This tour isn't JUST about the songs; it's about our shared experiences, the memories we create together in each city, each venue, each moment. DUKE SPIRITS LAUNCHES THE MASTERS MUSIC SERIES NEW PROGRAM FEATURING ESTABLISHED ARTISTS AND RISING STARS IN LIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEOS INCLUDING WYNONNA JUDD, ERIC PASLAY, RUNAWAY JUNE, AND MORE

Duke Spirits is teaming up with a talented group of artists for its latest project, The Masters Music Series, launching today (10/7). Hosted by Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne, The Masters Music Series is a live performance video series that unites an accomplished group of musicians and writers, showcasing and supporting both emerging and established artists through various programs and initiatives. The series will release two videos each week on Duke Spirits' YouTube channel.

The Masters Music Series debuts with Eric Paslay singing his hit "Friday Night," and Paul McDonald performing "New Lovers." Artists featured in upcoming videos include Wynonna Judd, Craig Campbell, The Dryes, Runaway June, Marcus Hummon, Jake Rose, Josh Shilling, Jennifer Wayne & Austin Moody, and more. Watch the official trailer here.

For the music-focused program, Executive Producer & Duke Spirits Founder Chris Radomski and Producer Austin Moody envisioned a sound that embodies the soul and pride of America, the same spirit personified by the legendary Duke, John Wayne. Combining their talents, passion for music, and ideals, this concept came to life inside Studio A at the iconic Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville, TN.

“I am extremely proud and honored to work with such a talented and giving group of artists," Radomski says. "We share common values and passions which are the foundation of America and represented by the soul of Duke Spirits. We hope The Masters Music Series will showcase great performances and provide a platform to support emerging artists.”

“My goal for The Masters Music Series was to create a sound which 'The Duke' himself would approve of," Moody adds. "As a man who valued quality and character, we had to make sure this sounded like we were making a record. To back each artist, I handpicked musicians who have a 'thing,' something that no one can truly recreate but those players themselves. It’s not only the playing you have to think about, it’s the attitude – it's the grit.”

But she was always there anyway, with her magnificently versatile alto and penchant for both belting and swooning. With her tight band behind her after touring together for several years, she just sounds like she's home...You can just feel the grin on her face."
--Ann Powers, NPR, February 3, 2016

WYNONNA & THE BIG NOISE is a milestone for WYNONNA, opening an exciting new chapter for her. She describes the new album as "vintage yet modern" and a "return to the well." It's a rootsy work encompassing Americana, blues, soul, rock and country.

EARLY PRAISE FOR WYNONNA & THE BIG NOISE:

"...the self-titled Wynonna & The Big Noise brings a raw, unvarnished approach to the album's dozen tracks, which run the gamut from gutsy blues to sweet, Seventies-inspired country-pop. While the LP is a natural for the wide-open Americana format, Wynonna's legions of country fans will feel right at home with the singer's first full-length album of original material since 2003's What the World Needs Now Is Love."
--Stephen L. Betts, ROLLINGSTONE.COM, November 6, 2015

"Singer Wynonna Judd opens a new chapter in her long career with her forthcoming album Wynonna & The Big Noise, her first with a full band of her own...the sound, however, is a departure, more stripped to the bone and rootsy, more contemporary American..."
--Randy Lewis, LOS ANGELES TIMES, January 22, 2016

"...she's reinvented herself again. The self-titled album with her new band is a mix of country, soul, rock, blues, mountain and just plain attitude...Wynonna & the Big Noise just may be her best album ever. Which is saying a lot."
--Chuck Yarborough,CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER, January 26, 2016

"The new album...explores more blues, soul, Americana and early rock 'n' roll styles alongside her trademark country croon...The album features the handiwork of some interesting collaborators including Susan Tedeschi's pluck on the bluesy opener 'Ain't No Thing,' Derek Trucks' guitar prowess on the soulful confessional 'Keeps Me Alive' and the tenderness of folk star Jason Isbell on the pensive gospel hymnal 'Things That I Lean On,' among others."
--Selena Fragassi, CHICAGO DAILY HERALD, January 29, 2016

NBC'S "THE VOICE" FINALE GOES COUNTRY WITH GUESTS RICKY SKAGGS, WYNONNA AND SAM HUNT

NBC's hit vocal competition, "The Voice", wrapped up an amazing ninth season last night with one of the closest races ever for the title. The four final positions, whittled down from thousands of entries, went to #TeamBlake's Barrett Baber and Emily Ann Roberts, #TeamGwen's Jefferey Austin, and #TeamAdam's Jordan Smith.

With America's final votes cast the night before, the finalists returned to the stage with former contestants and to sing duets with their "dream duet partners" as well as duets with their team coaches. What a night for some amazing music!

