums with the label, selling well over seventy million albums worldwide, with fifteen of his albums being certified Gold and eight Platinum. In 1982, the singer earned the distinction of becoming the only artist to simultaneously have nine albums on the Billboard Country Albums chart at one time. He was also one of the most-awarded artists of his time, winning a trio of Entertainer of the Year trophies from the ACM, as well as back-to-back honors from the CMA in 1987 and 1988. His collaboration with his late father, “There’s A Tear In My Beer,” (included on the set) won a Grammy, as well as several other honors in 1989 and 1990.

The release comes as “Bocephus” continues to experience a career resurgence. His latest Nash Icon album, It’s About Time, opened up on the Billboard Country Albums chart at No. 2 – his highest peak on that chart 1990’s Lone Wolf. The album features “Are You Ready For The Country,” a cover of the Neil Young classic with Eric Church that brought Williams his highest singles chart position since 2009. He has also played to sold-out show after another this year – both by himself, as well as with critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton.

Walmart Teams With The Band Perry, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Major Food Companies to Fight Hunger

Effort will Generate More Than 42 Million Meals and Provide $2 Million in Donations Nationwide

Nashville, Tenn., April 9, 2012 – The anti-hunger movement got some major backing today when representatives from Walmart and the Walmart Foundation, The Band Perry, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and four of the nation’s largest food companies — General Mills, ConAgra Foods, Kraft Foods and Kellogg Company — announced they have come together to fight hunger this spring. At an event in Nashville, leaders of this effort launched a campaign that will enable millions of Americans the opportunity to get involved by shopping at Walmart or visiting the company’s Facebook page today through April 30.

Spring traditionally brings a decrease in donations to food banks, leaving them unable to meet the needs of nearly 49 million Americans who at some point this year will be uncertain where their next meal will come from. To help bridge this gap, Walmart is inviting customers to visit one of its 3,854 Walmart stores and Neighborhood Markets nationwide and purchase products from participating suppliers that will help provide meals to families struggling with hunger. In-store signs will help direct customers to participating products and on-package labels will advise customers how to generate meals by entering product codes online, sharing a hashtag on Twitter or scanning a QR code.

“Hunger is a defining issue for America as millions struggle to put food on the table every day. Helping fight hunger is something our associates, customers and supplier partners believe in and together we can help make a positive impact on this issue,” said Jack Sinclair, executive vice president of Walmart’s U.S. grocery business. “Simply by going into a Walmart store or going online, every consumer in America has the opportunity to join this effort.”

Through this effort, more than 42 million meals will be donated to Feeding America food banks and Action for Healthy Kids.

Customers can also visit Walmart’s Facebook page to vote for one of 200 communities hardest hit by unemployment. The community with the most votes will receive $1 million to help fight hunger. The next 20 communities will each receive $50,000 for hunger relief. The Facebook campaign will also provide information on how users can donate or volunteer with hunger fighting organizations in their local communities.

“No one in America should go hungry and we are proud to partner with Walmart in this effort,” said Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America. “Through this program, Walmart and its partners are making a powerful impact that will not only address hunger this spring, but will have a lasting effect on the issue of hunger in America.”

As the nation’s largest grocer and largest retailer, Walmart is uniquely positioned to help end hunger in America. In 2010, the company committed $2 billion through 2015 to fight hunger. As a part of this commitment, Walmart pledged to donate more than 1.1 billion pounds of food from Walmart stores, distribution centers and Sam’s Club locations, valued at $1.75 billion, as well as $250 million in grants to support hunger relief organizations.
The company is also lending its expertise to help food banks operate more efficiently. Thus far, Walmart has contributed more than 594 million pounds of food and $122 million in grants to hunger relief programs.
