Our favorite bands around are the people that we’re friends with. So, all those people on there, man, we just think the world of them… we’re very thankful to be able to put that together and just have all our friends at the same place at once.”

In addition to a reunion of musical friends on stage, the festival located on 150 acres of meadows, ponds and wooded hills will offer the ultimate outdoor lifestyle experience for fans with the live concerts supplemented by on-site activities include canoeing, zip-lining, rock climbing and a swimming pool.

WHISKEY MYERS JOIN NBC’S “3RD HOUR OF TODAY” FOR FIRST-EVER LIVE PERFORMANCE ON NATIONAL TELEVISION

Just four days after their self-titled album’s highly-anticipated release, Whiskey Myers brought the music to national audiences with a performance of “Rolling Stone” on NBC’s “3rd Hour of TODAY.”

Hosts Sheinelle Jones, Craig Melvin, Dylan Dreyer and Al Roker introduced the performance in the 9 a.m. hour, highlighting the band’s decision to self-produce their new project, available now. “I think it was just time,” shared lead guitarist John Jeffers. “It took us a while to decide whether or not we wanted to do it, but it just felt like the right time to get after it.”

The appearance marked the first live national television performance for the band, who previously made a cameo appearance in the hit show “Yellowstone,” which also featured seven of their songs throughout seasons one and two.

WHISKEY MYERS – which debuted atop the iTunes Rock chart and top three on the All-Genre chart in what is proving to be a strong first week of sales for the independent band – is praised by Farce the Music as “a Southern rock masterpiece… in the very best tradition of the nearly forgotten genre,” with Saving Country Music noting “though Whiskey Myers has been around for over 10 years, you get a sense this is a band that is about to hit their stride and this new, self-titled record could be the catalyst.”

The band also broke into the top 40 at Active Rock radio this week with scorching album cut “Gasoline,” with a corresponding music video set for release this Thursday, October 3.

Whiskey Myers spent 18 days at Sonic Ranch outside El Paso, Texas crafting the album, pouring the lessons learned from previous collaborator Dave Cobb into self-producing for the first time, and narrowing down the list from more than 30 songs written for the project before adding the iconic McCrary Sisters’ gospel prowess as backing vocals on the project. The self-led thought process in the studio was indeed a path to musical success, with People noting that “A majority of those ideas were good ones, ones that took the band into a deeper musical space while keeping with the genre-less brand of music that has drawn countless fans to over 2,000 of their live shows, most of those being sell-outs.”

Indeed, the new album comes on the heels of remarkable success at live shows for the road-tested band. In addition to selling out 95% of their headlining shows over the past two years with a relentless touring schedule that included 15 overseas dates and an at-capacity Stagecoach Festival set this year alone, Whiskey Myers have opened for everyone from Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top to, most recently, a massive stadium show with The Rolling Stones at Chicago’s Soldier Field.

THE TEN LIST: JARED BLAKE, ASH BOWERS, RAY SCOTT, BRANCH AND DEAN, BRANDY CLARK, MATT VANFOSSEN , WHISKEY MYERS, SEAN PATRICK MCGRAW, COREY COX AND SUNNY SWEENEY

Check out this week's "The Ten List" comprised of ten songs from both new artists and established artists, some you may know and some you may not. Some of the songs are brand new and some may have been out awhile but may wind up being brand new to you. Take the time to check them out and if you like what you hear, let us know and then tell someone else about it! Let's pass the word about great music. All of the music below is available for purchase on iTunes. If you purchase, don't forget to leave a review!

"STOMP" - JARED BLAKE (NBC'S "THE VOICE")

"A feel good, get up and move your booty whether you want to or not. The song is currently featured on Sirius Xm's The Highway's "On the Horizon". Request and let them know you're ready to stomp your way to a good time."

"HEAVEN IS A SMALL TOWN" - ASH BOWERS

"This isn't just a song, it's a spiritual experience."

"I LOVE YOU BOTH" - RAY SCOTT

"Ray Scott is a breath of fresh real country air in a stale country environment. He brings his stories to life and sings each note with steadfast conviction."

"GLAD SHE'S NOT AN ANGEL" - BRANCH AND DEAN

"These guys are the country real deal."

"HUNGOVER" - BRANDY CLARK

"Another hit from Brandy that you won't hear on mainstream. Brandy Clark is the quintessential female country artist - one hell of a songwriter and storyteller, country vocal perfection and the attitude of a pissed off Philly that no one can get close enough to saddle break."

"BOOM" - MATT VANFOSSEN

"Crank your speakers up and get your 'Boom' on with this new summertime hit."

"DOGWOOD" - WHISKEY MYERS

"No matter which state you're from, Whiskey Myers makes each listener feel like they're from Texas, even if it's just for a 4 minute song."

"I'M THAT GUY" - SEAN PATRICK MCGRAW

"Actually, SPM's been that guy for awhile, now it's time that country fans pay attention."

"WAKE UP DRUNK" - COREY COX

"Hopefully this single will wake up potential new fans and gain some attention for this Indiana country newcomer."

"BAD GIRL PHASE"  -  SUNNY SWEENEY

"A female voice that's been overlooked too long , Sunny Sweeney has decided it's time for that to come to an end. She's put on her "get down to business" boots and has one thing on her mind, getting her music the recognition it's long been deserving."