The night kicked off with an all inclusive contestant rendition of "Lean on Me". Following the performance, each finalist brought back a previous contestant of their choice for a duet. Barrrett Baber chose country favorite Zach Seabaugh for a rousing rendition of the Randy Travis classic, "Forever and Ever, Amen", bringing the crowd to their feet and having millions at home singing along.

Up next was Jeffery Austin with former team member Madi Davis for their collaboration of a song by the late Amy Winehouse, "Tears Dry on Their Own". In true Jordan form, Smith went big and kicked it into full gear by bringing back several contestants to raise the roof with the Journey classic, "Any Way You Want It". Emily Ann Roberts followed Jordan's lead by bringing back a brigade of her own to rock the stage with Rascal Flatts' anthem, "Summer Nights". Following the contestant performances, Coldplay took the stage and performed their song, "Adventure of a Lifetime", followed by another group of former contests who boarded the "Love Train".

Country Dream Duet #1 - Emily Ann Roberts and country bluegrass legend, Ricky Skaggs, did some big time pickin' and it was us that was doing the grinnin' as they brought the crowd to their feet with a rousing, energetic performance of  Skaggs' "Country Boy". What a showing! Bluegrass had a rebirth last night and I'm sure a birth of many new fans.

Following the country collaboration of Roberts and Skaggs, Jeffery Austin connected with his dream partner, Tori Kelly, on her single,“Hollow” and the crowd loved it.

Country Dream Duet #2: Barrett Baber and one of country's biggest voices and most powerful presences, Wynonna, performed her smash hit, "No One Else on Earth" and it was a power vocal on both parts without a doubt.

The evening wrapped up with a duet between Pharrell and hip hop queen Missy Elliott, a performance of "Break Up in a Small Town" by Sam Hunt, a song by The Weeknd, and a finale performance by Justin Beiber.

And the winner was ... and well deserved ... JORDAN SMITH!
Congratulations to all finalists, you were the cream of the crop and we all know that cream always rises to the top!

Lane is catching fans attention with her national debut single “Steal Me Away" that she co-wrote along with Lee Thomas Miller (Trace Adkins, “You’re Gonna Miss This”) and award-winning producer/musician Ilya Toshinskiy (Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood). The music video for the bold, fun-loving tune premiered on CMT.com and has been featured on GAC’s Emerging Artists Channel, ZUUS and across multiple online platforms.

She is currently working on new music and writing with some of Nashville’s top tunesmiths including Catt Gravitt (Jake Owen, “Alone With You”), Danny Myrick (Jason Aldean, “She's Country”) and Laura Veltz (Eli Young Band, "Drunk Last Night”). The talented singer will once again team up with musician Ilya Toshinskiy at the helm of the new music. Channel, ZUUS and across multiple online platforms.

The fresh-faced newcomer made the move to Nashville, TN, over a year ago to pursue music, eagerly following in the footsteps of her mother who was a country singer. Ever since she can remember, the 23-year-old has been immersed in the craft and tradition of country music and knew that Music City was where she would land after graduating from USC with a focus in music, songwriting and acting.

PRESS RELEASE

American music icon WYNONNA has announced dates for her “Wynonna and Friends: Stories & Song” tour. Launching Wednesday, January 14 in Durham, NC, with a stop in her Ashland, KY hometown, the special run of shows will visit intimate venues only. With her one-of-a-kind powerhouse voice and engaging storytelling flair, WYNONNA--joined by her 3-piece band including her husband, producer and award-winning artist Cactus Moser--will share with audiences the personal stories behind what inspired her to record the songs from her 30-year platinum career.

“Wynonna and Friends: Stories & Song” will also hit Indiana, Idaho, California, Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut, before wrapping Sunday, March 8 in Boston, MA. The tour itinerary is below and additional dates will be added. To purchase tickets and stay informed on new confirmed shows, visit www.wynonna.com.

“The concept for the ‘Stories & Song’ tour has been a dream of mine for many years and will be unlike any tour I’ve ever done before,” explains WYNONNA about the inspiration for this special tour. “My husband and professional partner, Cactus Moser, and I have put this show together and, along with the band [The Big Noise], we all feel a renewed passion and we believe that this music is being celebrated in a whole new way. That gives me a great deal of hope and it is my prayer that others who come to our shows will experience that hope as well.”

When asked why she feels now is the time for a tour like this, WYNONNA says, “I have shared the stage with some of the greatest singers and musicians in the world and I have recorded with artists from all genres of music. It has been an amazing journey for me. I'm an ordinary woman that extraordinary things have happened to because I choose to continue to suit up and show up where I am called. I am more passionate now than I have ever been about my life, my gift, my faith, hopes and dreams, and I want so much to share my story and my songs with my fans. I have experienced so many personal and professional highs and lows on this journey, and having been on the road for 34 years now, I am so grateful for the wisdom and experience I have gained throughout all that has happened on and off stage. I'm looking forward to sharing my message with others, to celebrate this time in my life with the fans that have supported me all these years, as well as connect with new fans.”

As a five-time Grammy winner and New York Times bestselling author, WYNONNA’s career has always revolved around telling stories. Whether she’s using her rich, commanding voice to sing one of her countless hits or sitting down for one of her many bold, honest television appearances, WYNONNA always gets her point across with unflinching honesty and wisdom gained over the course of her very public life.

WYNONNA has been working with husband/producer/drummer Cactus Moser on solo material for her 8th studio album due out 2015 on Curb Records. She recently opened up to Rolling Stone Country about the direction the new music is taking, describing it as “vintage yet modern.” (7/9/14) The full interview can be read here.

The couple also recently released “Follow Me,” an original song exclusively for the film “The Hornet’s Nest” which features unprecedented real footage to tell the story of an elite group of U.S. troops sent on a dangerous mission deep inside one of Afghanistan’s most hostile valleys. They performed the powerful track on “Good Morning America” May 22; watch here.

"WAY BACK WHEN" WEDNESDAY - "NO ONE ELSE ON EARTH" - WYNONNA

Contributor: Alyse Smith
Follow Alyse on Twitter - @ASmith1300

This Wednesday’s feature is one of the few artists famous enough to carry off the one name thing, the no last name needed thing, joining the ranks of Elvis, Cher and Bono - the one and only Wynonna!

Wynonna’s voice is powerful in a way few have ever been, and it is one of the things most commonly associated with her.  Luckily, she has a personality as powerful as her voice. Her song “No One Else on Earth” famously displays this. Written by Jill Colucci, Sam Lorber and Stewart Harris and released on her debut solo album “Wynonna” in 1992. Before her solo career, Wynonna had a very successful career as half of the Judds with her mom Naomi. After finding their way in the music business and discovering what kind of artists they were, they sought separate paths. This was also influenced by Naomi’s illness at the time who for lack of want or ability, stepped aside for the time being. The happy ending still today is that Naomi’s fine, she became an author and motivational speaker. Wynonna became a smash success off her solo career and presently continues to do so.
The fact that “No One Else on Earth” was part of her quadruple-platinum debut makes it all the more impressive, as one does not expect that command over one’s voice and the music industry at such a stark change in a career. With equal parts honesty and aplomb, as Wynonna has always handled herself, she continues to tour and pursue music today. Though she’s mastered several industries along with a chaotic life more in the public than most are used to, this is still the song that draws me back to her.  “No One Else on Earth” is one of those songs where no matter who or where you are, everyone gets giddy and screams right there with Wynonna. (HOW DID YOU GET TO ME?!),  one of those that just overtakes you, you just can’t help it. After all, it’s Wynonna!

WYNONNA & THE BIG NOISE “A SIMPLER CHRISTMAS” TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

PRESS RELEASE

WYNONNA supplements the Martha Stewart-type qualities of the season, such as crafting homemade gift wrap, perfect bows, knitting tailored holiday sweaters and painting ornaments to adorn flawlessly manicured Christmas trees, with her one-of-a-kind powerhouse voice to interject peace, joy and the spirit of the holiday season.

Wynonna--along with her band, The Big Noise--will bring A Simpler Christmas to audiences for the second year in a row as she performs some of her holiday favorites as well as her greatest hits. “Every year I look forward to our Christmas tour,” says WYNONNA, “It’s so easy to get caught up in the perfectionism and the expectations that this time of the year often brings. I love singing the music that inspires me to remember the real reason for the season. My hope is that people can come to the show, forget about their ‘to do’ list and, for the time we are together, simply enjoy themselves.”

WYNONNA READY TO ‘TALK’ ABOUT ‘GOT SOUL’ JUST IN TIME FOR ‘A SIMPLER CHRISTMAS’

APPEARANCE ON CBS’S ‘THE TALK’ SET FOR MONDAY, OCTOBER 28

THE COUNTRY ICON TO DISCUSS NEW WOMEN’S SHOE LINE, "GOT SOUL"

COLLECTION OF BEDAZZLED SNEAKERS, WEDGES AND FLATS IN STORES WINTER 2013

ALSO REVEALS PLANS FOR ‘A SIMPLER CHRISTMAS’ TOUR
WITH HER BAND THE BIG NOISE

Wynonna Judd will make an appearance on CBS’s “The Talk,” daytime television’s fastest-growing network talk show, Monday, October 28 (2-3 PM ET; 1-2 PM PT/CT), to reveal details on her new women’s shoe line Got Soul, as well as plans for her “A Simpler Christmas” tour kicking off December 3.

The five-time Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, musician and New York Times best-selling author can now add shoe designer to her resume. At the MAGIC Fashion and Apparel Trade Show in Las Vegas this past August, Wynonna unveiled her new women’s shoe line: Got Soul. The new collection of bedazzled sneakers, wedges and flats, will be available at Fred Segal LA and boutiques across America just in time for the holiday gift-giving season.

As for the inspiration behind starting her own shoe line, Wynonna said it came from her real-life road experience. “I’m on stage, and I hear from the audience, ‘Oh my god, your shoes,’” Wynonna told Women’s Wear Daily’s Footwear News (check out the 9/2/13 story here). “[Fans kept saying] the same thing at meet-and-greets. All of a sudden, it was like, ‘bling!’ literally and figuratively. Every woman needs to feel sparkly at some point.”

Wynonna goes on to share where the desire to create the new line came from. “It wasn’t a marketing thing. I’ve been offered all kinds of deals, but it truly has to be something that’s really me. I wear [fashion sneakers] every night on stage for my two-hour show, so it started authentically, and I’m really proud of that. It’s a very personal love affair with the fans.

“The initial line will include a variety of wedges with cool buckles and fringe, sneakers with an assortment of flag designs and bedazzled sequins, and then my favorites that inspired the entire line, the high top sequined sneakers. I think we did a great job at creating a dynamic line that the fans will love, that are unique and full of attitude.”

While on the “The Talk,” Wynonna will also discuss her upcoming holiday tour--“A Simpler Christmas”--with her band The Big Noise. The intimate and joyous performances will showcase her legendary voice in a set of inspirational Christmas favorites, plus some of her greatest hits. Wynonna & The Big Noise kick off their “A Simpler Christmas” tour December 3 in Bakersfield, CA with dates running through December 22 in York, PA (see full itinerary below). “The holidays are a hectic time of year for so many,” says Wynonna. “The guys and I are excited to give fans a chance to experience the simpler sounds of the season." Finely etched musical arrangements by her band will put Wynonna’s voice front and center for what promises to be a truly memorable evening of music and holiday magic.

WYNONNA’S MONDAY YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT

NEW SINGLE, NEW DOCUMENTARY, NATIONAL MAGAZINE COVER AND
NETWORK TELEVISION SHOW

The excitement all begins Monday, March 18.

2013 is shaping up to be a truly memorable year for country music icon WYNONNA JUDD. There’s a new single due from her upcoming album, an hour long television documentary, and a national magazine cover feature, plus it was recently announced that she will be a contestant on ABC's juggernaut TV show “Dancing With The Stars.”

On Monday, Wynonna returns to music as country radio receives “Something You Can’t Live Without,” the first single off her forthcoming full-length album, produced by her husband/drummer Cactus Moser and set for release this year on Curb Records. This album--her first with all new material in over four years--was recorded in her own home studio and is deeply personal, especially noting the life-changing events the couple experienced last year. “Something You Can’t Live Without” was co-written by Moser and hitmaker David Lee Murphy and serves as a reminder of Wynonnna and Cactus’ unwavering love for each other. The track will be available digitally via iTunes and Amazon on Tuesday, March 19.

Also on Monday (3/18), “Wynonna and Cactus: The Road Back” will premiere on Great American County (GAC TV) at 10pm ET/9pm CT. The hour long documentary tells the never-before-shared story of newlyweds Wynonna and Cactus Moser and their journey from a fledgling crush to a devastating motorcycle accident last year that took Cactus’ leg. Through revealing interviews and exclusive home footage, this story documents a miraculous journey from the depths of despair to the triumphant stage comeback of her husband and drummer. Wynonna and Cactus have also intimately shared the details of their life post-accident in a cover story with US Weekly, on newsstands this week.

The five-time Grammy winner has courageously taken on another challenge in her life by competing on ABC’s powerhouse show “Dancing With The Stars.” Wynonna’s first dance with professional partner and last season’s champion instructor Tony Dovolani will air Monday, March 18 at 8pm ET/7pm CT.

“I focused on being a wife and a nurse for the last seven months and now I’m doing something for myself,” shares Wynonna. “The main word for me this year is ‘risk.’  I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and doing something that a lot of people tell me is crazy—but they get it.”

In true Wynonna fashion, despite the hardships she has faced, she’s always able to laugh. When asked why she’s doing this now, she jokes, “I’m trying to get back to my original weight of 8 lbs and 15 oz.”
